So excited they're finally open! I had to stop by and give them a try. I ordered the 5 & 5 Combo, which comes with 5 wings, 5 tenders, fries, and Texas toast. I went with Garlic Parmesan and Ranch for dipping, plus Lemon Pepper on the dry-seasoned chicken, and upgraded my drink to a large. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries were hot and fresh, and the toast was the perfect side to round out the meal. The sauces were delicious--especially the Garlic Parmesan! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Pros: the staff is friendly and unlike other fast food restaurants, the tables were clean. My chicken sandwich and wings order was prepared quickly and were hot. Cons: maybe it's me, but I wasn't impressed with the flavor of the meal. Not bad, just not great, sorry. I hope Slim Chickens will appeal to a greater clientele. read more

Gave it a try.... From the time you walk in, you see lots of staff. Seems a lot of chaos and confusion and some of them not knowing what to do standing around. Seems they may have over hired. Ordered via the kiosk. Printer paper out on the kiosk. Had to get a receipt printed at the register. Took the food about 10 minutes to come out. They brought it to the table. They forgot one fork and the cayenne ranch. Had to go to the counter and ask for it. Fries looked like the grease needed to be changed Macaroni and cheese was flavorless Waffle was ok Chicken was meh Toast was good Staff were friendly but some were confused, running around in circles and even playing behind the register. So we had been waiting for this place to open and we decided to try it today. So we were very disappointed. The food was cold when we picked it up. We ordered from the app and went straight there to pick up, they are only 4 min away from us. They made us wait for the order because they couldn't figure out what they were missing when we told them it was a drink. It said 2 cherry cokes and they did 1 not 2. Then when we told them they were missing the drink they gave us a peach tea. Didn't know until we got home. The wings were tough and dry and chewy. The Texas toast was good. The chicken sandwiches were ok. And the French fries were squishy. The kids meals were ok. The app limits choices. There should be a choice for every item on the menu. You shouldn't have to settle. The peach teas were warm. Not peachy flavor. Mild flavor. Hard to tell what it was. The cherry coke flat. So after waiting so long for them to open, it was a very disappointing experience. Most likely won't go again. There are enough chicken places on Craig rd now! So sorry, because it was so close to my house. I do not recommend this place. read more

Had to try this new chicken place that opened on my side of town. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and portion sizes . They offer fresh made sweet tea and yes you can tell the difference. This location just opened not too long ago so they were busy when we walked in but thankfully they have several options for ordering. The drive through flows well and inside you have both ordering kiosks as well as human cashiers to assist. The have a decent size menu with a variety of sides, chicken offerings, and multiple desserts. The tenders were perfectly cooked and seasoned while the Mac & cheese was delicious and creamy. I loved the garlic bread and will be back for all of the dessert jars and shakes. The decorations and hand painted signs inside .make it a fun and inviting place that I will definitely return to in the future. read more

