    3 Deep-Fried OREOS

For a late night spot in Woodstock, I'm entertained! Lol We came to Fat Shack around 1 am and tried to keep it light, lol. The Fiancé ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, I ordered fries & fried oreos. At first glance, the philly looked disappointing, but the flavor was there & the bread was fresh, but not greasy like the philly's I'm used to and love! The fries were good, hot and fresh (always a plus). The fried oreos were good, but the dough was a bit thicker and on the pale side, but still good nonetheless! I would revisit Fat Shack! Especially since the only good things open late around here are literally just waffle house lol!

Great 1st experience here at Fat Shack. Ordered just the chicken fingers and fries to try it out with a side of honey mustard and buffalo ranch. The sauces were delicious. Everything was made fresh by the staff member working today and it was all very tasty. She was incredibly friendly and was taking orders + making the food. Everything was made quickly and efficiently. Would definitely be back to try more off the menu.

So my hopes weren't too high based on previous reviews but decided to give them a try as I was craving a Philly and the mentions about their Phillies were pretty good. Needless to say, I was not impressed with what I ordered. The philly did not have much meat in it and the taste wasn't there. The cheese fries came as a glob I guess from the cheese not being melty and warm/hot. Not really sure if I would give them another try.

    Fat Cow

I actually downloaded Yelp to make a review on this place. I don't know what they're expecting but, I'm surprised they're still in business. I decided to get their most popular sandwich, the cow and it was by far the most soggy, inedible, sloppy bs I've ever seen. I am by far no means a picky eater. This is just non- subjectively gross.

20 mins from Pine Mountain is this super cool eatery called Fat Shack. It's been on shark tank and they make 8" sandwich's with odd combinations. I got the "Fat Doobie" and it had mozzarella sticks, french fries, and chicken tenders all in one! Lol it was actually a lot better tasting than what I originally thought it would. I also got the fired cheesecake bites with strawberry sauce and it was amazing! The service was friendly and fast. Although its 35/40 mins from us with no traffic I'll definitely be back to try more of they famous sandwiches (:

Couldn't really ask more for some good soup food grub. Burgers were excellent. Never going through a cookout line again.

Waited almost an hour for wings and fries. Should've just gone with taco bell or something, this place isn't worth the hype at all.

Four days later and we are still dealing with food poisoning from our meal at the Fat Shack. Do not recommend.

The service was very good. Very polite and attentive. As an aside, I have to say that wanting a tip for just making sandwiches, is annoying. Anyway, I wound up tipping 10%,which was about $3.50. It's crazy how the prices jumped! $7.99 for a mini, which is 4 inches long. I got an Italian sub and got the small size for $10.99! And that's without even a pickle to keep it company! My husband ordered a tuna sub, a medium for $11.99! And an order of fries for $3.99. The fries were delicious, crispy and hot, right out of the fryer. The meat on my sub was indistinguishable. It tasted alright but not like a real Italian submarine. I have to add that the table was dirty and we had to clean it before sitting down. I guess we have to lower our expectations or just stay home.

The place was hopping with both dine-in and take-out orders, but there was an employee hustling to clean the tables on this Friday about 1PM. I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. There is a variety of seating with bar, booth, and table (different sizes).

When I saw the wall of freshly made bagels, I knew it was going to be good. My husband and I both were blown away of how fresh and well made these sandwiches were. Seriously, it was so good that I went back two days later and told my son he had to try it too. Unfortunately, the second experience was the complete opposite. My son picked up two sandwiches and brought them home, and they were so disappointing that neither of us even finished them. The bagels tasted stale, they weren't toasted, and there was barely any of the cream cheese dressing on them. My son actually thought I was crazy for telling him how delicious the sandwich was because what he brought home was nothing like what I had the first time. That's what makes it so disappointing. I know the sandwich CAN be really good because my first one was amazing. But based on my two experiences, it seems like the quality may depend on who is making your sandwich that day and whether the bagels are fresh. One big plus is that they have a lot of non-pork options, which I really appreciate as someone who doesn't eat pork. I'd still be willing to give them another try because that first sandwich was THAT good, but the second visit was extremely disappointing. Consistency definitely needs some work.

The staff was very helpful in trying to find us something safe to eat because we have multiple medical dietary restrictions. Everything was HOT and delicious! We tried 3 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, fries and tots all were good. Now this is greasy diner food so don't go in with unrealistic expectations. But this is a family place and a great option for the GF community. We will definitely be back! Just so you know...the chicken tenders, fried pickles and onion rings can be GF but are NOT dairy free. The fries and buns are GF and DF. MY only note we went on a Saturday and the bathroom floors were sticky and the booths needed a better wipe down. I know it's hard to get everything done but a little cleaner would have kicked it up to a 5 Star for me.
