I usually come to Farmer Boys at least once a week for the Cobb Salad. Recently, a friend turned me on to the Cobb with Fried Onion Strings on top. That is the best combo!! -- side note, I used to include every meal with fried jalapeño's and now they are off the menu.... So happy that there is something new to include. Calling in an order is the VERY BEST way to go. Food is ready BEFORE I get there, and it's fresh and all ready to go!! I love that the staff is totally upbeat and happy to be at work too... Employees were nice. Greeted us with a smile. Food was okay. Here's what we ordered: Sausage Breakfast Burrito $6.89: Quite small. They could add more meat. Side of Hash browns $2.59: They needed to be fried longer. They weren't crispy at all. You can see by the picture. I'm not sure how you can mess hash browns up. Disappointment. Should've just got some french fries or skipped the whole thing. French Toast Only $6.49: It comes with 6 slices. You can get the French Toast Combo instead if you want the eggs and meat just for about .50 cents more. We didn't want all of that food so we didn't get the combo. French Toast was alright pretty basic. Slices were not big thick slices of french toast as you would hope. Adding the syrup on top made it taste better. I probably wouldn't order it again but I was craving some french toast. Soft Drink $1.99: Good price. Refills available. Best deal we got there. Overall the food was basic. We chose to eat here because we didn't really know what we wanted to eat. The place has different items to choose from so that was the only good thing. Didn't plan on eating at Farmer Boys, but was out shopping and they were close to my location. It turned out to be a good decision. I had the "Natural Cheeseburger" avocado bacon combo. I have to say that this location has the most kind and professional employees I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. My husband and I come here to share a huge salad or sandwich and every time they are so respectful and helpful. They bring us our food with a smile, ask if we would like an extra plate, and even split the huge salad when we order it to share. They stop by our table at least once or twice to check on us. The food is great and fresh. When we leave even the cooks shout thank you as we ring the bell for great service. The restaurant is always clean and we actually go there sometimes for date night. This spot serves great food... if you're willing to wait. The sandwiches are great and onion rings are pretty good as well. However, dine in and drive thru both take forever. Been here at least a handful of times and always wait long. Takes the fast out of fast food. On top of that, my husband and I ordered California BLTs today. I'm currently pregnant and any type of meat has really been grossing me out so I ordered mine without bacon. Seems funny but give me a break. We got our food and drove away. I went to Farmer Boys on August 2,2023 at 6:30 pm went through drive thru, and ordered my food. Came home and noticed that I was missing food so then I made a phone call. The lady who answered said her name was Jessica, I explained to her I was missing food she then replied saying you can bring your food back I told her NO!! Then she "Jessica replied and said I can leave a note and you can come back at a later time, I said NO just refund my money back, she then responded "NO we cant do that! I understand the food is fresh and takes time to make but having to wait 50 minutes for an order, that I called in ahead of time for, is ridiculous. Meh. I knew what to expect at Farmer Boys since I used to go to the one in Corona off of Lincoln often. It's just a step above fast food because of the quality, however, at this particular location my order was sloppy. I went through the drive through and was the third car in line. It took approximately 17 minutes for me to complete my transaction and receive my food! The employee that handled my order was very apologetic and I understand it's not under her control, but 17 minutes from ordering to leaving at a drive through is a bit much. I ordered the fried zucchini, charbroiled chicken wrap and a cookies and cream milk shake. Needless to say, the part I liked most was my milkshake. The fried zucchini was my only complaint other than how long it took to get my order. It very soggy and the breading wouldn't even stay on. My wrap was very loosely wrapped and fell apart as I ate it... it wasn't bad, though. They were very generous with how much chicken they put in it. I don't think I'd come through the drive through ever again unless I had time to kill, but will still come for the yummy shakes/wraps... No more zucchini for me from here. read more

They do have excellent sandwiches and salads but everything else I would suggest taking a hard pass on. Everything fried is: A) Bland (unless you find oil flavorful) B) Pretty much just falls apart and oozes oil C) Way too big (I get the ideals of quantity, but wow) D) A funny orange color Their service is mediocre, and only attempt to use their drive through if you have a ridiculously exorbitant amount of time available to you. Recently had my first, and last, visit to Farmers Boys. I ordered the grilled chicken club and fries. My husband was raving about the fries, but after we got them, he says he thinks they changed from what he remembers. They were good when really hot and have a different type of fry to them from like your McDonald's and In N Outs. Not skinny fries but not super fat like Red Robin. Anyway, I know you should never order chicken or pretty much anything else from a place that specializes in other stuff (here, burgers), but I just didn't feel like a hamburger and they have this California chicken club that has bacon and avocado. It was pretty much the driest chicken I have ever eaten. I kept on wondering what was so hard with every bite, and it was the edges of the chicken when you cook it too long. I literally had to keep spitting out bits of chicken and even when I got to the center, it was softer, but of course, dry. So disappointed and even more so now, bc due to covid-19, we don't eat out much at all, maybe once a week, and this was supposed to be a treat. If you like spending $40 on cold soggy food, then you will love this place. If you like to spend 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 3 cars ahead of you, then this place is for you. If you want to deal with rude employees who want to rush you out of there, this is the place for you. In our order there were two burgers. Both had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp the entire 30 minutes we were in the drive thru. The French fries were either soggy from having everything thrown on top of them or they were hard like they weren't cook. The zucchini is cut so large and thick it can't possibly cook evenly. Who likes that? I have come to this location several times. Each time I'm hoping for a better experience; each time, I'm disappointed. I've been to this place twice now and overall it has been a pretty lackluster experience. Sweet people that work there, but they are under staffed and the food is mediocre. I would put them on par with a Burger King just a bigger restaurant and more eating options are available. Farmer Boys should be called bum boys. The excessive amount of advertisement money they use on TV, means zero in actual reality. Their double cheeseburger and regular cheese burger fell short of the mark. Salty, and what kind of burger is it anyways? Not soft at all, flat and dense. Most burgers in most places definitely surpass these in flavor and texture. Regular salad was okay, modest but edible, with no special attributes. Fries yes crispy, but the salt man went to town dosing them, maybe that's how they like their fries? Or perhaps trying to help with enough salt to withstand the brutal heat wave plaguing the area. This farmer boys has never heard of customer service before, it's non-existent. I had to call from the drive through to ask to be helped and waited 20 minutes at the window just to pay. No one was running the drive through, people were getting out of their cars in the drive through to walk up and ask why it was taking so long. No one was friendly or helpful at all. I enjoy Farmerboys and visit several locations, I have always received great service and good food until today. I went to this restaurant because I wanted to use my coupon for a free side order. I placed my order in the drive-thru with a friendly associate, wanted a long time for my food but I expect this since it's made fresh. When I went to pay I told them I had a coupon for a free side order and gave them the coupon. My order also included a drink and a burger. After trying to process the coupon the associate came back saying we can't honor the coupon because we gave you a combo order. I thought I never asked for a combo order, fine, just correct the order because my free side makes it a lot less than a combo order. The associate said they couldn't change an order once it had been rung up....REALLY! She continued saying that the manager had taken the order and no changes could be made...REALLY! Remember I can go to any Farmer Boys, and get a great meal...I won't be back to your location.
