Came here for their goat and halal meats. Goat, mutton, chicken was what u ended up buying and a few grocery items. Next door their Pakistani Restaurant is good too. Order was taken fast but the wait for the foods take some time. Got myself a mutton wrap. Told the lady who took my order recommend me no spicy dish. Since I don't make the Super King Saturday morning run anymore, we have reverted back to Pak Market for our Animal Protien needs. What we like about this place: They have a good selection of Halal Chicken, Mutton and Lamb at this place. There is a short line every time we go there but it moves quickly. There are a lot of positives about this place. They have their own parking lot, which is a huge plus in Little India. They actually slice the meat into much smaller portions than typically done at the Supermarkets. This makes it very easy to cook, at least for us. The gentleman at the counter always recognizes us as he also has a child who is Ian's age. Unlike the other Desi market employees(who think smiling is a crime), he interacts with patrons endearingly. This place has made me a loyal customer! I am amazed that great people like this still exist in this world. I placed an order for meat and when I arrived to pick it up, I was told that they accidentally gave my order to another person. The shop was closing and they could not make me a fresh order. I was upset and left the rest of my groceries and took off. After 10 mins, I got a call from the shop owner. He caught wind of what had happened with my order. He apologized and took my order himself. He promised to hand deliver the order to my door in spite of the fact that I live 45 mins away. The next day his son shows up with all of the groceries as promised! I thanked his son and accidently over paid his son by $80. He noticed after he had left yet he turns around to give my money back. Like father, like son! These guys are truly honest and great people! I am a true believer and will always drive the extra 25 mins to come to their store for all meat groceries. I wish I never walked in that store. I went there for the convenience as I happened to be in Artesia for a quick meat shopping. The meat counter had only goat options and some chicken. My wife and I wanted to get beef cubes and ground beef. We asked the cashier who I think is owner if they carry beef. He said yes it's all in the back freezer inside and we ordered our beef and to our surprise we went home and it's all goat meat, nothing was beef. I had a feeling he lied about having beef and wanted to sell what they have. In addition to that, there was only one guy at the meat department and as it got busy with walk ins, the owner would jump in to meat department to help him and out back to cashier without even washing his hands. read more

Terrible, unscrupulous business owners! Ordered Qurbani/Udhiya, paid $450 for a goat, up front. They asked me to come pick up the meat a day after Eid and they packaged old, frozen, dark, cheap Australian meat to pass off as Qurbani meat. Fresh meat is pink, and soft. But these gave me three bags of rock hard, frozen meat, that had turned dark, the kind that has been shipped in a container, sitting in a freezer for 6 months. These guys have no conscience or fear of the Almighty. They fleece people in the name of Qurbani. Never going to shop from this store ever again. read more

I have been to this place to buy goat meat and goat liver for past 3 months. First i wanted to put all their positive point, their Goat liver is very fresh and people who wish to buy a good goat liver can definitely prefer this place. Goat meat they have in 3 different varieties, mix, shoulder and leg. usually Leg meat comes with very less bones.so i always prefer Leg meat for biriyani. But for last 2 visit i can clearly see they have mixed a lot of bones to the leg meat tray as well. Few of the pieces i found they definitely not from leg meat and should be from shoulder which has more bones and i am 100% positive. I take goat meat from my very early childhood and i can clearly find the difference between the pieces where they come from. I really wish they could maintain their quality by not doing all this. Next comes the customer service. initially they had 3 persons in the meat section. Now it is hardly 2 persons which makes your wait time more than 30 minutes and those persons strictly doesn't like your visit if you come after 7:30 in the evening. Among them there is one lean tall guy, it is preferred to avoid him since he is not friendly at all and even shows his Impatience over your face if you want to revisit your orders. I really wish i can find some other shop in this area for fresh meat and i definitely not visit this shop again. Note to the owner, you have good quality of food and have start gaining good customer base very quickly but i sincerely doubt you really wish to maintain that way.
