Pulled up in the drive thru 6:08 am. Lights are all on inside and in the driveway menu. No one answers the drive thru box. I pull up to the window and see the sign that says they open at 6 am, it is now 6:08 am and no one can be seen. At this point I decide to call on the phone it rings and rings and rings no one answers. Finally a girl walks by and only answers her phone because she sees me in the drive-thru. I said your sign says open and she says the person Who opens isn't there yet. So I had to leave didn't have time to stop at another place or I would be late for work thanks a lot Farmer Boys for absolutely nothing, no service, no food, I'm lucky they even answered the phone I guess. Bottom line don't have signs test say open if you're Not open. Grrrr! I would have given zero stars but that wasn't an option. read more

Wife ordered two sandwiches (California BLT and the Sourdough Chicken Avacado). Both were very poor quality. The piece of chicken was very fatty, and the bread was chewy along with overall blah flavor. The BLT sandwi h was extra poor quality. Very very dry, and my wife kept saying all she could taste was burnt bread. The bread was toasted on the outside but didn't seem too bad, but as soon as she lifted the bread, we discovered that they definitely hid the burnt side of the bread by putting the burnt side on the inside. Food is good but the service is extremely slow and inattentive. Orders via the drive thru are correct about 70% of the time. Eating inside, time wise, takes longer than drive thru. Today we were barely in and out in 30 minutes. We ordered one plate for my son who was craving their cinnamon roll French toast prior to school. I have deducted one star for time, one for consistency, and one for lack of attentiveness to customers. It appears they have cut their staff in half and this may be the reason for the errors. I'm giving this place two stars because Farmer Boys serves great food. However, we were greeted (or NOT greeted by a cashier that must've had a bad day. She was completely stone-faced and didn't crack a single smile once! I just shook my head in disappointment and she asked me if everything was ok (still stone-faced). I simply answered her question with the same question she gave me. She said everything is fine. Yeah, could've fooled me. Even when she walked around to warm up everyone's coffee she STILL couldn't manage to squeeze our ONE SMILE! As far as the food goes, it was still good even though they got both egg orders wrong on both my plate and my wife's plate. Luckily we liked our eggs the way they prepared them anyway. Went through the drive thru on 4/11/22 around 3pm. I had to wait a few minutes to place my order. I wanted a hamburger, onion rings and a coke. The drive through person suggested I get a combo because I could get a large drink for no extra charge. I accepted the upgrade. I was read back my order to confirm it was correct. I said yes and proceeded to the window. Within a few minutes I had my order and I was on my way home. My family, friends and I love the food from here and have never had any issues until today. I ordered a French toast platter with bacon and scrambled eggs, and there was MULTIPLE pieces of egg shells. To the point where my son got tired of eating the eggs because almost every bite had shells in the eggs. Not looking for a free meal, or a voucher. While my wife was driving me home from the VA hospital I spotted a Farmer Boys in French Valley. I asked her to drive in. The drive thru was packed so I chose to walk inside. This is the first time I've walked into a dining establishment since my cardiac surgery. I was greeted right away from Nicole a shift leader. She took my order and recognized I was a veteran and offered me a courtesy discount. She then swapped positions with a team member. Then proceeded to work on my order. Afterwards she delivered my order directly to me and ask me to comeback soon. I was very appreciative on the personal service since I've been recovering at home nearly 6 weeks. She made my visit quick and easy on me. I will definitely return and possibly dine in as I recover in due time. Keep up the great job team! John B read more
