We were trying to order some Hawaiian BBQ one night, but they closed early since it was a weeknight. We ended up a burger since we couldn't get the Hawaiian, so we picked this place randomly since it was relatively close to us and had pretty good reviews. So let me say if you want a Philly around lunch time in Seattle skip this place. The Philly is bland as hell and I even ordered extra meat and cheese and it had very little cheese on it. I guess the hype is that that they make other of the wall sandwiches with chicken finger and French fires on it but with a Philly this bald you have to do something to make up for the lack of flavor. There is a way better Philly place right down the street go there if you want a Philly you will get a way better deal and better products. After a loss like the one we took, the only joy is eating a burger. So looking around the city we found "Fat Shack." It is a modern beer house, slash, burger joint. I won't take off for the Seahawks pride, so I will continue. When you walk in you wait on line to put in your order. You can also sit at the bar to try the selection of beers. Once I went to order I placed it and they ask for your name. You sit (if you can find seating) and wait till they call your name. Once my name was called, they brought the meal to the table. Now before I talk about the food, I want to talk about a situation that happened in the restaurant. A man employee was dropping food off and turning back to the kitchen. He accidentally bumped into a woman, who we will call Karen for context. She rudely told the man, "you bumped into me!" He apologized and explained it was a accident. She wanted no part in his apology and cursed him off. Little did she know, it was the owner and he told her to leave. He said no one should be that disrespectful. She said it wasn't a accident and he told her okay, let's look at the camera. Once he walked to the back, she ran out and everyone in the restaurant cheered. He handled it the right way. That was more excitement then watching the Giants lose. Now back to the food. The food was delicious! The burger was juicy with flavor. The fries were crispy and really crispy. Popular higher end fast restaurant in the south end of down town. It was a couple blocks from King station and a great alternative to anything served on Amtrak (close to Lumen field as well). Service was fast and friendly. It was my first time and I had not heard of the franchise but it felt well above the mean for the category. Very clean inside with an easy to read menu. I opted for a simple burger as the sandwich I wanted had a calorie range in the 2000's. The burger was good but I would imagine it's all the other elements (creative menu, location, cleanliness, vibe, staff) that make this a local fav. The ambience was chill probably because it was pretty empty. I'm sure it starts bumping after the peeps leave the surrounding clubs. The food was not that impressive, you have a plethora of fillings for your burger. Mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers, cheesesteak, bacon, Mac n cheese, French fries, onion rings, fried pickles and I'm sure I missed some. But you can have all that on a burger. If you like carnival food, this is a slightly elevated version of that. Still trash in terms of health but def a guilty pleasure worth having on occasion. The burger is quite delicious! This is probably the main thing I eat here because it's really tasty!! I don't eat burgers very often but when I crave one this is actually where I usually think of satisfying that craving. Their chicken tenders are also pretty great--always tender and good quality chicken. The shakes are good but extremely sweet, and I highly recommend the cheesecake bites as well. She kept her composure and was having fun and doing the best she could given a line out the door and around the corner .. with only three staff members working total . Ok mixed bag of reviews for this place. It's a fat sandwich place so honestly the bare minimum would normally get 5 stars and I've had 5 star experiences in the past. But tonight I have placed two orders via door dash with both orders being messed up. I did not order anything complex I just asked for 1 ingredient to not be included on my sandwich, this should be as simple as not drowning the sandwich in honey mustard which in the order noted "NO HONEY MUSTARD" please train your employees to read the order slips. There are not many things more disappointing then waiting not only once but twice for an order to be delivered for both of them to not be edible. read more

They were all fresh, hot, and delicious Service was top notch.
