Original Hot Chicken Sandwich, tenders - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

Unknowingly I ate almost 3000 calories in one sitting. The chicken is just so good. I ordered this for pickup on Uber Eats and there was a 30% off promo and the chicken tender add-on was cheaper than a la carte face value, so I ended up getting the original sandwich and tender combo with fries, plus a chicken tender add-on. So 1 sandwich with fries and 2 tenders. I got pretty full at the end obviously, but I probably should not have looked at the nutrition facts - ignorance is bliss I suppose. Value wise is fine even at regular pricing since the food is solid and large portions. The chicken is so juicy and the breading is crispy. The lone tender placed on top of the fries was okay as it got a bit soggy, but the other chicken pieces were spot on. The sandwich is really good. The fries were very underwhelming, but I cannot complain too much as it was included in the order. I think if I come back, I will pace myself and not devour the whole order as while it is so good, it is definitely not the healthiest option in the block.

What an awesome place this is! They are open late. We went on a Sunday late night and there were barely busy. The server was a gem of a person and offered for us to try the sample so we can decide how hot we wanted our chicken and after also offered a few sips of their lemonade to cool off. Overall a tasty meal.

For a 3 tenders and fries order this was a lot bigger than I thought! The three flavors we chose were mild, buffalo, and habanero. On each stack is a flag identifying which level of spice it is. Spicy is truly a kicker as expected!. The mild tender has a gentle kick to it but the buffalo was definitely disappointing out the of three-- it tasted closer to boiled chicken drenched in buffalo sauce. It's about 6 tenders for the price of 3 tenders for 20$ or maybe I just lucked out today! Love that water cups are offered and how clean the restroom is as well The chicken tastes a little dryer than the first time I had it but it's still not too bad.

Made a stop during lunch time on the weekend and it was pretty busy but not too bad! The parking in the area is pretty challenging so I would recommend giving yourself some time to find street parking near by. My partner and I visited as part of a yelp event and we decided to order a chicken sandwich meal which came with fries. I did not get any heat with my sandwich which may have been a better choice. The sandwich itself was dressed well but I wish the chicken itself was crispier. The sauce that came with the fries was really good and reminded me of canes sauce. The service was also very fast and friendly. I would not say this place stands out too much and with the difficult parking, it may not be a stop I go to again.

This place was under construction for what felt like forever, and was excited to try it out once it finally opened. I got one buffalo and one mild tender with a waffle, fries, house sauce, and a soft drink. The tenders and fries were seasoned well and tasted great, but came out a littler colder than I'd like. The house sauce is absolutely worth getting. I appreciate that their sauce makes them more unique than most places' that pretend like they invented thousand island dressing. The waffle was my favorite, just a solid Belgian waffle. I would come back for the Belgian waffle itself. Overall still a fast food place, but a pretty decent one and probably my favorite one in the area, so will be coming again!

From parking all the way to relaxing a bit after finishing the food, my experience was giving club vibes. Every customer was legit vibing out my entire visit. Out of all the chicken based places ive been to, this spot is top tier. I cant decide if the most vibrant time to visit is during night or during the day. If its a nice day they open the sliding windows which creates a really fun indoor outdoor dining experience. While at night, the illuminated decor really mezmorizes. The parking situation only adds to the club ascetic. Its very limited street parking so theres a chance youll have to park a block so so away. As you approach youll probably hear the music bumping and conversations more and more. You might even have to wait in a long line thats wraps around. When you finally get to the front youll be grated by great personalities ready to help you. Their menu is pretty simple. They offer chicken tender based dishes along with several options for side dishes. For each main dish youll get to pick a sauce. All of these menu items are displayed on their big and bright monitors. The food isnt cheap, but it is beautiful and delicious. All of my chicken was so juicy. Oddly Half of one of my tenders did have a weird chewy/dry texture while still being juicy. Either way my food was extra saucy by default just how I love it. I made so much mess I wish I used a fork and knife instead of just my bare hands. Overall I really feel like this place delivers. Idk if the people who run this spot really care about customers and food or if they or just following some really cool template. I just hope they keep up the good work. I forsure recommend everyone should experience this place at least once. I also recommend going with at least one friend.

