They started about 10 minutes late but I got the full hour so that worked out fine. Jackie targeted my problem areas and used hot towels with great technique, also gave me some useful health tips for the future. They pleasantly honored my 20% Yelp check-in discount for spa newbies which I appreciate. I have been coming to Fantastic Spa for over 10 years and the staff has always been very accommodating, considerate, respectful and helpful. For the last year I switched to gel fill-ins and Amy has been doing them for me. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is incredibly talented and knows her craft well. She always listens to what I want or need and is more than skillful. My nails last 3 weeks!! I am so happy with the service I receive from Amy. Was not the relaxing experience I was looking forward to after the quarantine without pedicures for months! My cousin and I were looking forward to finally having a day of pampering. We got there about 7 minutes late from unexpected traffic - we spoke to them and told them we were on our way. We apologized but apparently he did not care. We were the last appointments of the day. When we got there the guy said veryyyy loudly and really put us on the spot how we are late and yelled for us to pick a color. We are not deaf - and it was rude. He then separated us to different rooms. I understand the new "guidelines" but if we come from the same house we can sit on the same side at least to talk. The process - yes process of getting a pedicure was rushed. My cousin skips the massage so it's always shorter time wise. Also, we both don't have a drying time so the 7 minutes is not a huge deal. In the end though we were not the last customers to leave. There were still two more women getting their nails done as we left! I will not go back to this location. Went for a powder gel manicure yesterday. At first everything was fine, my manicurist was a bit rough. She did not do my cuticles even though I asked. She stopped my manicure at least 6 times to make phone calls and send text messages. She pushed my neck so hard during the massage that I felt like a pigeon. 20 mins after I left I noticed cracks in the powder under the top coat. I went back today to have them fixed which they did fix but again the manicurist (different from the original) was extremely rough and made almost every one of my fingers bleed and again I have cracks in the polish. Horrible service horrible quality. Do not recommend if you want a relaxing and lasting mani. read more

I've been going to Fantastic Day spa on and off for years and always for manicures and pedicures. Most recently I started getting powder gel manicures since it's less damaging to your nails vs gel manicures. The first 2 times of getting powder gel it was great. The manicure lasted almost 3 weeks. The last 3 times the manicure would not last a full week. It was disappointing. The last time the polish was all around the edge of my nails. You can still get a good gel manicure here but they need to step up their game with powder gel. read more

