Looks pretty good. Tastes like microwave dinner though.

As a small business owner, I really try not to give low stars unless it's pretty bad. I even have came back and changed some if I give them a 2 nd chance. Back to the food. Bottom line is it sat there for a very long time. The orange chicken was gross and I have never threw away any Asian food in my life until today. I am hoping it's just because it's a mall location and if I go outside of the food court, I'll be more impressed. The cook looked like he was making fresh food at the time so maybe bad timing on my part. The young cashier guy also looked like he was on something other than great customer service skills, but it is the mall so I'll let that go as well. 2 stars because I actually liked the teriyaki chicken, even with it being old.

Even the broccoli is old and tasted old

Iam so disgusted! They have no chicken that is not deep fried and sweet! They have no vegetables! There choices were few! There is so little at az mills food court that is kid friendly and good for you and not sweet. The choices are ridiculous! We used to eat at the Asian type food places quite often at az mills. Now never since Villa took over!!!!!!

    Egg roll and noodles.

Wanted to grab a quick bite before a movie. Panda express I never have an issue with so I don't see the difficulty here. Orange chicken was blande. Noodles were so overcooked and mushy I didn't touch them, and my egg roll was blonde and undercooked to the point you could taste grit in the roll. Not happy. Won't be back. Should have known better in the food court.

a close - up of a meal in a styrofoam container

The guy who was serving us was not pleasant. There was no smile, horrible presence. Thank god he wasn't cooking. The food is very dry. I got the sesame chicken and it was hard as a rock. Adding the sweet and sour sauce made the meal appealing. A sauce they don't even make. Sad. Won't order from here again. Disappointing.

Rude service. No water was given even though we spent $30. The food amount is small and doesn't taste that good.

Orange ginger chicken was decent enough, kinda dry though. The "fried rice" was AWFUL!

Maybe it was a good day, or something but I got half fried rice, half lo mein, sesame chicken and orange ginger chicken.

Wow, it did not disappoint--this place is legit delicious! I went with the Swiss & Shroom MeltBurger (mushroom burger) and customized it by swapping the Swiss for pepper jack cheese, adding ranch, and drizzling on that spicy buffalo sauce. Holy cow, it was a home run! The burger literally melted in my mouth, super juicy and packed with flavor--one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. The angus-wagyu blend shines through, and the toppings took it to another level. The ordering process was super simple and modern--I loved the big touchscreen kiosks that made customizing easy and quick. No hassle at all. They have some unique soda flavors I've never tried before, which was a fun surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. Bonus points: the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which always matters to me. This jumps straight to my #2 burger spot overall (Shake Shack is still king in my book, but The Melt is giving it a serious run for its money with that melty, juicy goodness). I'll definitely be back soon--highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Tempe. You won't regret it! 5 stars all the way.

That crunch? Absolutely elite. The kind that you hear before you even taste it. I also tried the fried seafood, and I have to shout out how impeccably clean the restaurant is -- no lingering seafood smell at all, which says a lot about their standards. Everything tasted fresh and made-to-order. I went during lunch and scored a great deal, which made it even better. Service was impressively fast considering everything is prepared fresh. If you're craving bold seasoning, perfect crunch, and comfort-food energy done right, this place delivers.

Tina brought all the vibes, she was so welcoming with a huge smile. I immediately liked the place. Each person in our group ordered something different. I shared the shrimp and swai fish meal with my daughter because the portions are huge. The batter was crispy, reminding me of how my southern grandma used to fry hers. I have no clue how they get it so crispy without any grease! It was so tender, and the flavors were definitely there. We also enjoyed the fries and the coleslaw and both were delicious! I really like the seasonings they use. The best part was that after finishing, we didn't feel that "heaviness" you sometimes get from fried food, because you know we were talking about that too. We also really enjoyed the banana pudding! Also the music was on point, we were singing the whole time we ate. Food- Was a Solid 4.5 Service - on a scale of 1-5 it was a 10!! lol Even though it's a 35-minute drive for us, we will definitely be back. Thank you for the kindness and the delicious food!
