    Breakfast Sandwich
    Scott F.

Gave the Toastery a try and a good experience overall. Service was really good. Seated promptly and orders taken quickly. Server was also very friendly. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, eggs over easy with bacon and grits. The sandwich arrived and it was very good. The eggs were cooked correctly (doesn't happen at a lot of breakfast places). Bread was well toasted and the bacon crispy. Only complain was the grits. They were very watery almost the consistency of water with no taste so I'll be skipping those next time. Overall a good place for a breakfast stop.

    French toast is amazing!

Yaideliz was on top of it! SHE WAS AMAZING! From the second we sat down she was very intentive, and every time we requested something as a new side she got it fairly quickly. Obviously, she has good communication with the kitchen. She will be my reason I come back! Also I did notice Dakota was also does his job very well and was so sweet. Between Yaideliz and Dakota this place is definitely on the up and up from our last visit! Dakota was literally looking around constantly for tables to clean to make sure everything was presentable

Toast has been one of my favorite breakfast places for a while. I've tried four locations over the years and the majority of my experiences have been excellent. I've recently dined at the Indian Land location on a Sunday. They're always busy, packed and the service is always great. Don't miss the opportunity to try to their fresh squeezed orange juice. Just remember to put your name on the waitlist before you get there to avoid a frustrating wait.

Great concept but this visit was a miss. Got seated right away, but it did take our server quite some time before she greeted us, and when she did, she told us she would be right with us and walked off. When she came back we ordered our drinks, and those seemed to take a very long time to come out. In fact, our server came back to our table, asked if we wanted corn bread and the bread still came out before our drinks. Then the food came out and I gotta say it wasn't great. The French toast was meh, and the eggs were decent. The bacon was rubbery and the syrup was like water. To be honest it seemed as though all the food was pre cooked and packaged and the Jude warmed up. I wish I would have had time to try out their drinks though, those looked good.

This place is absolutely fabulous. It's a lot of food for your money. See the pictures. It was great. I'm here from out of state and it's a great place to come. Service was great

DISSAPOINTED IN THE PRICE INCREASE. Our $40 ticket went to a $60 ticket before tip & tax for the same items. Offer Less items for more money doesn't seem right. PLEASE FIX THIS. The service is ALWAYS great, every staff member is phenomenal and remembers client rapport. Tyler and Janine are notably service acceptional. I would name the whole crew if I was capable. Thank you for providing my family and I outstanding service and food every visit.

The food and service was great. A great breakfast and awesome way to start your day. Really enjoy their breakfast and atmosphere. They have great teamwork among their staff... we will be back.

We live close by and love hopping over for a quick breakfast or special occasions before taking the kids to daycare. When on a timeline ask for the check and box right after ordering. I think a cup of coffee anywhere is a bad value (United your there for a while maybe), but I appreciate that they offered a togo cup for me. Love trying the specials and someone always gets an omelet!

    Avocado Benedict

Great atmosphere and food. I went for the avocado Benedict and it was amazing. Poached eggs inside of avocado halves topped with pepper jack cheese and pico di gallo. I got a side of the breakfast potatoes and they were delicious as well. They have a large selection of different flavored mimosas including passion fruit, mango, and more. I got the mango and loved it! Also we had a large table of 10+ people and one our waiter was amazing and handled everything perfectly!

It was topped with thick whip cream and sprinkled with cinnamon. Latte was ok, it was lacking on cinnamon roll taste. House Coffee Would have preferred it a bit hotter. Served with Peasant Potatoes or Grits. (Make it flavored pancakes). Eggs were ok, a bit runny on the whites for my liking. Bacon was ok. Potatoes needed some seasoning, they were just ok. Pancakes just ok, not sure whether handspun means. FRENCH TOAST $9.50 Our challah bread dipped in a rich custard batter, grilled to golden perfection and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The syrup as well had a hit of honey and came out warm. This just added the cherry on the top. Walnuts decorated the tops of the pancakes with a nice crunch and lift sweet taste. A lovely discrete treasure, a blessing to the South Charlotte food scene…read more This easy to find yet tucked away café was the best breakfast I've had in many years. The meal started off with an iced rosemary lavender latte crafted with their in house syrup made with cane sugar and fresh herbs. Rosemary and coffee has been a revelation to my palate and I'll be back for this alone. Which I will happily enjoy in this comfortable and cute dining area. Breakfast was made to order from fresh ingredients, piping hot and intentionally seasoned. As their bright and cheerful owner puts it, the main ingredient is love. And trust me, you can taste it. This is the first time in my two decades of eating tofu that I can actually shoutout how delicious it is. And the aromas coming of this photogenic waffle were mouthwatering. While Charlotte has become over run with corporate and copy cat restaurants, it is truly a thing of comfort to enjoy a delicious meal made by good people that care not only about what's on the plate, but who is eating from it. 6 stars

We didn't wait for too long for the table as people were just leaving. It took a bit for the waiter to come to our table and took even longer for him to get our food orders in, which we noticed he got the food orders in for the other tables with people who came in after us. This then lead them to getting their food before ours. I ordered the breakfast combo which came with 2 eggs, bacon, and waffle. I was a bit surprised that this place didn't have any chicken or turkey protein side options as I've seen is common with brunch places. I also got my eggs scrambled which, as you can see by the picture, came out as an omelette. When asking the worker about the confusion, he doubled down on it being scrambled eggs and even gossiped to his coworker about it as well. Upon the unfair wait and the egg situation, I will not be returning here again.

It can get quite busy and loud, so it's not the best place for an intimate conversation, and reservations can sometimes be difficult to get. That said, it's absolutely worth it. The menu changes regularly, so I try to visit whenever they announce a new one. Yesterday, we shared several small plates. The bacon-wrapped dates were phenomenal. I almost ordered a second serving before realizing we still had four other dishes coming! The chicken and waffles definitely satisfied my craving--crispy, savory, and full of flavor. The mushroom ravioli was also outstanding. We finished with the stuffed calamari, which reminded me of something my mom used to make when I was younger. It wasn't Asian-inspired like hers, but the concept brought back some wonderful memories. To top it all off, I enjoyed a delicious dessert while feeling pleasantly tipsy from the evening. I'd call that a win!
