The delay was excessive and ultimately forced us to leave as soon as the food arrived, leaving us to hastily eat a few bites from the styrofoam to-go containers rather than enjoy them as intended. Given the $160 price point, the experience fell well short of expectations, making it difficult to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Neither of us had been here, but a friend recommended we go. It was on my list of restaurants to try so I was more than happy to go! We were served by Shannon. Shannon had such a wonderful sense of humor telling my husband no phones or watches at the dinner table he also kept the bread coming. Like I said, it was a full house so we were eating bread for a while. It was so worth the wait though. My husband got the benedito's farfalle since his favorite pasta is bow tie and I ordered the Rigatoni alla Nino. Mine was delicious and the perfect amount of spicy. The salmon was UGH. Chef's kiss, but my husband's order? I WOULD GET THAT TOO. He ate two baskets of bread though. Lucky for me. I told him he better ask for the rest of his to go because it will have my name written all over it! I was so close to finishing mine but alas, I was too full. Luckily not full enough because we got this dessert. This secret dessert lol what a show. It was made at our table. (I love when restaurants do this) it looked like vanilla bean ice cream with amaretto, a sauce I couldn't tell what that was, and sliced almonds. I am sure I'm missing other ingredients but HOLY COW. I had been a few times in the past but it was my family's first time. I don't drink alcohol and they have a great mocktail section! I got the NOPE-rol Spritz, it was delicious! My family and I split the white truffle fries and ciabatta as appetizers and they all got pasta dishes that they loved. I got a pizza (the Arugula) and unfortunately I feel as though I ordered wrong (which was my own fault), I didn't really care for it. When you took a bite it was like all the toppings fell off on the first bite. I think they cut the pizza before putting the toppings on which just made it harder to eat. I think the best part of the night was the service. We had Grace as our waitress (she was training another girl, but unfortunately I don't remember her name). They did a fabulous job - Grace did a wonderful job training her! It felt like we were at one of the more elevated Napoli's like Napoli III. They were so attentive and gave us great suggestions. It was served with 2 sauces (one marinara and one aioli - both were excellent). Don't skip the fried lemons, they are an added treat. Then we had the special pizza of the evening, it was a black garlic base (not strong) with mushrooms and burrata on top - delicious. We also happen to be sitting next to the area with the pizza oven - a must see if you are there. We did sit inside, but outdoor seating was available. What might not be so familiar, but I thought was great, was a more casual atmosphere, and decor, I would classify is as upscale casual. Our server was very pleasant, the only thing that surprised me was the time in between courses seemed a bit longer than expected, but that gave my friends and I a chance to catch up. I ordered the penne ronzio (I haven't tried…read morethis before and it came with bechamel sauce so) and it tasted okay, I guess I don't really have much to compare it with but it was decent pasta. The portions were huge (I wish they could have an option to get half of the amount). Service was great, staff was nice and gave us bread for the table. She also came to check in on us a bunch of times. The restaurant itself is tiny so it gets loud and crowded. Getting into the lot was a bit tricky though so watch out for that. Would most likely come back and try the other food but maybe not any time soon.

While it's still good, I think the portion sizes have decreased from past visits. Take out containers are good quality and the food is decent quality too. While I hope this set up is successful, I'm hopeful they go back to a full service restaurant.
