If you're looking for a breakfast spot that has poor service and riddled with incompetence then I have found the place for you! Picture this, you walk into a barren hotel lobby cafe themed restaurant that has a wait to be seated while there is barely anyone there. Once you get seated after waiting 20 mins with the crowd that has now accumulated at the front door, you get seated where you get to then wait another 20 mins to order, then another 20 mins to get that order then another 20 mins to get your drinks. Not including the times you have to ask to get water (3). Overall experience was abysmal. The staff are nice but they're either mismanaged or just that "slow." Food wise it's breakfast food, pretty easy not to screw up. Currently typing this in their bathroom while I wait for them to bring the check. Popped in here before leaving Charlotte. Lots of recommendations to come here so we figured we had to. It's location does not have any direct parking in front of it's store front. There is a paid parking lot next to it. I believe it was $5 for the first half hour and it goes up from there. Down the street though, about a block away is plenty of street parking. I didn't know this restaurant existed because I'm new to Charlotte, so I wanted to give it a try. I saw it while driving around. Upon entering the facility, I was pleasantly and professionally greeted. That is so important for me. I was seated immediately, despite the restaurant being busy. They also had outdoor seating, but it was too hot to be out there. My server, whose name was Nashera, was phenomenal. When I tell you, she was so kind, pleasant, genuine, and professional from start to finish. She was running around taking care of multiple things, but not once did she neglect my table. I ordered the Blah Blah Blah Omelet and had it with turkey sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and goat cheese. My side was the breakfast potatoes. This place is located at the Lower Level of the building. Once you enter the building, you'll see the sign right in front of the security guard. Take the elevator and follow the sign. I had the shrimp & grits, it tasted good, has plenty of shrimp, with the sauce on grits, I think it's little plain, could use some salt & pepper to taste better. Dropped in on a Saturday morning around 8:30am and were sat downstairs for two immediately. The hostess was nice and the server was quick. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. I love that you can order breakfast and lunch all day because I was not in a breakfast mood. I ordered the blackened chicken caesar wrap with a fruit cup as the side and he ordered 3 eggs with toast and potatoes. The food came out quickly and we both enjoyed our meals. The wrap was light so I was satisfied without feeling super full or crappy afterwards which I was hoping for - the only thing I wish it had was more chicken. The flavors were on point but the second half of the wrap had much less chicken than the first half. We got the Avocado Omelet ($12), 2 Blah-Blah-Blah Omelets Build Your Own ($11.5 each for 3 ingredients, $1 for every additional ingredient), Stuffed French Toast with peanut butter and banana, and One Flapjack with banana nut. All were fairly average. The omelets came with choice of potatoes, grits, or fruit. The potatoes were boiled and terrible. The grits were good. For the build your own omelets, you can choose 1 meat and then 2 vegetable/cheese. Neither of us got meat, and we wish that we could sub 2 vegetable/cheese ingredients if we don't get meat. We got the Rumosa ($7.5), which is a mimosa with mango rum, and a regular mimosa ($7). They were your average mimosas. There are better brunch places in the area, so I will not be back. read more

Our server was good, they have a rotating operation where a lot of servers are helping you out but they were all great. The food also came out relatively fast!
