    a variety of pizzas

Hubby and I were in the city and had to use the bathroom badly. I don't like going into places to use their bathroom without buying something so I ordered two slices before using their bathroom. I'm glad I did. We ended up snacking on a slice while we went to our other destination. It definitely kept us satisfied for the trip. The pizza was not the best I've had. The pepperoni were scant but it came in handy lol

Pretty good slice! There are so many flavors, but I think the rainbow slice (can't remember if that's actually what it's called, but it's the slice with many sauces) was probably my favorite. ~ $5 a slice Definitely recommend for late night eating!

The Margherita slice is my favorite here. Jose, a server, knows that I like my slice cut into small pieces which I eat with a fork and knife. This would cause shock among New Yorkers but this is how I have eaten pizza in many countries. I find the pizza sauce a touch sweet. There I are many varieties of pizzas made here and business is always brisk. There is plenty of seating here and a fender neutral clean restroom in the back.

    Thanks, Lunetta!

Lunetta Pizza is a favorite spot for the Epiphany School! As teachers, we frequently order from them whenever we have faculty meetings. The pizza is great quality, really fresh ingredients. The employees are so friendly and kind. They were more than willing to donate over 40 pizza boxes to our fourth grade classroom for a project we were doing on fractions. The manager let us know that they have unfortunately been grouped with 2 other Lunetta Pizza's that have the same name but they're not under the same management. This is the OG Lunetta!!!! Definitely stop in for a slice or consider them the next time you're looking for a reliable meal in the neighborhood!

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

We started with two fabulous drinks: An Espresso Martini and their signature Limoncello Margarita. We shared the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad and it was fabulous. The bits of bacon, combined with the spiciness of the pepper spices, made this a perfect starter. The entree was also shared and it was the Spicoli 2.0 Pizza. I cannot recommend this pie, enough. You will taste flavors that you've probably never experienced before with a pizza. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. Each spoonful of those strawberries, dancing with the firm custard and glaze, made this a stupendous cap to the meal.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
