Hubby got the second-to-hottest level, Lift-Off, in his sandwich, and he said it was actually bearable, nothing like the Vindiktive Wings (down the street bar) super-spicy sauce, which will kill you. He's tempted to go back and get the super-super-hot, Houston, We Have A Problem!, spicy level next time (and sign the waiver), lol. We might do it. I got the third-to-last hottest level, Spicy, for my sandwich, and it was just right, plenty of flavor and spice. I'll also go to the second to last spice level next time, just to challenge my poor intenstines and stomach, ha ah. As for the ingredients, I'd say the chicken was the best part, pretty much the only ingredient of quality, the Mac & Cheese was overcooked, and the cheeses were all fakey-cheesy tasting, the breads were meh. It works out, though, because the chicken is really the main selling point here, and it happens to be the best quality. Other than that, the prices were relatively affordable, and the service was impeccable. The cashier helping us was amazing. She took the time to walk us through the menu and gave us recommendations on the level of spice to order based on our preferences, which really stood out to me. The place is also very well staffed, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. They kept the place clean, constantly wiping the counters and floors while we ate our meal. Giving it 4/5 only because of the characters that unfortunately walk in here. Just have to be careful, unfortunately. Thankfully, I wasn't alone, so it was all good, but in case someone is and is on the jumpier side. Unknowingly I ate almost 3000 calories in one sitting. The chicken is just so good. I ordered this for pickup on Uber Eats and there was a 30% off promo and the chicken tender add-on was cheaper than a la carte face value, so I ended up getting the original sandwich and tender combo with fries, plus a chicken tender add-on. So 1 sandwich with fries and 2 tenders. I got pretty full at the end obviously, but I probably should not have looked at the nutrition facts - ignorance is bliss I suppose. Value wise is fine even at regular pricing since the food is solid and large portions. The chicken is so juicy and the breading is crispy. The lone tender placed on top of the fries was okay as it got a bit soggy, but the other chicken pieces were spot on. The sandwich is really good. The fries were very underwhelming, but I cannot complain too much as it was included in the order. What an awesome place this is! They are open late. We went on a Sunday late night and there were barely busy. The server was a gem of a person and offered for us to try the sample so we can decide how hot we wanted our chicken and after also offered a few sips of their lemonade to cool off. For a 3 tenders and fries order this was a lot bigger than I thought! The three flavors we chose were mild, buffalo, and habanero. On each stack is a flag identifying which level of spice it is. Spicy is truly a kicker as expected!. The mild tender has a gentle kick to it but the buffalo was definitely disappointing out the of three-- it tasted closer to boiled chicken drenched in buffalo sauce. It's about 6 tenders for the price of 3 tenders for 20$ or maybe I just lucked out today! If its a nice day they open the sliding windows which creates a really fun indoor outdoor dining experience. While at night, the illuminated decor really mezmorizes. The parking situation only adds to the club ascetic. Its very limited street parking so theres a chance youll have to park a block so so away. As you approach youll probably hear the music bumping and conversations more and more. You might even have to wait in a long line thats wraps around. When you finally get to the front youll be grated by great personalities ready to help you. Their menu is pretty simple. They offer chicken tender based dishes along with several options for side dishes. For each main dish youll get to pick a sauce. All of these menu items are displayed on their big and bright monitors. The food isnt cheap, but it is beautiful and delicious. All of my chicken was so juicy. Oddly Half of one of my tenders did have a weird chewy/dry texture while still being juicy. Either way my food was extra saucy by default just how I love it. I made so much mess I wish I used a fork and knife instead of just my bare hands. Overall I really feel like this place delivers. Idk if the people who run this spot really care about customers and food or if they or just following some really cool template. I just hope they keep up the good work. If this is any indication of how good hot chicken is in Houston, then there's no incentive for me to go visit anytime soon. The chicken had great flavor and heat, let's get that out of the way first. I ordered buffalo and my wife got medium, and there was good heat on both. But the sauces and heat did a decent job mashing the stringy dried chicken. The chicken wasn't juicy at all, and it tasted chewy and old. The mac, for an extra dollar add-on, was soup. Macaroni pieces hidden in a soup of golden melted cheese. It was not bad, but damn, I had to go fishing in that bowl of liquid cheese. Probably a nightmare for someone that's lactose intolerant (my case is ok, but it was a bit too much that I couldn't finish it). Honestly, the sauces were the saving grace for this chicken. I was really excited to try this place out. I spent over $70 for 4 meals and did a takeout. The best thing was the mac n cheese. The fries were basic and nothing to rave about. I ordered mild, medium and spicy chicken tenders and nuggets. They practically all tasted spicy. My daughter couldn't eat her mild chicken nuggets because they were too spicy. The medium chicken tenders were extremely spicy and no amount of house sauce made it pleasant to enjoy these tenders. It just recently opened so I think the employees are still in training on how to spice the chicken up properly. I'm hoping to give it another try in a few months. First visit was LATE night as heck, as in 2am - no joke! This was an impressive visit. Initially I was sketched out about parking due to the time of day and amount of transient folks, but it was fine. I absolutely love that they have a set that includes 1 chicken sandwich, 1 tender, and fries - (this is like my dream combo) which I got, and we also got a 2-piece tender set with fries. I got spice level spicy (comparable to habanero), and the 2-piece was medium. The SHU difference is 120K. I was very happy with my spice level, the medium level tastes like nothing (to me! personal opinion). I would not try their highest level (it's a $2 surcharge plus waiver), but I would try the next level which is called liftoff at 600K SHU. Everything was tender and tasty. I liked their fries too! Even at 2am; the service was attentive and fast. The staff was funny, thoughtful, and on top of things. I was really surprised by the quality of service, food and cleanliness. 5/5 highly recommend. I would say if you're gonna get a sandwich (especially the one with the slaw), I would recommend eating it fresh. I don't see it holding up without getting soggy if you left it in the box for too long. I tried it in my car right away and it was good. The nuggets were crispy and the perfect bite size, plenty of meat in those things. The house sauce was a nice surprise, it was a little spicy too.
