First off Pietro was our server, he was great! Very efficient & friendly too. He was quite busy but we got everything we asked for quickly. All of the food was outstanding, very fresh, very well seasoned and good portions. The cocktails were also good portions, very well made and we really enjoyed our time in this beautiful and clean restaurant. Definitely going back soon! If I could give more stars I would!

Interesting spot, the food was actually really good, but the service was kind of mediocre. The ambiance was pretty nice, I particularly like their outside covered area (if it's not too windy). The pizza tasted very fresh and delicious, not a huge portion size either, a perfect starter or shareable dish for a few people. The that the couple of pastas we tried were pretty good too, but I forgot to take pictures and don't remember exactly which ones we ordered (faceplam). The main issue was the waiters didn't seem to come around much, and generally the service was a little slow even though they weren't busy, but trying to cut them a little slack and rounding up on my review. 3.5 drove to Westlake as my dad wanted to eat here and I was treating him. Nice restaurant. Service was awesome . I personally, was not super impressed by the food but my dad loves it. This is one of his favorite restaurants. We sat outside but there's seating inside too. Plenty of parking .

it's been a while since i've had good italian food. Farfalla really hit the spot and surprised me...started off with the promenade salad. love the crispy prosciutto (wish there was more)...then for my entree, i had chicken marsala with veggies and a side of pasta with garlic and oil. The marsala sauce was amazing.. One sister had chicken parm which was HUGE portion and the other sister had the salmon farfalle which was also tasty. Finished off with their tiramisu which was made in house and you can tell.

I'm not surprised by the recent reviews because I had my own odd happy hour experience here on my first visit. I stopped by while running errands and saw a door sign advertising 40% off happy hour from 3:00-6:00. That being an amazing discount, I asked the hostess where happy hour applied and was told the bar, two-seat high tops, or the community table (larger tables are reserved for big parties). Outdoor seating gets 30% off. I chose the bar. I ordered a starter from the Mozzarella Bar menu and the Orecchiette Pugliesi for my entrée. The portions were generous and delicious, so I asked for to-go boxes. That's when things got strange. The bartender warned me that I'd asked for "too many" to-go boxes and said he normally would have to charge full price for both dishes. He explained, since I was new, he was "teaching me" the happy hour rules. I don't understand why these rules aren't clearly explained upfront. Many 2026 Yelp reviewers mention the same confusion. And the bread--just to be clear--it's not complimentary. It's $3, which also comes up often in reviews. What's most frustrating is that the owners don't seem to respond to any of this feedback, nor have they clarified their policies anywhere. I averaged out the star rating... 2 for the weird happy hour rules and 5 for the food and portion size so... 3 stars.

This place sucks now. The food was disgusting. The service was horrible. They dropped my friends hamburger on the floor and then they came back one minute later with the same hamburger and tried to say that it was a new hamburger. The bun they came back with was the same bun that fell on the floor. Very disgusting. Management is unprofessional. This place has gone downhill and is not the same restaurant I used to enjoy.

We went to this restaurant for date night and live in the area. The ambience was loud, and we were sat by the kitchen so runners were constantly coming in and out and delivering food. Our waiter unfortunately messed up my drink order as well, but I was fine with drinking what was given to me. Pasta was delicious, I added chicken but it was a little dry.

