I started doing SNS with her almost a year ago now for those of you who don't know what it is it's a powder gel nail polish much healthier for your nails then the gel you light cure. You don't need to put you hands under that light to harden the nail polish and it lasts much longer to chipping or peeling. This place is awful. I got my dip set done not even a week ago and three have already broken. Two have even broken my real nail which has NEVER happened to me in the years of me getting dip/acrylic. for the 1st time in over 10 years i had the most painful and upsetting pedicure, this woman was so rough, she cut my big toe nail so deep it split, she used gel to seal it together and she made me pay extra for the gel due to her fault, she used the callus hard scrubber on my legs causing them to be raw and bruised today, i didn't get a hot towel or stones which i paid extra for, the nail polish is all over my toes so sloppy, instead of lotion she put oil all over my legs, she used force grabbing my ankles to move them around and now i have bruises clearly showing her fingers piercing my skin, i called spoke to Steven the manager and refused to give me my 48.00 back and he said it doesn't matter if I file a complaint. i ended up filing a complaint breeze.ca.gov because no one should be treated like that read more

They really care about doing the best job possible. I have bad ingrown toenails and Cindi patiently, gently and carefully removes them every two weeks. She's my "go to" gal. I text her when I want to come in and she lets me know -even in the middle of the night. I also get dip finger nails done by the owner. Wow. They last longer than gel and are always perfect. Manicure, over the lap and rushed, still had dirt under my nails. When I asked about the scrub not being long enough, they all started (3) of them talking and laughing in vietnamese. Very rude. So I pulled up their yelp reviews and showed them how bad they are... they started talking again in vietnamese seemingly mildly concerned about the two stars, recent reviews...don't recommend them as they have no indication of having a desire to be professional. Just got 3 nails fixed and a fill-- the shape of two nails is COMPLETELY different; the top coat was applied unevenly and looks patchy/ streaky on some nails. You walk in and they ask you to sanitize your hands then after that then they take your temperature then if you pass then you sign the book I'll take You there usually they took me right away.The place is very clean and sanitize and people were six feet apart then did a great job Heather and Hien did a fantastic job. Pros: Helped us, my daughter and I, right away, we walked in no appointment. Lots of color choices. Some of the ladies where really friendly. They offered us drinks. The prices were listed on the wall and the little pedicure menu. Good leg massage. My pinky toe got messed up when she put my flip flop on and she fixed it right away. They were really good about making sure the temperature of everything was ok for me. Cons: I specifically asked the woman doing my pedicure not to cut down the side of my big toe nail because I get ingrown toenails easily...she did it anyway. My gel nails are kind of askew. I think this is becauae they were doing my manicure while they were doing my pedicure and I had to reach across my body with my right hand. Not a great foot massage. Could have been a little more agressive with the heel scrub but then again my feet were pretty bad. Some ladies did not speak English at all. We had to talk to 1 lady who translated to 2 others. I know they were talking about me in their language which bugs the crap out of me. My sister and I went there today. I asked for "soft white nails" or also known as "milky nails" and the lady that I got straight up told me "that's not going to look good, that won't look good". I said "ok well that's what I want" she stayed quiet for a few seconds and then told me "we don't do that here". Pure laziness! I would of respected her telling me she didn't know how or had one of the other nail techs do my nails. She then said "pick another color". I was upset at that point and asked for white tips. Not what I wanted but I did not want color. Upon check out she told me my nails would be $55, which I already knew she was going to overcharge me. That amount is not worth her work. I still tipped her $5 because I was there for about 45mins. At that point they hadn't even helped or taken my sister back. Beware of this place and know you will get overcharged if you go against what they want to do to your nails . I took my sister across the street to get her nails done after fancy nails took back 4 other people before acknowledging she was still waiting. We went to Bella Nails and omg they are so nice and helpful there! I asked if they did milky nails and they said yes absolutely. I booked my nail appointment with them in two weeks. Their work is a lot better and about $20-$25 less for the same thing I asked for! I didn't get the name of the woman who did my nails at fancy nails but she did have tattooed eyeliner that was a faded navy color. I'm currently going through a 3 month nail recovery due to horrific nail practices, apathy, and bad attitudes. I had one good experience getting a gel polish manicure, then went back and another very bitchy clinician refused to use remover solution to get the gel polish off and instead insisted on the filing dremmel. I should have pushed back. She went nearly through to my nail bed on several nails, which are now so thin the nails are painful and unusable. I may still report them but haven't wanted to put any energy into the place. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! read more

