I went to this location to see if someone could untangle a thin chain for me. Rich helped me and was able to fix my chain. He was very nice and accommodating. He wouldn't take any money. I was quite pleased with the work and friendliness I received. Several months ago the same thing had happened with the same necklace and that time I took it to your Pico Blvd. location in the Westside Pavilion. If I could I'd give them no stars. Called on the phone to ask how much they'd adjust a new watch band. The dude on the phone asked what kind of watch, I responded it's a new watch with a metal band. He hang up the phone on me. I guess he wanted me to tell him it's a Rolex or some expensive watch so he can tell me it's going to cost you $$$. I called back... the phone goes to voicemail. Conveniently located, usually takes no more then 30 minutes to fix, and located inside a mall! It's always a plus when you can shop while you wait for your watch to get repaired. I've gotten watch batteries changed here and they have a one time option or you pay a little more and get the lifetime option so if your battery ever dies, you can come bring it here and have it changed.... forever!!!! I loved the customer server at my Century City Fast Fix. I walked in and Rich was warm and welcoming. Francisco assured me he could untangle my dainty rose gold necklace that I had made a knotted mess out of. I returned an hour later (this hour allowed me to get some holiday shopping done too!) and my necklace was as good as new. It has sentimental value as it was my first Christmas from my husband (many years ago) so I am grateful to Francisco and Rich for taking care of it and me! I should have followed my friend's advice when he told me not to go to this place. I went to get my Iphone repaired but going here caused me much more anxiety than I needed. Instead of fixing my phone, they said they couldn't fix it and gave me what I thought was my original phone but it was another Iphone that did not work. I found this out because I took the phone to my carrier and they told me it wasn't the phone I originally had and that someone is using my original phone. Everything I had in my phone is gone and is being used by someone else because of this store. DON'T TRUST THEM!! read more

I took a little bag of my jewelry in that desperately needed to be either cleaned, fixed or untangled. Cesar did all of the above in what felt like 10 minutes. It was super quick, all in front of my eyes! I was amazed at how he un-kinked a chain on one of my necklaces that I thought was a goner! He also checked 2 pairs for earrings I had because I wasn't sure which ones were the real diamonds. Total cost... Zero. Amazing! He was super friendly and talented at his job. I must say the repair man and the counter lady were very nice. The counter lady just started so she was learning. My repair was done in 15 minutes and was inexpensive. I wish there was a 10 star that I could give this store. I went in to have a bottle of cologne that I had got for my boyfriend as his Valentine's Day engraved. It was my first time there and I was very nervous because I had spent $300 on the cologne. Cesar,The gentleman that works there was sooooo sweet and helpful. He said the bottle is not embraceable but he can make a plaque and glue it on the jar. He did the plaque 3 times to make sure that it turned out perfect. He seems to be great at his job and customer service. He made sure I was happy and even called the next day to make sure that I took it home and everything was good. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF- DON'T GO!! I went to the location in the Westfield mall in West LA, and was charged $60 for a watch battery. Upon leaving the mall, I walked by another watch repair place and asked how much they charge out of curiosity. TEN DOLLARS- they only charged $10. I realize that I should have shopped around beforehand, but I 100% think that I was taken advantage of. I mean, this is a 600% markup. Five thumbs up! I'd give them more if I could. I don't know how or when, but a stone from my ring came out. I went to Fast Fix Jewelry Repair, and just as their name says it was a "fast fix". I was told it would be a week before they could find a replacement stone and reprong several of the other stones and diamonds. I received a call in a couple days that my ring was ready. Needless to say, I was skeptical. Wow was I surprised! They did a fantastic job...I couldn't tell which was the replacement stone...it was identical in color and size with the other sapphires in the setting. They cleaned the ring...the sapphires shined and the diamonds sparkied. Mike, I believe that was his name, was professional, personable, courteous and best of all, honest. I was unaware this was a franchise until now because the shop in the Westside Pavillion shopping mall in Rancho Park feels like a mom and pop store -- and that's a very good thing. I had to go there to get my glasses soldered and they were able to fix it while I had lunch at the dining deck. So that saved me a trip back. Then I remembered I had a pair of high end designer glasses and they were able to solder that broken frame too saving me a ton of money had I had to replace those. David is a master craftsman who really takes pride in his work. I highly recommend this place. read more

BEWARE IF YOU BRING JEWELRY TO BE SERVICED HERE! My experience with this location gave me a firsthand lesson on why people sue for emotional distress! Although it didn't come to that (thankfully), the management team are hands down the rudest and most arrogant men I've ever dealt with. I brought a cherished necklace in to be re-gold plated after it became discolored from contact with turmeric. Literally after 2 days, the necklace became tarnished AND I developed a gnarly chest rash (probably from whatever chemical was used for the plating). I had to bring the necklace in THREE TIMES (first 2 times "manager wasn't on premises to grant refund"). Then when I finally get to speak to someone (VERY politely given the situation), TONY THE SUPERVISOR flew off the handle and began yelling at me! I mean, this old man yelling and talking down to a young woman...is he serious?? (And given prior reviews, Tony is a real piece of work and shouldn't be allowed to interact with customers). Tony kept repeating "NO REFUNDS!" and told me I should've asked "how long the work would last" before I dropped it off! I mean, seriously?? So aside from him acknowledging that the job was poorly done, the receipt says "ALL WORK GUARANTEED FOR 30 DAYS"; it had been TWO. Then Tony says, "we send those type of work orders out, so it's not our fault". Like the guy seriously has issues. The manager Caesar was absolutely no help, and even after contacting the owner through Westfield management, I still received no solution. It was finally the call to Fast Fix corporate that did it, which was ridiculous since this all could have been handled quickly and civilly; instead I had to deal with this ordeal, a rash, being yelled and talked down to for two weeks. I used to patron this place and other Fast Fix locations all the time, but after this I will NEVER step foot in this franchise again. PERIOD. read more

I've been coming here for years to get my watch batteries and watch bands replaced. Friendly staff and professional service. I recently brought in my car key fob to have the battery replaced and they did it in the spot. The dealership tells you that it must be professionally programmed by the dealership but definitely not true. I spent $35 instead if the $100+ that a dealership would charge. I confidently recommend Fast Fix at Westside Pavilion to anyone for the watch, jewelry, or even car fob battery/repair. They also do eyeglass repair to frames. I haven't tried this service but I never knew it was even offered. Good to know. read more

I have a watch already and a band, but needed springs. Got a quote for 2 watch springs/pins for $20. RIPOFF, buyer beware. They are preying on people who do not know the cost of this part in bulk is less than a dollar for 20 of them!! The crown fell off my old Rolex & after shopping around, this place quoted me the best price to repair the watch ($350). When I brought the watch in, I had to pay for the repair in advance. Kind of strange, but OK. Because I still had the crown, the guy told me that if they could use my crown (rather than replacing the crown), he would give me a partial refund. A few days later, I picked up the watch & yes, they were able to use my crown. When I reminded the guy that he promised me a partial refund if they used my crown, he denied making that promise to me. On the bright side, the repair appears to be holding up. read more
