Won't be coming back unfortunately. I love Farmer Boys but this location made me late twice for work, despite asking them how long food would take the second time. "7-8" minutes turned into 20 at the drive through. I gave them a second chance after the first issue with similar delays and apologies. Sounds petty, but had to comment. Outside area is poorly kept, staff walking in 20 mins after opening, and the dude in charge of my food initially was left to pick up trash outside while the manager was running food and apologizing profusely. The drive thru window ordering is very unique at this one. You have to drive up to the window to place your order and THEN park at a designated spot to wait for your order. This was kinda frustrating since it was timely. I understand the whole freshly cooked thing but it seemed there weren't enough staff. Food is always delicious but service has suffered. Restaurant nearly empty after church on Sunday. We were shocked!

TLDR: 25 minutes to get order (2 combos), they forgot fries. Burgers were ok, threw out the onion rings. Lunch rush Monday. There was one car ahead of us at the drive-up window. 10 minutes before they pulled away from the window to go wait for their food. Another couple minutes before we're acknowledged at the window. Once our order is taken, we park and wait. The driver of the car in front of us eventually gets out of their car to go inside and get their food. 20 minutes after I paid, I did the same. I waited for the cashier to be available to help, asked if our order was ready, provided my receipt when asked, and was told it would be another few minutes. Once they handed me my order, they did offer a free drink. Given that we had already paid for our drinks, I declined. Got home and there were no fries in the bag. Two burgers, onion rings, and fries...couldn't get it right with half an hour to accomplish it. Burgers were decent. Onion rings lacked any amount of flavor, so we threw the rest out. While inside the restaurant, there was a dine-in customer complaining to staff that he had been waiting 15 minutes for a Cobb salad... This is the second negative experience here (out of two visits), so we won't be back. read more

Fantastic food and fantastic service! I love this location and keep coming back to it when I am in Riverside. Of course, I love Farmer Boys food and will go to their locations wherever I am and when I feel hungry. The young men and women who work always treat this old man like a favorite uncle and I have only had heartwarming experiences at every Farmer Boys location. If Yaritza continues to works here, tell her "Hi" from me. She is a fine young lady and she went out of the way to help this old man and his friend. Huge pieces of terribleness. The fried zucchini was decent - HUGE pieces of zucchini with orange colored batter (why is it so orange?). I personally like my veggies so it didn't bother me that the pieces were so largely disproportionate. But not a fan of the orange batter - actually peeled most of it off my fried zucchini. Manager (black shirt) was EXTREMELY rude. I had ordered take out, but changed my mind and decided to eat there. I was sitting at a table for 10 minutes while waiting for my food (mind you there were MANY open tables around me, dining room was about 1/4 way full) when a gentleman I assume was the manager who was wearing a black shirt said I could not sit there and had to move to the waiting area. When I picked up my food I asked why I wasn't allowed to eat there and he said the dining room was for dine in with table numbers only. So I asked because I had a receipt only I wasn't able to dine in anymore? He said he didn't know that's what I was doing, yet he never asked, he just told me I had to move. My order was confirmed via doordash at 7:28 PM. As of 8:36 PM I still have no food. The poor driver has been there waiting for 50 minutes. He says it's busy, but that's no excuse. If I was standing right there, or there in my car in the drive-through, there's no way they would make me wait more than an hour for my food. This tells me they're just skipping over delivery orders to help people that are there on premise. That's not fair when I've already paid. Even worse there's a Farmer Boys within walking distance of my house, but I was busy with something at home and I couldn't go out. I saw the reviews to this place and felt uneasy about going. However, because I've heard such amazing things about their fish & chips, I went anyway. I was NOT disappointed! Seriously, the cashier (whose name I believe was Trek --super cool name by the way) has THE best attitude I have ever seen in a worker! He was so polite and knowledgeable. Also, I feel it's important to mention that when a homeless man came in, Trek greeted him and talked to him like he was no less than any other human being in the place. They said no and that they just denied two men before me because they didn't purchase food first. That would explain why my coworker and I witnessed a grown man relieving himself (number 2) on the side of the trash can, humiliated. Can you imagine in 2024 that that's how we operate a business? Let's start off with the location. There is no menu for you to look at when you arrive to the location at the drive thru. They made us wait 30 minutes under reserved parking just to tell us they haven't started on our drive thru order due to them being "busy". I only order chili cheese fries , chicken strips and the cali BLT, and one grilled cheese. Some how after waiting 30 minutes and my wife having to go into the establishment to check on the order to later find out that they messed up the order by forgeting the grilled cheese and than screwing up the chilli cheese fries. Who eats chill cheese fries with only cheese?this is the worst farmers I've ever ate at. And I will never eat here again the food is cold and the building is swarmed by homeless people. I visited this location this afternoon. I could not locate a speaker for the drive-through, and, therefore, decided I need to go inside. I asked the person taking my order if they could dispense the drinks from behind the counter, as I have had an aversion to filling drinks from a soda fountain machine used by the public since the onset of the pandemic. I thought they were going to honor my request, however when I specified one of the drinks I wanted to order, they seemingly declined my request, as they said they would give me cups to fill the drinks myself. When I inquired with the person taking my order as to where the drive-through speaker is located, they indicated there is not one, and that anyone wanting to order would need to "roll up to the window". (A drive-through without a speaker is unheard of.) There is every appearance this location is low rent, which is ironic, given that it is located next door to Farmer Boys' corporate headquarters. I would strongly not recommend this this location, as it lacks proper convenience and hospitality. read more

I've never been to a Farmer Boys but my experience here was great (for a fast food joint)! My friends and I decided to stop by for a quick lunch and we were greeted by a large menu and a friendly staff. I got the $5.99 deal which included a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. I opted in for half zucchini fries and half french fries. The zucchini fries were literally a zucchini cut into quarter pieces and they were super huge! I liked it! The burgers were a-ok. My friend ordered the Farmer's burger and it was the size of my face. So big! Parking was pretty easy to find in the lot even though the restaurant was busy. Food came out pretty fast. Good food and fair prices. Breakfasts are excellent and the burgers are top notch. Ask for coupons when you walk in if you do not have any, they will be happy to give them to you. Also, you can go on-line before you go and find a coupon for just about anything you want to eat. You should never have to pay full price to eat at Farmer Boys........
