My experience at this Farmer Boys was outstanding!! Fresh food every time I go! The hamburgers are better than other places and worth the money. It may take a few more minutes but worth it. I walked in and went into Farmer Boys on June 16, 2024. This wasn't my first visit every time I go there there's an issue with the Hispanic manager. She was behind the counter. There was no one in line. She walked away and had an African-American woman come to help me. I ordered my food with her and I stepped to the side maybe 4 to 5 Hispanics came in she took the order and when my food was done, she slammed my order on the counter and that's my food right over all the other staff's there very nice I called back in and spoke with another manager very racist towards me as well. I've had their breakfast bowls at another location and those were pretty tasty. So I decided to come here. I got the Farmer Burger, Chili Cheese Fries and tried the onion rings. The farmer burger is a double cheese burger with mashed avocado and bacon and the usual stack. It was good. The flavor from the patties was good. The avocado for some reason didnt really stand out too much. Nor did the bacon. As a burger in a whole it was pretty good. The chili cheese fries were good. Although the chili cheese to fries ratio was different than normal places. Here I got way more chili than expecting. A good thing? Sure. The chili was good. The ranch dressing is okay. The onion rings are huge. What you see in the description and menu picture is exactly what you get. In a combo you get four. I wish they were cooked for a little bit longer. But it was 9pm so ehh its cool. Nice outside patio seating too is a plus. Its about average price when compared to The Habit which is across the street. First off, the incompetent girl taking the orders was clearly talking to one of her co-workers because she was laughing and wasn't listening to me. I had the most terrible experience here at Farmer Boys restaurant last week on 9/17/2019. The drive through cashier returned my debit card after taking payment that I found out next morning it was not my card, instead it was a farmer boy gift card. I picked up my card next morning at 9:30 am, where I found out someone has used my card for a PayPal purchase worth $550.00, the transaction took place at 9:30 pm on that day when the card was inside the store. The store needs to take responsibility and resolve this issue, not only to figure out what happens, but also to prevent this from happening in future to other customers. It's certain that PayPal transaction was done during the card was in store possession. As a result my bank card was blocked and had to go to branch to withdraw money for lunch, long wait at the branch and they had me bring my passport and other forms of ID to confirm my identity. read more

Walking into the Farmer Boys in Northridge is like walking into the Farrmer Boys in DTLA. The décor and layout are the same. The quality of the food, thankfully, is the same as well. It's been a while since I've been to the DTLA location so I could be wrong in this but, I seem to remember burritos in the menu. I don't recall seeing them in the Northridge location. Either way, the food is still solidly good. The portion of the combo meal is large enough for two people counting calories to share. The combo comes with not one, but two sides of your choice! Yey! The burger took 10-15 minutes to come and it had cheese along with thousand island dressing when we specifically ordered it without both. When they took the burger back to remake it took more than 20 minutes. It felt like they weren't even going to remake the burger until we specifically went back up to ask for it. When the burger was finally given to us again, it had no cheese but it still had the thousand island dressing. On top of that, we ordered a Bacon Boy Combo and the burger came back with no bacon. With the amount of time it took to get the burger was already almost finished the salad. We were not going to send the burger back again. Stopped by today for lunch after seeing a sign $7.99 Cheeseburger, drink and fries special for CSUN STUDENTS and went to the drive-through. The employee knew nothing about the special or sign. He proceeded to tell me that it was not offered during this time, which was 1:00. I asked when was it offered and he didn't know. Farmer boys is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. My favorite thing to eat there is the bbq bacon ranch salad wrap. They also have delicious onion rings and fries. The staff are always very friendly and also very accommodating.
