Juicy Burgers I had driven past Farmer Boys so many times but never stopped in, until today that is and I'm so glad we finially decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is comfortable, clean and the staff are friendly and accomdating. On this visit we shared the avocado bacon burger, fries, and onion rings and everything was delicious. The burger are large, fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The fries and onion rings were crispy and served pipping hot. As good as the burgers were, I think my favorite were the onion rings (we should have ordered 2 servings). The staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food is really good. When we travel we find a farmer boys. Love the fresh food, that comes out fast. Ordered the chicken, avocado, bacon sourdough sandwich. The Cobb salad was large and filling. This was our first time ordering from here and omg it was so good. I had the avocado bacon cheeseburger, fried zucchini and ordered fruit for the morning. We have always enjoyed the burgers here, but only could have when in California, so we were excited to see this one open in the West Valley. This is an order at counter restaurant but they do bring your order to table. Little noisy but expected. Burgers are great but sloppy, get lots of napkins. We ordered the Farmer Boy and a double cheeseburger. Both were delicious, I did think meat was a little salty but still tasty. Fries are good. We also ordered the onion rings, not my favorite. Great place for a homemade tasting burger. I do think a bit too far off freeway if passing through. read more

I thought the food was good but was surprised that it was not a sit down restaurant that had service from your table. I was more like a fast Food Restaurant. I had the chicken strips and fries which I thought were very good. It was clean the staff was very nice it was just a surprise that it was not a sit down restaurant. The food was fantastic, and I appreciate their commitment to quality. Now, understand from the outset- tbey're not the cheapest option, nor the fastest. Even on their sign it says explicitly: "Farm food is not fast food." But there really IS a difference. We got the Farmer burger and the spicy chicken sandwich- the chicken actually tasted like chicken, which sounds weird until you've actually tried it. Walking in, the dining area was really clean. As soon as a table emptied they were out cleaning it up. I love how they have their local partners hanging up. Nice to see that they use local farms to supply them. Service was great. They were friendly and fast. I had a hard time deciding between the burger choices and the salad choices. The food was delicious, I got a loaded chicken sandwich and a bacon boy they were both yummy and the size was worth the price! The French fries were good however not something to rave about in my opinion as well as the onion rings were not seasoned and too thick in my opinion however the ranch that came with them was really tasty and helped. Thieves!!! They gave us HALF of what we ordered and I knew the bag felt light at the drive thru, immediately pulled to the front door to not hold up the line and went inside. We had ordered 3 burgers, 2 grilled cheese, fries, zucchinis and French toast sticks. All that was in the bag were 2 grilled cheese, fries and French toast all the cheap stuff. After arguing with us for 10 min I asked for my money back. They said we lied about the 1 small bag they gave us. There is no way the whole order would have fit in 1 small bag. Their excuse was they were short staffed. That doesn't mean you steal from your customers and only give them half their food. They made us wait 10 minutes acting like they were going to re-do order and served everyone else first. Initially they refused a refund...this is insanely awful service. With food as expensive as it is, this is incredibly unacceptable...we will never be back here to support this incompetence. read more

Place is amazing for burgers or breakfast. Friendly service but sometimes I wish they would open a second register a quicker when 10 people show up and are waiting in a line all the way to the door. Right down the street from my work. I've passed it many times and decided to finally pop in. I wish I hadn't. The place was packed! So I got excited thinking it was gonna be great! It wasn't. Burger was dry and trash receptacles were overflowing. All the tables were dirty and needed to be wiped down. It might be a staffing issue, but I'll wait a long while before I return. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they did not have pastrami which I desperately wanted. Why no pastrami? We went to plan B which included burgers and one breakfast omelette. I opted for zucchini instead of fries. Don't be concerned about only getting 4 pieces of zucchini because they are 4 large pieces and they were fresh and delicious. There was so much food!! Everything tasted great!! Hopefully next time I can review my favorite pastrami. read more

Another fast food place that offered fast friendly service. They have a pretty large menu including burgers, salads, breakfast items....the best zucchini in town. My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful outdoor weather on their outdoor patio....they offer indoor dining for our hot summer months lol. We had the pleasure of receiving good service from these two in my first photo. So glad some restaurants are taking the time to hire pleasant workers who provide friendly and efficient service. Service great food is not so good. I feel like all the hype is wrong it's literally a glorified Burger King.

This place has the vibe of a really happy Denny's. It's breakfast, brunch, and burgers but with a walk up counter. Their whole schtick is that everything is fresh and made to order. In this instance that meant they were out of some things. They didn't have pastrami when I was there. I got the California chicken club on sourdough with onion rings. It was hot and fresh and good maybe a little under salted. I've never had onion rings like that. Look at that thing. It was fresh but also under salted. For the sandwich, onion rings, and a drink, my meal cost $17. Not cheap. The franchise owner brought my food to the table. She asked about my experience and told me her story. She has been working with Farmer Boys since she was 16. She started as a cashier. Restaurants who care about your experience are very different from the typical corporate food places. This place wants to exchange value for your money and time. You should try it. You'll probably like it. read more

My husband Leon told me about Farmer Boys' food. He eats there 2-3 a week and breakfast every Saturday morning. My husband does not eat out like that. So I was curious about this new place. I finally had lunch with him at Farmer Boys on a Saturday. I was impressed with the food and the customer service. The food is amazing and the order is always perfect. The staff are pleasant and made me feel special Saturday, June 11, 2023, at the Tolleson location. My nieces and I had lunch with my husband. Our food was brought to the table. Extremely hostile idiot in the front of the store very rudely told me to leave bc i have a service dog in training. discrimination and ableism right here in this garbage hole. And yes i am disabled in case you didn't see the plates on my car you ableist garbage. I hate you and i will never eat here again. Edit: My husband and my brother are both truckers, they're no longer eating at ANY Farmer Boys and we WILL be spreading the word. He's been excited to eat here for WEEKS and this is how we were treated. Edit 2: This dog has eaten at Hillstone in Dallas, Casa de Pico, several Waffle Houses, Denny's, BJ's, SO many places. The usual comment i get about my service dog is that he is EXTREMELY well behaved and that people didn't even know he was there. I usually take him outside, too, but not when it's 120 outside with NO shade. I've only been treated like this by ONE other place (Costco) by ONE other person (Karen-esque door attendant at said Costco). This was a disgusting display of hatred toward disabled people and your Karen cashier at the front should be fired before you get sued. I will be looking into a lawyer, so you might be too late. My family and I went through the drive threw yesterday 6-25-25 and it was the worst experience we've ever had at Farmer Boys. After checking if our food was right two of our orders were wrong. We went back around through the drive threw to hopefully get our orders fixed. The worker then took back all of our food and placed it by the drive threw window. She then proceeded to take out her mistake from the bag. After ten minutes she opened the window and asked what the item was supposed to be once again. We told her the item we initially had ordered and then said it was going to be an extra charge to get it. That's when we asked for the manager to properly fix our order since our food was getting cold. The manager then reapted to say it was an extra charge once again to fix their mistake. We ended up asking for both their names and leaving after twenty-two minutes of them not being able to fix our orders. Seems that the worker and Manager both need to be retrained. read more