Went to Slim Chickens last week for the first time with my coworkers. We work right across the street and decided to give the new kids on the block a try! I had never heard of Slim Chickens before but I'm so glad I said yes to going with the crew. Upon entering we were greeted at the door! A welcoming committee?! Yes, yes YES! I walked to the register and I took a menu pic for the purposes of this review and one of the workers handed me a menu so I could see it better. The place was new so it was very clean. The tables were cleaned right away upon guest leaving. For food, I ordered the 6 piece chicken wings Lemon pepper with fries and had a raspberry tea mixed with lemonade. I LOVE that I did not have to ask them to fry my chicken hard! It was perfect! Fries were decent. Rylee came to our table and asked if we wanted to try the Cajun ranch on the house. He swore it was the best thing since sliced bread. He wasn't lying. It went very well with the chicken and elevated the fries. Before we departed Larry came to our table and asked if we had chicken tenders. Two of us said no, so he brought two tenders to the table to try since that is what they were known for. I will admit, they were juicy and flavorful! Unlike the guys down the street, no sauce was needed to make the flavor come out! I will say I wish the tenders were just a bit more crispy. First Review! We were excited to check out this brand new location, so we put in a mobile order and stopped by around 9:45 PM. We found out mobile orders are technically inside pickup only, but since the drive-thru lane was completely empty, we decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the experience was a total mess from start to finish. The Setup & Ordering: Communication Breakdown: We had to repeat and spell our name four times at the speaker, only to get to the window and have them ask for our name all over again. There were at least 8 people behind the counter with headsets on, so it was shocking that no one could make out what we were saying. Service Fail: When we pulled up to the window, several of the workers had their backs turned to us, dancing and playing around. The single saving grace was one young man who was kind, & confirmed our order, and gave us a polite update while we waited. Kitchen & Atmosphere: The kitchen was chaotic. There were so many people moving around aimlessly and standing in the way that it looked like a safety hazard. I know they just opened and most of this is probably new-staff training, but there was zero flow or organization. Menu Outages: A huge chunk of the menu was out. No potato salad, no mac & cheese (so no mac bowls either), and no salads. You're pretty much limited to tenders, wings, fries, toast, and waffles right now. The Food Quality: Sweet Tea: Served completely warm with no ice, which was definitely odd. Fries: Tasted good, but the portion was super skimpy. Grilled Tenders: Not bad! You could actually taste the lemon pepper seasoning. Fried Tenders: A big miss. They had a tiny bit of initial crunch, but quickly turned soggy with a wet-textured batter. I can't imagine these holding up well at all if you get delivery or have a long drive home. We tried to give them plenty of grace since they are brand new, but between the lack of customer service, chaotic kitchen, missing menu items, and mediocre fried tenders, this visit just wasn't enough to bring us back. Staffed by bums. Was super happy to hear a Slim Chickens was opening near me. I ordered through the app, 10 minutes before I arrived. When I got the order, the fries were just warm, even lukewarm. I was missing a sauce (I paid extra for signature sauce, $0.40), so I got one sauce and paid $0.40 for nothing. I hoped the chicken would save it, no. It was old, so old. I know old chicken and this chicken was older than my order. By the way, any time people brought up chicken places, I mentioned Slim Chickens. Because it was the best I'd had before. I'm actually worried that my friends are gonna try it on Craig Rd and tell me I was wrong. And they'd be right! I'm so annoyed, ignore this location. I don't want want be mean and leave 1 star but I was about to. The FOOD NOT GOOD. The fried pickles where WAY too salty and I've tried fried pickles from everywhere I like seasoning but this was just salt and more salt no flavor. The chicken had no flavor . The fries taste like Wingstop fries plain and nasty . I also got a wrap the tortilla was cold it was full of lettuce a tiny bit of chicken a tinny about of cheese . I love slim chickens. I was so excited seeing they were opening one up in north Las Vegas. The food was exactly how I remember it, if not better. I had the slims meal tossed in Buffalo with a side of fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were so hot and yummy. The chicken juicy and flavorful. I'll definitely be back for many more times. The employees were friendly, but you can tell they're new. Hopefully through time they'll get experience and not get too worked up. I'm pretty sure I met the franchise owner or manager, not sure which but they were super helpful when the our order was messed up. The environment was great, I feel very comfortable. read more

THIS FOOD WAS AMAZING!! I rarely leave reviews anymore but I left one on Google and now yelp. Service was awesome from start to finish and the ambiance was so welcoming. Chicken was so juicy and tender, the sauces were delicious, the sides and desserts were such a awesome touch!!! I decided to try this place instead of iur usual canes and im very very happy that I did!! Also, the manager and staff we're so nice! Ordered the cesar chicken wrap with buffalo sauce, and the brownie jar for dessert. The wrap was delicious and filling, and I loved the buffalo sauce. The fries were crispy and hot. The brownie jar was 10/10 delicious and worth the extra 7-8 bucks, and will be reordering again in the future. This place is a lot better than Canes and zaxbys.
