Stumbled in here randomly when we had a craving for bubble tea a little later in the evening. Even though we made it in right before close the staff was super friendly and inviting. Bubble tea shops have been popping all over the place in the Portland metro area and this is one of the few places that stood out to me. The best boba place EVER! I've been around Oregon looking for the best boba ever and I think I found it. They have great decor using perler beads, that they make all in house. They also have a place to hang pictures of you and your pet which I think is adorable, and they also have tons of games to play with friends and your kids. They are still fairly new, which may shoo people away but let me tell you, I started going there during their soft opening, when they were trying to connect the pieces together and they always killed it there. The staff is friendly and gives great recommendations, the bubbles itself is always really soft and yummy, the Wintermelon milk tea or smoothie are my go to's. Whenever I get boba no matter how far I am, I will always go here first, they are open 7 days a week and they are the only boba place open past 10pm (so i've found so far). So if your in the Murray/Beaverton area, please stop by and give these guys some love because personally I think they are great!!! read more

Happened upon this happy little establishment with some friends and we all immediately knew we had found a new go to boba locaysh for life. The service was unreal and the dairy free slushes were so good that we went back and ordered two more flavors just to test em out. We went back the very next night and the service was just as good and the lovely man gave us free cajun fries. This has been the best boba experience of my life and the boardgames they have on tap are amazing and help create a homely and comfortable vibe. 20/10 recommend!!! read more

Adorable place! I really like the decorations inside + they also have board games. We stopped by yesterday for the first time and got a Lychee green tea w/mango jelly + chocolate smoothie w/pearls and we both enjoyed our drinks. My housemate went today and grabbed me a passion fruit slushy with lychee jelly which I did like the flavor but I'm just personally not a fan of slushees. The next drink I try would probably be a milk tea. So far I enjoy the green tea/fruit teas. read more

So I've given this place two chances, and I have to say I'm not impressed. I really really want to like this place and see it succeed because it's so close to my house. Both times I came the boba was super mushy and the drinks are wayyy too sweet. The first time I got a coconut milk tea and the tea was decent. Second time I got mango snow bubble because I didn't want caffeine, and I asked for half sweet. They told me they can't do that because it loses the flavor, so they lessened the sweetness a little. It was still too sweet. There are just too many good boba spots within a mile or two to settle for just decent. Again I really hope they improve because the location is great and the staff are great. I might give it another chance once they are done with the soft open. read more

i have been here two times already. i have tried three drinks here: mint milk tea, almond milk tea, and strawberry milk tea. they were very good !! i thought the mint milk tea was gonna be kinda bad but i liked it ! the almond milk tea was pretty good but it tasted a little artificial. the strawberry milk tea was better than the other strawberry milk tea i tried. it is kinda expensive. customer service is amazing and i love how they all are very nice. parking is also nice with lots of places to park. the area is pretty chill. there was lots of cool things there. also, i am lactose sensitive and every time i drink milk tea at other boba places, i get bad stomachaches but here i tried the milk tea and i don't get as bad of stomachaches. overall, i would come back here and try other drinks to see if they are good. i also recommend that you get less sugar because the boba is sweet !! read more

I personally never really liked boba because of the one at the mall. But when I tried this place it was amazing. I love the idea that you can sit down and relax unlike other boba places where it's more of an express line. With theirs selection there is a-lot of choices. Non tea base drink. Tea base drinks. Non caffeine and tea's with caffeine.Blended drinks and non. This place has it all. Hands down a five star boba place. The workers are very friendly. Really good customer service. They bring your drink out to you when you sit down. Just 5 out of 5. I think that the board games are just an amazing piece to this already amazing place. I would say tho it would help them if no pieces were lost and all game pieces were put back into the zip lock bags that they have. I feel as tho there bathroom is underrated people don't see how nice that bathroom really is. The sink with the light i have never seen before just a cool little attachment. Overall hands down a 5 star place. It overall feels very homie very clean the drinks are worth the money because they are extremely good. I like to try every bubble tea shop around, as I am obsessed with the stuff, and I have to say that this little place is my favorite, so far. They are really new, but their drinks are incredible. I have tried three different teas, and while they are pretty sweet, you can request to get any drink less sweet. The staff are always super friendly, and the shop is so cute. There isn't a whole lot of seating, so there is a good chance you'll have to get your bubble tea to go. And every time I have gone, they are really busy, so expect to wait a little bit for your drink (but it is worth it). I will definitely go back! A lot of flavors and options on their menu, as well as add-ins besides the tapioca balls. The traditional iced milk tea is a favorite. read more