Oh my god. Worst manicure and pedicure of my life and it set me back $80. The dude who did my nails shouldn't be allowed to do nails. He watched videos on his phone of snakes attacking kittens and was completely distracted while doing my nails. He totally obliterated my nail health. He used an electric file on my raw nails which was totally unnecessary and now they are frail and ruined until they fully grow out. Decided to come here because I ended up purchasing a Groupon for a massage and I'm happy I did. I've been to plenty of spas and have gotten many massages. I'm not going to say it's the best I've had but the service was great. The spa is joint with a nail salon and they offer a bunch of different services. The spa is very pretty inside and I love the decor. They seem to have a lot of loyal clients. Upon walking in I was greeted and brought to the spa side. They showed me where the lockers were and gave me a robe to change into. My masseuse was very personable and I enjoyed talking to her while she gave me my massage. I'm supposed to be coming back next week for another massage and I requested the same person. Her name is Jackie and I think she's great at what she does. I like that they have legitimate products like opi gel and gelish etc but the girl who did my nails did such a rush job it wasn't even funny. She was clawing at my cuticles with the nippers and literally glopping the gel polish on. I didnt realize until i left and went outside in the sun that she totally didn't cap my free edge and did such a sloppy polish job on top of the fact that the top coat isn't even covering my entire nail. There's no way this gel mani will last 2 weeks let alone one week. Never ever again especially not for the prices they charge. A lovely, warm, welcoming spa here in Bellmore! I am so glad that I know about this place, as it will be a place I return to when I visit. To give you a better idea, I'm a 30 year old performer, so I am always moving around. I am home for the holiday break, and my mother mentioned that she started going to this spa for massages. As a treat, we decided to go for a little mother daughter time. I live in New York City, and I like to think I've had my share of experiences with spas- this one is really lovely! I booked the Hot Stone Massage with Sara. We booked 90minutes ~ and it was 90 minutes of deep relaxation From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles, and warmth. The spa is located to the right of the nail salon which allows for quiet, and privacy. The physical space is calming with water trickling down the wall and low lighting. After filling out a client card, we were brought back to the changing area where you can lock up your clothes, and slip into a comfy robe and some gel sandals. Then Sara brought me into the massage room, which was dark, warm, and relaxing. The massage was perfect as we had one of the coldest days thus far in the season yesterday and the hot stones were incredibly healing. Sara checked in about pressure and temperatures - by the end I was so relaxed I was dozing off. After we finished, they offered us water and tea, which was so perfect and unexpected. I met my mom in the back where they have a quiet sitting room and we sipped on tea as we chatted about each of our experiences. It was the perfect evening. This review is for the SPA only. Which is the worst service per dollar and unprofessional place I've ever been to. I had a 100$ spa finder card and called ahead to see if they took it and they did. To which I scheduled a 100 worth massage. Went to the place and its look nice, I'll give them that. They took me into the room and starting working on my feet. After awhile I noticed the masseuse didn't do anything else so I asked them to work on my back. They told me the 100$ only covered the feet and not the whole body. If I wanted whole body it would be additional money. I said okay thats fine then they proceeded to ask me if I wanted swedish or deep tissue massage. The difference being deep tissue costs more. I asked for the swedish massage instead. The masseuse started to lightly brush my back literally like you're trying to apply sun tan lotion. I asked them to do it harder but they insisted that to go harder I needed to upgrade to deep tissue massage for more $$$. Not wanting to ruin what was left of my massage I agreed. Halfway through management stuck its head in and said that they placed me in a couples room and now needed to switch me to another room for a couple that just came in! They gave me a robe and I waltz out and had to take my clothes to another room. HOW TERRIBLE IS THAT? HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT? At the end paying for the bill it was much more than the 100$ card and they asked for tip as well. In the end the massage cost around 148$ with tax and tip. Thats way too much for the crap service they provide. WHOEVER IS READING THIS PLEASE: Please go to my original spot. Classic Spa on bell blvd in Queens. I know you from long island and it seems far but the extra 20-30 minute drive is worth it. It's 35$ for an hour massage and 30 minute foot rub. And they won't pester you about upgrading services. Came here last minute for their Spa Week deals. I decided to treat myself to all of their services that they were offering at a discount. I booked a swedish massage, european facial and spa pedicure. The massage was horrible, the lady I had did not know what she was doing at all. She was too rough at times and too soft at other times. She was pulling and twisting me up alot and it wasn't good at all. The facial was a little better. The products they used were good and the place is extremely clean. The decor is relaxing and there is plenty to eat and drink here. The lounge is nice as well. The reason why i'm giving them a 3 star instead of a 2 star is bceause of my spa pedicure!!!! This was one of the best pedicures hands down I have ever had in my life. I was brought into a private room in the back with only 2 pedicure chairs though I was the only one back there. This is my favorite spa place! I've tried other places during spa week(s) for the past 5 years but after I found this one, I've been coming here since. The staff is super friendly and as soon as you walk in (through the nail salon side) they'll greet you, have you sign up (they send you an amazing birthday coupon and monthly deals), then direct you to the lockers where you can change into a robe and slippers. I usually come here for the massages. I like my massages hard with extra pressure cuz I usually have knots on my shoulders and back so I like it that the girls are very strong lol. This past weekend I had a microdermabrasion facial. It was my first time getting one of those.. gotta admit the process hurt a bit, but my tech was so nice to explain everything and she tried to be very gentle. My face does feel smoother after 2 days (gotta let the skin heal a bit) and plan on doing it again before summer. I have also gotten manis and pedis here. The nail salon side is very big and clean! I love the pedis! You just feel so relaxed on those chairs which have curtains on the side in case you want some privacy! I recently got a gel mani (after my facial) and I loved it! Came here for a massage & facial with my friend，i saw there establishment on Google, I called in to make a reservation and Im glad that i found this salon! They clarified absolutely everything. From start to finish. accommodating with the price. We got a confirmation call the day before, which is great. Not most facilities do that. The second we got inside we were greeted by Ladie, one of the masseuse. She sked if we wanted to use the restroom and brought us right inside our romantic room. This review is only for the nail services side as I did not have any spa services done during my visit. Pricing for nail services is very reasonable and matches the area pricing (i thought they might charge a bit more for basic services since it's a spa but this is not the case!!) I was very unimpressed the color gels were sloppy painted onto boards and looked horrible (it looked like a child painted the samples) although they had may color gel options & different brands (OPI, Gelish, PM, etc) I was turned off with their presentation and decided on regular polish. I found it weird too that certain gel color brands cost more than other (some were $25 some $30) i don't think I have seen that elsewhere. Acrylic fill-in service was good, nail tech listened to my requests and gave me a great nail shape exactly what I wanted. She was friendly and worked quickly. I only gave 3 out of 5 stars because I was shocked by how messy the salon was. There was stock (paper towels, bottles, etc) everywhere! And dust everywhere from the acrylic (on the tvs, tables, decor like vases). My tech didn't do a great job of cleaning it after she was done at the station either. She had a special fan that I have seen at salons for the acrylic dust but even that had dust on top of it! Decor was nice and relaxing colors on the walls and quiet light music but the messiness really turned me off. Although price and acrylic fill-in was good I don't know if i'll be back. read more

I love this place. I have a standing appointment with Arling every 2 weeks. I only have to wait afew minutes if she's with someone else. She is so efficient and quick. My powder gel is done in an hour!! Never happens anywhere else! She always remembers my preferences. ARLING GETS 5 STARS. Sometimes I feel that the spa itself doesn't coordinate well so they get 4.
