I have been enjoying food at Farmer Boys in LA, Redlands and Beaumont for many years. I have never experienced anything other than efficient, polite and knowledgeable employees. While there have been a few times when I had a question, I spoke with the manager and it was quickly and professionally resolved. They understand more than most "fast food" operations what customer service is all about. I have enjoyed their salads and burgers with sides mostly. Look, no one is perfect. Waited for 10 minutes at the register while people were getting order and walking in and no one acknowledged me or anything. And the place was completely empty. Ordered French toast breakfast, scramble eggs and bacon. It cost $14.00, the french toast had way too much butter I had to scoop it off, it was crispy on one side barely brown on other side the eggs had some other orange pieces or something, the bacon was not crispy and mostly just looked like uncooked fat. Hopefully I remember his name correctly, tall skinny guy with braids or dread locks named Brooke was so friendly answering all my questions. Saw him wiping down tables right after someone would leave. He was smiling and just overall great with customer service. Nowadays no matter what 5 star expensive restaurant or cheap fast food place you go to customer service sucks!!! Customer service really has change within the last 15 years. But this guy brought back the "Good Ol Days" with his people skills. My fave location! I always get salads, this is one of the only locations in the IE that washes their salads properly. Very pricey. Bland food. Serving sizes are soooo big. My husband has taken me here twice now, and I don't really like their food. Nothing seems to be seasoned. For the breakfast burrito, it is much more consistently good. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they make mistakes when you order. You might sat want salsa inside or outside, as they offer it and then they give it to you incorrectly. Their little cheap when it comes to extra ranch dressing for the cob salad wrap especI ally Because it is so big. One extra salad dressing doesn't really cut it. They are more expensive than other fast food places but I don't really call them fast food because you'll sit there for five or 10 minutes waiting for your order. I think they make the food to order so it tastes more fresh. If I want a really good quality breakfast burrito, I will go to them. Love this place for the quality & friendliness of staff. No one can compete with their burgers especially the Farmer Burger. Yes there's a bit of a wait and it's pricey, but I'd rather have delicious food than cheap fast food. They give discounts for military, community service workers, seniors. Just ask! If you're not a member of VIF you're missing out on lots of free stuff. The other day I got a double cheeseburger with my coupon and senior discount for .61 , that's right sixty one cents. i don't understand why this location gets so many bad reviews, especially about customer service. I come here for breakfast about 3 times a week. The cashiers are always friendly and the servers never stop working, I don't see idle chatter between them and if ever there is a mistake in the food they are quick to fix it. Their coffee is the best in town and I get as many refills as I want. My only complaint is I wish the cooks would learn to stir the scrambled eggs rather than flip them so they're consistently cooked through. Other than that, it's a great place to eat, with a hard-working, friendly staff who really do treat you like family. read more