I'm new out here and was trying to find nearby tea shops for when a craving hits. I visited a number of them before I came upon Fantastea, and, to me, they were the best for the flavors I enjoy the most, like almond milk tea, roasted oolong, and honey green teas. The featured flavor really stands out, whereas at some of the other tea shops I couldn't taste the flavor as well. When I wanted to return after the first visit, I couldn't remember the name and location since I'm new here and visited so many, but then I remembered the beaver in their logo and made my way back :) The people working there are very friendly and cheerful. read more

The best bubble test ever! First off Chelsy is amazing. Very friendly and ran the shop like a BOSS! Taking orders, making tea, bringing out food all with a smile on her face, controlled chaos at it's best! The lavendar milk tea is amazing and I don't typically care for lavendar flavored dri is because they taste perfumy. I typically don't like thai iced tea, but love it here. And when you mix the thai tea and lavender milk tea together wow! Love the mango slushie, peach slushie, but found the tropical to be my favorite which surprised me because I typically prefer peach and mango drinks and not something that has a banana flavor like this tropical one does, but it's now my favorite. i've come here a handful of times and just became aware of the ability to adjust the sweetness of the drinks yesterday. all other times i've come here, all my drinks were far too sweet, it was like sugar on crack and gave me the worst headaches. i appreciate the wide selection of drinks and the enthusiastic owner. other than that, i think it would be highly appreciated if they started asking their customers if they would like to adjust their sweetness. maybe it's just me, but i like to be reminded and asked if i'd like to adjust any levels since i forget that i am able to do so sometimes. read more

As an avid Bubble Tea drinker, I had to try Fantastea out. My first impression was the tucked away location, nearly hidden in the corner of the street. Walking in, the store was VERY clean, nearly sparkling. I received a plethora of greetings from the staff - even though they were busy with their work - which is always pleasant, and I began to review the menu. The menu itself is quite large, with an abundance of drinks to choose from, not to mention the sides. There's milk tea, smoothies, and even ice cream if you really want it. The staff was quick to assist me, answering any questions I had about the near overwhelming options I faced. I ended up choosing a Taro Milk Tea, with Boba for my topping. Alyssa, the barista that assisted me, was very cheerful, and crafted the drink expertly and with a smile. The drink itself was delicious, exactly what I was expecting. While a little on the sweet side, that can be combatted by requesting about 75% sweetener, taking the sweetness derived from the boba into account. Alyssa was fantastic, and even assisted in choosing from the multicolored straws. It's a very cute shop, with amazing workers. I am very new to boba tea so we decided to try and find a place that would have both good boba and good tea. Fantastea couldn't have been more perfect. The boba is perfect and the regular milk tea has a great tea flavor and rich milk. We always get the grape snow bubble with boba for our 3yo and he asks everyday if we can go get "bubble tea"! It's become a family weekend outing for us to come get tea and to play games with the little one. I also can't say enough about the owner and staff. Was driving around town and wanted my boba fix. There have been a lot of boba joints popping up around town lately (I'm so glad Portland finally caught on to the 2000s trend in LA, yes, I know, sarcasm). This one was great. Service was friendly and quick. The tea wasn't as sweet as you get at a lot of other places (that's a good thing), and the boba was chewy instead of "al dente" which you get at a lot of other places. There's only one size though. While it was perfect for that day, sometimes I just want a smaller serving. Oh well. I'll be visiting again whenever I'm in that part of town. read more

Customer service is great, there are a lot of cute things to look at and take pictures of. But the boba was too sweet for me, though I'm glad I got to choose 50% sweet on my drink. I'm not sure but the flavor tasted artificial to me, although still good. It's quite expensive in my opinion, but being in that location (a bit hidden from the main road) they might not get as many customers so understandable.