The menu is on a small iPad so you can click on a picture a see what the menu item looks like. I liked this feature so I knew exactly what I was ordering. We decided to order the crispy cauliflower, the short rib hummus dish, and baba's chicken. The crispy cauliflower was delicious. I liked the sauce and crispy chickpeas that came with it. We really enjoyed the short rib with the hummus and pita too. The meat was tender and the combination of the flavors was excellent. Baba's chicken was amazing. It was better than I expected. The flavor of the chicken with the couscous and carrots was great. We would get all of these items again. We ended the meal with the chocolatine dessert. This was one of the best desserts we've ever had. The warm chocolate Crossiant bread pudding with the horchata ice cream on top was perfection. I loved the little detail of the sprinkled honeycomb. As pescatarians, we found the menu somewhat limited. While the food was competently prepared and attractively presented, it did not justify the final bill of $213.77. The meal began with a complimentary amuse-bouche of burrata cream on watermelon tasting which was elegant and flavorful, but small. For starters, we ordered the Hamachi, Salmon Tartare Tacos, and Smoked Trout Toast. Each dish had an interesting concept, but none stood out. The salmon and tartare were ground so finely that they lacked the texture and freshness we expected. For our entrées, we had the Tomato & Burrata and the Sea Bream. The sauce accompanying the burrata was excellent and was the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the sea bream itself was slightly overcooked. We also tried two non-alcoholic drinks: a hibiscus mocktail and a lychee lemonade. Both were pleasant but unremarkable. For dessert, we ordered the peach galette and the chocolate dessert. They were nicely presented but tasted average. The chocolatine contained croissant bits. Given the restaurant's prices, we expected desserts to be better curated and with memorable flavors. Instead, they reminded us of supermarket-quality desserts. Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service, but the food did not live up to either the presentation or the price. We'd consider returning for the atmosphere, but not for the value.

A recently turned 21 year old with no experience or even your middle-aged neighbor who you know is an absolute Lush now that she's retired will likely go to a Drug store like Rite Aid or CVS to get their weekly supply. Word on the streets is, they have amazing boxed wines ;) "I'll take a glass of your finest Franzia Cab." A busy Mom of 3 will probably pick up a bottle of her favorite "red"... And you know Stella Rosa is at the top of her list. I mean, might as well treat herself when she gets home after knocking out the bi-weekly grocery run. Am I right? Then there is always that one college kid on his way to a house party who for sure is going to stop at his local liquor store to grab a 30-pack so he can prove that he is once and for all, The Beer Pong King to all of his friends and that one girl he has been so desperately trying to impress. Best of luck my man! Or what about that recently remarried Dad who loves a good deal on wine and wants to stock up for that upcoming wine mixer that his young new bride wants to throw for this weekends Labor Day Soirée. I mean, Kirkland Signature Label has got to be legit right? I hear they also make a very tasty dog food as well ;) Just teasing ya Costco... I still love you. And finally, there's that one store, the museum of all things Alcohol. You know, The Total Wine's of the world. I remember my first time stepping into this place, and I was in awe. Aisles and Aisles and more Aisles of every spirit, liqueur, wine, or beer you can possibly imagine. But as impressive as all of this is, it's a bit overwhelming and it can be difficult making a clear choice with so many damn options to choose from. And then..... There. Was. One. Agoura Wine & Beer This space is refined, elegant and is welcoming to all who enter. With only one aisle that is lined floor to ceiling with both local and regional wines, & of course a small selection of craft beers, there is no doubt that you will find something here that you will love. Questions? Need a recommendation?? Still wondering the difference between Petite Sirah and Syrah aka Shiraz??? Yeah, me too. Well there's no need to wander aisle after aisle looking for someone to assist you like the other places above. Just ask one of their friendly staff who will be happy to help guide to what you are looking for. Wait!! What is that at the end of the store? Wine tasting? Beer sampling??... Move out of the way kids, Daddy needs to check this out. Yes, they have a small bar top in the back and a patio out back where you can wine taste or have one of their rotating beers on tap. (Sorry, no one under 21 in the back area, but hey, that's ok, we all need a little adult time). They do have a few packaged small bites available, but feel free to bring outside food. (there are a few nice eateries in the same Whizin's shopping center; my vote is for Two Doughs Pizza!) So... To my Conejo Valley and Adjacent locals who are looking for a little more intimate wine purchasing experience whether on Domestic or Imported Wines or even local craft beers... I say, come check out Agoura Wine & Beer. Have a nice glass of wine or a hefty pour of beer and then get some one-on-one time with of of their staff who can recommend a bottle or two or even three to bring home to enjoy later. Pro Tip: If they happen to ask you, what is your favorite kind of wine, for the love of God, please don't say "boxed". Instead... 1) Say your varietal. (Cab. Pinot, Chenin Blanc, Burgundy, etc.) 2) If you don't know that, at least throw out a color (white/red/rosé) 3) heck, throw out your favorite vintage, maybe they have the "good stuff" in the back. So, who's ready to go wine/beer shopping? I'll be waiting by the bar!