Wow ! I arrived to have my acrylic nails filled. After trying to be up sold a half dozen times, I was seated. The process began, after nicking my skin and burning my nail bed the lady began the application process. I stopped her and requested that ALL the nail polish that I came in with be removed prior to a new layer being applied. I have been going to Fancy Nails in Scotts Valley for years. I have never been 100% satisfied with the service as I feel like I'm being rushed out of there most of the time even if I request the most expensive pedicure. I keep going back as it's convenient due to the location and it's important to me to support local business. Plus their clean and I love their massage chair. I always tip at least 20% even if I'm not 100% satisfied just because I can imagine that it's a really tough job for multiple reasons. I just had the worst experience in my life. I took my Mom to get a pedicure today. We we're both seated right away, the sweetest lady started working on my Mom and continued until she was done. My Mom was happy with her experience. I was not so lucky! When I saw who was going to work on me I was a little worried as the last time I had this lady she was so rude to me. Regardless she still received a 25% tip the last time. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and didn't request someone else as I thought maybe she was just having a bad day the last time. Today she started working on me about 10 minutes after I was seated, she trimmed my nails and cuticles on one foot and then proceeded to take 2 other customers in front of me that came in while I was sitting there. She finally finished with them and came back to me. She kept stopping to look at her phone. She did this at least 6 to 7 times. She was really rough massaging my legs and ankles, so much so that I was almost in tears and my legs still hurt after almost 2 hours of leaving the place. I felt like she was angry with me for some reason. She didn't say one word to me. She finally started painting my toenails & then stopped to start working on another lady that had just sat down next to me. My Mom had been done for at least 45 minutes. I finally was out of patience. I politely asked if she was done with me even though I knew she wasn't at which time she came back to me rushed through putting the top coat on and place my flip flops back on my feet. I still gave a 25% tip to both ladies. I really wanted to give the lady that worked on my Mom all the cash I had, but in the spirit of forgiveness and the season I tipped them equally. After giving it some thought I decided to write a review so that the owner is aware of the service I received in hopes that it won't happen to anyone else. I went with a group of six girls and four of them had a pretty bad experience. I got a mani and spa pedicure. I chose a pale pink for my toes. The lady gave me two coats which were still translucent in some spots. She was "done" but I asked for another coat because I didn't want to leave and be upset about it. She seemed really unhappy about having to do another coat. I did no house work but my manicure chipped in less than 24 hours, which was disappointing bc I got them done for a wedding. The bride who also got a mani and pedi was cut very deeply with one of the tools. The woman was very apologetic and nice about it and gave her some of that liquid bandaid stuff, but it was still a bad experience. The lady who did my other friend's pedi messed it up while putting her sandals on and didn't fix it. They offered none of us drinks. read more

Not impressed. I have had plenty of Spa Pedicure experience. It started with room temp water, I asked for a "spa pedicure" which is 27$and you are supposed to get a scrub, massage, towels, a foot mask, and polish. Helen, who did my pedicure, didn't bother to even my nails across, I told her I didn't want short nails, so I understand leaving them a bit long, but she didnt make them straight! Then she left my cuticles dry, hours later, I can see the dryness around the toes. Also, when I. Asked for deeper exfoliation for my heels, she said,"we don't do that here" what? Seriously? For 27$ you should totally do that. The massage and foot scrub were almost non-existent, it wasn'tanything special or memorable. My daughter, who was next to me wanted a simple black design on her toe, she doesn't have tiny toes ( she's 13 and a tall girl) so when she showed "Tee" her picture I was surprised to have her say, oh we can't do that... I asked if there was someone else who could, she said no, its to complicated, but I. Pointed to some truely elaborate art work diplayed on some nails up front and asked for whoever did those, because her little black design was not anywhere close to that complicated, she still said no, can't do that...I offered to do it for her, and they wouldn't let me. Both mine and my daughter's massage chairs were, wierd we felt, uncomfortable. The massage rollers were in a weird position and rolled uncomfortably. I thought it might just be me, so I asked my daughter how her chair was....she said the same thing I thought! This is the first and last time I will ever go here. It was gross and dirty! I sat down at the table and there was still nail clippings from the last manicure. The UV heater was filthy inside and out. The ladies spoke very poor English so communicating with them was very difficult. Sadly disappointed. I tried fancy nails based on review from my hairstylist and the fact that the salon was open Sundays. That's the end of it. I never had such a short pedicure in my life! My daughter and I made an appointment for 11AM Sunday morning, they open at 11. We arrived at 3 minutes after 11 and there were already5 people in service, they clearly felt rushed and made another wait as we "had appointment" They ushered my daughter out of her chair even though there were many empty chairs, the did not pay any attention to the leg or foot massage and had my left toe bleeding from the cuticle trim! I am diabetic and this is a real concern! Overall! I will not go back. The service was poor. I will give them a good review for cleanliness , that alone is not enough , sorry. I love coming here. It's so relaxing and the girls working are always so kind. They always do such a good job on my manis and pedis. I have really sensitive feet and my big toe nails are kind of screwed up from years of soccer- and they always check to see if I'm in pain.
