Caesar with grilled shrimp. Sorry I didn't photog the smash burgers.
    Gab T.

Would I go here if I weren't staying in the hotel and had long days? Maybe not. However I was extremely grateful it was there and good. First night I had Caesar salad with grilled shrimp - the shrimp was perfect actually. I liked the dressing. And yes there is bad Caesar dressing. Had a lot of croutons so if you wanted a lot of carbs, he would be set, but I'm not a huge crouton person so I mostly ignore those. The tanquerey and tonics were delicious.l lol. The next night me and my friend had smash burgers and fries. We liked them. Was glad To have a lot of calories bc I really hadn't eaten all day. But glad I didn't have to spend the money on a steak.

Stayed in the hotel for a conference and didn't want to walk in the rain to a nearby restaurant. Ate here twice, once with customers having drinks late - wings were great, fries were good, margharita flatbread was meh. Second time was for lunch, burger tasted like it was battered in salt, fries were good. Beer was cold...

Chicken skewers were great. Burger was good as well. My husband enjoyed his smash burger as well

Getting a bill on the table before I actually even managed to start eating and then finding out the avocado toast was completely burnt, making it cancerous at a maximum level is not what I would expect at such a place... staying at the hotel for a few more days makes me now worried about the future breakfasts.....

Quality food in a hotel when I travel is important. The local beer was cold, salad crisp, wings properly cooked and dessert was the way to top off the evening. Well done Sheraton!

Good place to grab a bite if you are staying in the hotel. We grabbed an appetizer and sandwich. The bartender was friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. The bar and restaurant are clean and have plenty of room. Gave them a four stay because the second day the service for lunch was super slow.

Just stop in for drinks. Had a nice selection of brew on tap and a full bar. Service was a little slow but it was late at night. Has a pool table and bags inside.

Churros with salted caramel tequila ice cream. So yum.

We had reservations but it wasn't overly busy so I don't think they were necessary for that day and time but I would definitely recommend on busier times. I love the fact that this is more of a tapas style restaurant so you can order and taste a ton of options. Plates are generally around $14-22 per plate and they have enough for three or four (tapas style). We started with crab dip and oysters on the half shell (raw). The crab dip was rich and creamy and served with buttered crusty, buttered bread. The oysters were amazing too but a little nuance about these: they are listed by region (e.g. West Coast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and not listed as they type of oyster. Oysters vary greatly within a single region so I would encourage you to ask what specific oysters they serve for each region (they will look it up and tell you) to make sure you know what you are getting. We also ordered the calamari, small salad (unlisted option for the salad listed on the menu) and poke bowl to share. We went in hungry and probably ordered too much because this was all to start off. Everything was really good and worth ordering. For my "entree" or ordered the trout which comes with lentils and broccolini. This dish was fantastic and highly recommended. The trout was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing and did a great job. Additionally, this is the perfect spot for a "dinner and a show" since it is right beside the Knight theater. Parking is easily accessible at the Green Garage right across the street.

This restaurant is very nicely designed. It's visually appealing with tables indoors, a bar area, and an outside dining area. The hostess and my server were professional and extremely nice and made my dining experience very pleasant. The reason I am giving three stars instead of four or more comes down to value. Seafood is expensive, I get that. But I don't know that there's much value to be had here. Portion sizes are small relative to what you're paying for. And in my opinion, while the freshness and the quality of the seafood may be there, the flavor is not. I have no doubt that the quality of the seafood here is good. But I did not enjoy anything I ordered. I wasn't put off by the food, but I wish I had wanted to savor each bit. I ordered the cajun grilled oysters and the miso sablefish. I thought both were too salty and despite paying over $40 for the meal, I left still a bit hungry.

