The host and other staff also kept checking in on me and the other customers. Food: Delicious. The branding of Cowboy Tex-Mex caught my eye and it didn't disappoint. I loved the gravy and my meal was excellent. Originally there was a mixup and I received the wrong meal, but they quickly fired my actual order and it was delicious. If I hadn't had certain food restrictions, I probably would have had them package that one for me to eat later. I don't know how much traffic this place sees but it is at the top of my Tex-Mex spots in Spring that I've found since moving here. I honestly hope to become a regular.

I am a picky person when it comes to margaritas and their premium Rita was very good. My husband tried their horchata Rita and he really loved it. The kids order was perfect size and price. We will definitely be visiting this place again and I'm letting my friends that live close by to them know about them as well. The ambience was perfect, good music playing and they had the FIFA game on so we were able to watch the Uruguay vs Spain game. Great night!

The tequeños were definitely the highlight for me and honestly some of the best I've had in Houston. The pork belly wasn't really my favorite, but everything else on the sampler was very enjoyable. For the main dishes, I tried the Crazy Cow Burger along with the Smoke Barrel Picanha, and both were excellent. The meats were flavorful and cooked really well. I also had their passion fruit drink, which tasted very fresh and refreshing. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu.

As for the food, it was just okay overall. The burgers were definitely the highlight--they were cooked well and tasted great. I had the cheeseburger, and while it was good, what surprised me was that fries don't come with the burger. They're a separate $3-5 add-on depending on whether you want plain or seasoned fries. The fries themselves were good, but it would be nice if they were included with the meal. The parrancha steak seemed a little overcooked and didn't have much flavor, and the coleslaw wasn't really my favorite. I also wasn't a fan of the pork rinds they bring out to snack on before the meal. Personally, I'd much rather have chips or another lighter appetizer. Pork rinds on top of a burger and fries just felt like overkill. Of course, food is subjective, and this is just my personal opinion. While I wasn't a huge fan of the menu overall, others may absolutely love it. The service and ambiance were definitely the strongest parts of the experience. Overall, I'd give Bogados 3 out of 5 stars. Great atmosphere and excellent service, but the food just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, it may end up being your new favorite spot--you never know until you try it for yourself.

Every dish feels intentional -- properly seasoned, well executed, and made with clear attention to detail rather than shortcuts. The service is equally strong. Sadly, it closed shortly after my visit. But I read in the reviews that this was formerly a Burrito District, so I didn't even realize this was the former Ori'Zaba's until I walked in. So apparently this spot has struggled to keep one concept for whatever reason. The interesting thing about Wise Street Eats is that you can opt to build a healthy bowl with Greek inspirations, or you can do what I did and order the Dirty Mac bowl with fried chicken, mac-n-cheese and cajun fries. I'm a real sucker when restaurants put "Most Popular" on their menu, which made my decision to order this, a quick one. What I will say is that, while I enjoyed the Dirty Mac, in retrospect, I would have preferred if it was a side dish, rather than my entire meal, because it was quite heavy (as one would expect). About halfway through it, I realized I was going to have to bring the energy to take down this valiant opponent. Next time, I'll build a bowl. Or maybe even go with a burger. But I do appreciate the dirty mac and if I was still a man who got hungover, I'd consider it a pretty elite hangover remedy.

You don't need brunch, you don't need offered from other cuisines, if you're going to try one item here let it be the pita. Actually, they have a good size menu and have some American options along with juices and smoothies so It made ordering easy. They also have a full bar with several cocktails and mocktails. Inside right when you enter is the actual bar with about 6 seats which were full with customers during my entire visit. Their happy hour ends at 6pm, but I arrived at 7pm so I ended up missing the discounted drinks. I ordered the cod and shrimp pita which ended up being slightly different than the regular gyro. I had to set it down after a couple of bites since the wheat pita bread is much thinner than regular pita bread and it kept falling apart on me. I also added a mango mojito. With a name like Island Grill, I sort of expected to see more tropical drinks or rum-based cocktails show up on the menu, but this was about the only one. Overall, my experience was okay, but I don't know if it was good enough for me to return.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

We were seated in a booth that felt quite cramped for a business meeting. Next time, we'd likely request a more open, well-lit table. We ordered several dishes, but the Chilean sea bass was disappointing. It was dry, lacked the buttery texture it's known for, and was quite bland. We also requested a side of hot sauce, but that request was overlooked. To end the meal, we planned to order coffee and toffee instead of dessert. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, we were told the coffee machine had broken. Unfortunately, by then the server seemed eager to wrap things up and didn't really give us the opportunity to consider any other after-meal options. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we can see why it's popular, but the food execution and service fell short of our expectations, especially for a business lunch. We hope these issues were just an off day, as we'd like to give it another chance.