Houston Hot Chicken is a great addition to the food scene near the Pacific Science Center. They had a very interesting atmosphere inside, pretty dark aesthetic but with some shiny embelleshments. The restaurant was relatively small but had ample seating inside for about 30. The staff were really nice and kept checking in on every group of diners inside to make sure their experience was great. There isn't a parking lot so it's street parking. Staff: Really Nice (5/5) Sanitation: Really Clean (5/5) 3 Tender Combo (4/5) I thought the 3 tender combo was great. You can choose a different spice level for each tender. I ended up getting Mild, Buffalo, and Medium. I would definitely get the medium again but it had a bit of a kick to it. The fries were crispy and the house sauce tasted like your typical campfire esque sauce. Loaded Fries (4/5) The loaded fries seemed like it came with 2 tenders cut up and a lot more fries and pickles. definitely could be a good choice if you like more fries.

Houston TX Hot Chicken delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the space hits you with a modern, urban vibe. The interior blends an industrial look exposed ductwork, dark ceilings, and concrete floors with warm wood accents and hanging Edison-style lights. The neon lit counters and colorful mural (with the sunglasses) really stand out, giving the spot a trendy, late night city feel. It's the kind of place that feels alive, especially at night. Food wise, everything impressed. We ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with buffalo sauce and mac & cheese, and the chicken was juicy honestly surprising for a fast casual spot. Paired with the house sauce and cilantro sauce (the cilantro was my favorite), it hit perfectly. The mac and cheese was creamy, rich, and easily one of the best I've had at a fast food spot. Also tried the 5 piece chicken nuggets with honey rub, and those were just as juicy and flavorful sweet, savory, and addictive. We also got a cucumber watermelon drink, which was super refreshing and balanced out the heat from the chicken really well. Customer service was great no rush at all, and the cashier took time to explain the menu clearly. Bonus: They're open late until 1AM, which makes this a clutch late night food spot. Overall: Great vibes, standout sauces, and some of the juiciest chicken you'll find in this category.

I came for dinner on a saturday and there were a good amount of people. I got the 3 tenders and fries set, and the food came out pretty quick. I got the medium spice level and it was a just right for me. The chicken wasn't dry in the tenders, but I tried to chicken sandwich as well and did not like the chicken in it (it was smaller and very dry). I would recommend the tenders instead. The house sauce is a bit too sweet for me though. The restaurant is very clean and large and the workers are very friendly .

This is a cool spot to visit with friends. The team was very friendly and the food came out fresh. As a person that isn't really into spicy food, I was happy to see that they had a wide range of spice levels. It would be nice if they added more seating.

Houston Texas Hot Chicken is by far one of the best fried chicken sandwich shops around town. I've tried a few and have to admit the crunch factor, seasoning and value one gets for their sandwich meal is worth it. Located off Denny Way, finding parking could be tricky but those that venture out to Seattle Center, Space Needle or even a show or game at Climate Pledge can easily take a short walk to get to the restaurant. With friendly staff, clean environment and large space, you can come with family or friends to enjoy a meal. I came here with my husband. We both got a separate meal ($15 but free with a Yelp elite event) that includes a chicken sandwich, a chicken tender and a side of our choice. I recommend the mac 'n cheese because c'mon, how do you not want that?! My husband choice house crinkle fries, also a solid choice. The esthetic of the metal trays with parchment lining gives fun fast food. There are also so many different sauces to choose from, 12 - I believe! You're bound to find a dip to accompany your tenders or fries. I highly recommend folks to come try, you won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed my meal here! All the workers were super friendly and were attentive. The vibes were good and the food was solid. We got the mango chicken fries and the Belgian waffle and tenders. I prefer my chicken a bit juicier but it flavored really well and paired well with everything else!

The ube pancakes lived up to the hype! not too sweet, perfect texture, and a flavor that was so perfect. The combo plate was amazing and I could eat a ton of their lumpia. Ambiance is homey and comfy, with photos all over the walls and a lively atmosphere. The owner himself came to chat with us about the food. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
