Roast pork belly
Tiffany D.

For Cantonese food in Petaluma, this place is pretty legit! They have the BBQ meats hanging and that's when one knows, the Cantonese food will be pretty authentic. Even though it's next to a Quick shop seemingly looking like a 7/11, he interior decor of this restaurant, is well decorated for Chinese new year and clean for the most part. Their roast pork belly is tender and skin is extra crunchy. Do order their Lobster noodles! The lobster is superbly fresh and they even have the tank displaying the seafood! It's delicious and well worth the $30. My husband likes Westlake beef soup and it was on point. Their fresh steamed soy sauce fish was $60 per pound, which is way overpriced. It was probably priced that way because of CNY! We opted to just get their sea bass steamed collar. It was on the chewy side. I would skip it or order it another way like maybe in the clay pot. They have a sport's tv screen playing which helps with the ambiance as well as a screen of food photos next to the entree names, which was helpful! Service was attentive. They charge for tea. One can't be picky since this is the only Cantonese restaurant that is pretty authentic for this neighbor. They even had roast duck, beef stew daikon clay pot, bitter melon entree, bbq pork chopped to order, hot pot and etc. roast duck was a bit overrated. I've had better. Overall, if one is craving for authentic Cantonese food in Petaluma, go here!

I ate there Christmas Day with my daughter. Their food is addicting. Ate here with a friend today. We had sizzling prawns and scallops, steamed sea bass collar and vegetarian chow fun. Everything was delicious, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and crisp, the scallops were the best I ever had in a restaurant and the sea bass collar was so delicate and tasty. Can't wait to try other new dishes from their extensive menu. Service was warm and attentive. The restaurant is so clean and attractive and authentic,

The hot pot experience was above average overall. The broth had good flavor, though it wasn't anything especially memorable, and the ingredient selection was solid but fairly standard.

Great food and generous portions! The bbq pork won ton soup was huge and had a very generous portion of bbq pork; egg rolls were perfect and the xlb Shanghai soup dumplings were delicious! As usual, I over ordered! But leftovers were good next day

hot and fresh! taken on Sunday 01/19/2025 right when they open at 11:30 AM.

I got the BBQ port and roast port belly and salted fish with chicken fried rice take-away. I arrived at 11:30 AM on Sunday and they opened right on time. the BBQ meats are fresh and hot, not leftovers from the day before. Food taste authentic and spot on with Hong Kong style cooking. I am impressed. I wish they would open also restaurant in my home town of Concord. I will return next time i'm in Petaluma.

Had a great lunch today. The server was very attentive. The roast pork was marvelous - crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. The stirred fried beef Ho Fun was flavorful. The salted fish and chicken fried rice was tasty. Each grain of rice was coated deliciously.

I wanted hot pot, but I learned it's only served for dinner. So take note if that if you are looking for the same. I stayed and ordered one of their specials. It was the sea bass collar with tofu in clay pot. The brown sauce with the tofu was my favorite part of this dish. The BBQ pork buns were yummy! I recommend them!

Hot pot. Napa cabbage. Egg noodles. Leak flower sauce.

I was so happy to find a place that does hot pot in Sonoma county! And the food is amazing. The front is a little hard to see initially but once you're inside it's clean and well kept. We went for the spicy soup, I've tried mild and medium and would recommend going mild unless you're a big spice fan. This trip we got the premium tender beef, supreme lamb shoulder and tiger prawns (deveined but not de-shelled). The PT beef is definitely my favorite, then the lamb. Sliced pork is great too! For 2 people we got 3 meats, 3 veggies and 2 noodles (could have done with 1 noodle) and both ate our fill of everything. Don't forget to order sauces for dipping! The service is great! A little on the slow side at times. But the quality of the food definitley makes it worth it.

Egg Noodle Won Ton Soup with and without BBQ Pork

We were excited to see that there was a local hot pot place. However, we didn't see anywhere that they only offered it at dinner time but we made the best of it. As this was our first time we tried a little of everything. We sat at a large round table which was fine for the 5 of us. Except we were right next to the lobster tank and it was pretty loud. It made conversation difficult if you weren't sitting right next to someone. The salt and pepper pork chops were lightly battered and fried. Great crisp to them and cooked perfectly. The BBQ Pork egg noodle soup has broth that was so flavorful and the texture of the won tons were great. We will definitely be ordering both of those dishes again. The roast pork had great texture and some pieces had more flavor than others. However, it was on the edge of being cold which for something that has such high fat content was almost an unpleasant texture in your mouth. The beef chow fun had good flavor and the meat was tender for the most part. But that is where the greatness for us stopped. The other dishes were lack luster. Either lacking in flavor or (in the case of the sesame chicken) the meat was dry and hard to chew. The Shrimp fried rice was beautiful to look at but lacked flavor overall. The short rib clay pot was tough.

Decent Cantonese BBQ in a small community. As a Chinese lived in Canton for 4 yrs, I think this place is good enough. Keep it up.

I put 3 star now because of their raised price and $4 for just a cup of regular tea is little too much.

Located on Lakeville Highway, just east of Hwy 101, it would make a good place to stop for a nice lunch or dinner. I was there on a warm Saturday, at around 11:30 am. The dining room has a contemporary asian decor. The AC kept the air cool and comfortable. There's several 2,4, and 6 seat tables. Just before lunchtime, the place was 1/3 full with customers. I was seated along the wall. I was offered a menu, and choice of hot tea or ice water. I asked for chopsticks, because the place setting had a fork. I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch plate w/ fried rice. Also, I asked for an order of (Lightly Breaded) Fried Prawns. Service was excellent. My waiter was very attentive, and served my food as soon as it was ready. He told me if there were any delays. I didn't have to ask for anything. The Fried Prawns were large and plump. They were served with various sauces to choose from. The Mongolian Beef lunch plate had a nice presentation. The portion size was fair. The fried rice was moist, and blended well with the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was spicy and tasted just right. Hot 'n Sour soup came with the lunch plate. Lily Kai's recipe for hot 'n sour soup is a little different than what you might get in most other chinese restaurants. They make it with alot of mushrooms. The familiar flavor was there, but it lacked several expected ingredients. Well, as long as it tasted good, I'm okay with it. ----------------------------------------------- So I had a great first time experience here. The plaza has a free shared parking lot. There's a Starbucks Coffee shop in the same plaza. Also, this place is down the street from the Kaiser Medical Offices. Also, they have clean and large restrooms. The tea was strong, so when it was poured over the ice, it was perfect! The lunch included hot & sour soup. The Mongolian Beef lunch plate was presented with a balance of Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice. A fried won ton skin tops it off. Very good food. Very attentive service. Free 2nd glass of iced tea. It didn't appear like they have AC, since all the doors were open. This restaurant looks new on the outside, but looks "old-school" on the inside. The chunks of tomato, bell pepper and onion were in small bite sized pieces. Perfect for eating with chopsticks. The sauce was tangy and lightly sweet. What was missing was the "Wok Hei."