The space itself is a showstopper--marble tabletops, a statement bar backsplash, and ambient lighting leave no detail overlooked. An absolute stunner, and a shining gem in Charlotte's dining scene. The team here is exceptionally thoughtful: guests receive a text not only confirming their reservation, but also providing clear directions for the three hours of complimentary parking in the adjacent Duke Energy Plaza lot. Both the food and dessert menus are winners. I ordered the stuffed dates, cordero asado, and knafeh cheesecake--all well prepared. While the dates could have been prepared more juicy and softer, the peanut muhammara was pure genius and a delightful enhancement. The cordero would be even more perfect if paired with a side of bread or pita to soak up the savory jus. The cheesecake proved a scrumptious finale--definitely enjoy it with a latte or cappuccino. I also got the hanger steak frites and it was honestly delicious. Our server highly recommended the potatoes, but 4 out of the 6 people at our table thought they were a bit overdone and close to burnt. The Umami elevated them tremendously, the taste was divine. I'm not a fan of caviar but the taste was delicious nonetheless. The star of the show was the Branzino. It was moist and flaky with a delectable butter and caper sauce. I was throughly enjoying each bite. There was a plethora of chard veggies that were robustly seasoned. By the time the fish came we were definitely full but it was delicious. The Mango Surprise was filling in bits elf. The Mango was sweet and soft and played well with the soy sauce and sweet imitation crab. The cheese Tower was amazing. The 3 cheese was robust. We came in on a weeknight at dinner time with no reservation, so we had to sit at the bar (which was just fine). The space is very upscale but comfortable. Service was impeccable. The bartender (Kevin?) was engaging and attentive, as were others working behind the bar. They make you kind of feel like regulars, and that vibe led to good conversations with other patrons. The drink menu is impressive, with the usual classics but also many variants on them; all of which sounded really good. My business partner had the Ube Sour. The flavors, including Sweet Potato powder, where unique and really good. I had a Vesper that was prepared perfectly. Pricing on the wines by the glass were very good and the selection was excellent. My business partner had the Seafood Pasta with squid ink spaghetti. He loved it and the spicy tomato sauce. There was plenty of perfectly cooked seafood. I had the roasted Sea Bass with Broccolini. So good! But what really got me was an add-on side of Seafood Mashed Potatoes. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was wonderful enough to be an entree by itself. Shrimp and Langostinos in an incredible cream sauce over buttery mashed potatoes (see pic). Desserts were also excellent. My business partner had what I think was a coconut crema, which he loved. I had two scoops of house made ice cream (vanilla and pistachio) with berries; also very, very good. I mentioned attention to details at the start. An example of this watching staff behind the bar polishing glasses. Polishing, not just washing. I watched one person spend almost 5 minutes polishing a single champagne class; constantly checking it for spots before putting in on the shelf. That's attention to detail!

As guests at the hotel--and with a snowstorm swirling outside--we especially appreciated having a restaurant of this caliber right downstairs. This is not a typical hotel coffee-shop setup. Mico delivers a true high-end dining experience that easily stands on its own. I had read that the menu carries an Argentinean influence, though that wasn't immediately obvious on my first pass. The offerings lean heavily into seafood while also featuring several prime beef options, giving the menu a nice range. Because it was the final weekend of Charlotte's Restaurant Week, my wife ordered the hanger steak, paired with lobster bisque and the North Carolina apple bread pudding. The steak had excellent flavor, a perfect char, and was cooked exactly as requested. The bisque was especially welcome on a cold night, though it was a bit heavier on salt than I prefer. The bread pudding, however, was a standout--so much so that we ordered a second. I went with the Pampas seared ahi tuna. The presentation was beautiful, and the sear was spot-on. The South American Parmesan fries were served hot and crisp, making them an easy favorite. Mico is the kind of restaurant that works equally well for locals seeking a polished night out and travelers who want a memorable meal without leaving their hotel. My husband and daughter both enjoyed their steaks and had no complaints about their meals. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different. I ordered the scallops. After taking a few bites of the first one, I noticed something tasted off but initially thought it might just be me. I cut into a second scallop and while the first taste seemed normal, the more I chewed it, the stronger a chemical-like flavor became. The only way I could describe it was that it tasted like cleaning products. When I mentioned it to our waitress, she immediately asked if it tasted like ammonia. I said yes, exactly. She told me that sometimes this happens but assured me it wasn't because the scallops were bad. She offered to replace my meal and suggested lamb, which I don't eat, so i choose the chicken dish she suggested instead. By the time the replacement arrived, my husband and daughter were nearly finished with their meals, and honestly, I had lost my appetite. The chicken was somewhat dry, although the potatoes were very good. I only ate a couple of bites. What disappointed me most was the lack of management involvement. At no point did a manager visit our table to discuss the issue, apologize, or check on the situation. After the replacement meal, we were simply presented with the bill. We weren't asked if we would like to look at the desert menu and I was charged for the chicken replacement that I took two bites from. After getting home, I researched scallops with an ammonia taste and found that it can indicate handling or freshness issues. Thankfully, I haven't become seriously ill, though I did experience an upset stomach for the entire evening afterward. I'm glad my husband and daughter enjoyed their meals and I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for quite some time. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I won't be returning.
