OVERALL : Our house is 86 years old and the old gal still has her original double-hung (6 over 1, sash-cord) windows (which we love!). We decided, in order to keep the charm of our Spanish style abode, we'd get our windows fixed (because some are painted shut - typical lol) instead of replaced with the typical vinyl counterparts. We called Fast Glass for a quote and was very impressed with how Loren (sp?) answered our questions. His prices are reasonable and there was no pressure or sleazy sales pitch. He has a set amount for his service and knows what he's doing. Loren arrived on time, was super friendly and even showed us the whole process in case we wanted to do it ourselves (not likely, but good to know!). Wonderful service! Called and was told to text him a picture of the glass and he would quote me. Received a quote about an hour later, and he came to my place about 45 minutes after accepting quote. So after navigating to their "official" entrance that is through an alley just east of the location I was greeted by a nice couple who assisted me with a few window screens that I needed. Their turnaround time was outstanding! I've gone to get window screens at other glass shops and have had to wait at least 24 hrs to pick them up. That was not the case with Fast Glass, they had 4 window screens ready for me in 15 minutes! Not only were they quick but they had very reasonable prices. They charge depending on size, but mine averaged $12 a piece for decent sized windows. If your in need of a quick window screen or glass needs make sure to give them a try. read more

Fast Glass....just like the name of his business....Today I called Lauren (I hope I'm spelling his name right) in the morning..left a message..after reading the reviews...even though you read a bad review doesn't always mean that the vendor is not good. I took a chance and left my call back info...When Lauren returned my call his connection was bad but I was patient and explain what I needed done. He asked if I can delay the work till next week and I said yes..but after carefully looking at my schedule I asked him it would be better if he could come by today...he said..I will call you when I can come by..he asked for my address, I live in Long Beach and he said "sure I know where that's at". About 90 minutes later he called and said he can come by shortly..in about 15 minutes he knock on my door, said he could finish the job in 15 minutes..ok he took 20 minutes, he asked if he could wash his hands..my 2 year old ran up to him..he picked him up and asked if he could worked the faucet...cute!.. On Tuesday Fast Glass came for a free estimate/ measurements. They came back less then 24 hours and replaced my patio glass door with tempered glass. I left my house key inside the house because I always use the battery operated lock keypad. Long story short, my battery died. I called the lock company and they said best they can do is give me 40% off a lock Smith. I didn't have time for that instead I chose to bust out a small window and crawl in the house. Lauren answered my phone call right away. He came in, took my broken window frame to his truck, replaced the rubber seal and glass and reinstalled it. Our order came out exactly to our specifications. It is my conversation and service that deserves the single star. I went to the published address for this company that is listed on Google, and let him know what time I was coming. Google lists this company as a 24 hr address, however he is often out in the field and you need to coordinate the time you come to the actual building when he is there, sporadically between 8 and 5. We then called and said I was late getting back to work trying to find his building and would try again another day. So, today I return to try again to pick up this piece of glass. I was told he will be back in 15 min. Called in 20 min, let the guy know I'm sitting in front of his building and was told I'm sitting in front of a building that has been abandoned for 15 years...now, how in the world would I know that? With the window locked, I assumed he was in the back working and would come open the door for me, as many small businesses do not leave their doors open all the time. Once I was told where to go, (chain link fence facing Casa Sanchez parking lot) I was greeted with a condescending remark that I should have kept reading his advertisement posters in the window, and I would have realized that I was at the wrong door. There should be better signage to direct your new customers where to go to pick up their orders. I'm not going to read a paragraph about what you offer for services to find the fine print. You would think during one of the many conversations I had with the owner he would have said "Gee, perhaps you're having trouble finding my business because our front door is really...." Nope. I don't appreciate the lack of customer service, will spread the word and will not do business here again. read more

It can be a little hard to get a hold of Lauren at Fast Glass because he's always out in the field, but don't get discouraged, be patient. I took out an old window air conditioner unit that was installed inside a 1960's metal window frame and needed replacement glass installed so I called Fast Glass. Lauren asked me to text him a photo of the window and the approximate dimensions, and he quoted me a price. I accepted and Lauren was there the next morning. You can tell Lauren is a genuinely happy person and he radiates positivity. He cleaned out the window frame, cut new glass out of his very professional vehicle, and installed the glass with a perfect glazing job. I hope I don't need another window pane replaced anytime soon, but if I did, I would definitely call Lauren at Fast Glass again. read more

I needed to replace some screens with the arrival of summer bugs. Encouraged by the Yelp ratings, I took my old screens in for repair. Fast Glass recommended rebuilding the frames as well as the screens, and James built them promptly while I waited. Once I got the new screens home, I found that two didn't fit just right. I called Fast Glass and they immediately rebuilt the frames to the necessary specifications, and drove them out to the house the same day. I own a business in Cerritos, and these guys are as good as it gets. I first used Fast Glass in December of last year because one of my storefront windows became cracked. They were able to come out the following day and do the repair without any problems. I called and got about 3 estimates from nearby competitors, and Fast Glass was by far the cheapest price. My store was broken into earlier this morning and my front door was shattered. I called them up at 5 am to see if they could help me out, and he was here by 7 to take measurements. I think he could tell that we were pretty stressed out and told us not to worry about anything. He was back by 10 with a new sheet of glass and the install was done within minutes. Super fair price (all my other colleagues say that they can't believe I paid such a low price), and super fast service. I have a coffee table that was made in 1970 and has a huge slab (5 foot x 2 1/2 foot and half inch thick) black glass on it. My kitten recently shattered the corner of the glass (by being a stupid kitten). I was devastated. We called Fast Glass to see if we could dump the glass at their store and the owner said to come on down. We had been quoted $500 to replace the glass from another store so we were on our way to ikea to buy a $100 coffee table to tide us over.
