I will never go here again…read more I placed a takeout order and my husband picked it up. The restaurant gave him the wrong order and we did not realize it until he got home. To make matters worse, they charged us for that order instead of the one I had actually placed, which ended up being almost double the cost. When I called to explain what happened, communication was a major issue from the start. Instead of helping resolve the mistake, the woman I spoke with immediately blamed my husband for taking the order that was handed to him from behind the counter. I explained that I was not asking for a full refund, only for the charge to be adjusted to match the order I had originally placed. The conversation then got even more weird. She asked why I had sent my husband to pick up the food instead of going myself and told me, "That's how it works in the States." I was shocked by the comment. I was home taking care of sick kids, why does it matter who picked it up?She also told me that if I did not drive the 10 miles back to the restaurant, I would not receive any adjustment. When I tried to explain the situation again, she hung up on me. I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Being given the wrong order was frustrating, but being blamed for it, spoken to disrespectfully, and then hung up on was far worse. This was one of the rudest customer service experiences I have ever had.

Once inside it was a quaint little spot, nice and quiet. Being new to the area and not feeling my best, I was craving a good, hot soup. After a quick search, I came across Asian Noodle House--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. The woman who helped me was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better by chatting with me while I waited. That kind of genuine hospitality definitely makes you want to come back just to say hi. The food did not disappoint either. The pork egg rolls were delicious--crispy and full of flavor. I ordered the brisket pho, and the broth was rich, comforting, and exactly what I needed. It really hit the spot. The Egg Rolls were greasy, with a soggy, uninspired vegetable filling, while the Chicken Corn Soup, despite plenty of corn kernels and egg bits, was surprisingly bland; both sweetness and bits of chicken were missing. These appetizers set a disappointing standard, highlighting the poor quality and lack of flavor that defined the entire meal. Unfortunately, the entrees did not improve matters. The major disappointment was the entrees. There was not a single container of rice. The Moo Goo Gai Pan arrived swimming in a white sauce, accompanied by the standard chicken slices, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and snow peas, along with surprises of zucchini, broccoli, and chewy geriatric diced "baby corn." While Moo Goo Gai Pan is supposed to taste subtle, this version lacked even basic flavor.
