Let me start by telling you how my son just did a school trip with his Christian school doing community service and they have one hour for lunch decides they all wanna go to this fat burger, well where I start let me guess the waitress doesn't know how to take an order and put it in She gives the order to the wrong person without checking what they ordered then he gets his food at the end of his lunch shift for school right he's taking a field trip and they're doing community service. Good for other people and not to mention it's overpriced then her food comes and it's incorrect and the girl goes. Oh I forgot I gave it to somebody else. What's funny is he was even sitting at the table waiting and the girl said I'll bring it right to you and it's stayed on the shelf. He had to go back and ask a third time for his food and you guys still couldn't handle it. I would tell anybody whoever ever wants any type of food to keep away from your establishment because obviously they don't know how to handle business horrible service horrible food don't waste your money. While visiting Dallas I met my uncle here for lunch. Heard a lot of things about this place and it delivered. I ordered the 1000 Island burger which was very tasting and filling... topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles with 1000 Island dressing. I was happy to try a burger from here, but honestly, the burgers we had were nothing to write home about. Too bad, because there is so much potential for a restaurant that serves a freshly made burger. The burger patty seemed to be made fresh, but it was severely lacking seasoning. I ordered the Western Bacon BBQ burger. The BBQ sauce was very tangy - too tangy, the tomato really thick and underripe (you need to be a beaver to bite through it), and the onion rings were massive and lacking seasoning. I'm sorry to say, the whole thing was just bland, mediocre and quite expensive. I believe we paid roughly $36. for two burgers, fries, and a drink (the fries were good though). I only encountered one employee who was manning the register, and even she seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. An all around disappointment. read more

2/4/24 I visited this establishment last Friday, and it will be my first and last time. Where to start? I ordered the 1/3lb burger with the works(minus the sweet relish), then I upgraded to the onion rings(instead of fries) and shake instead of soda. I did not know they had fresh lemonade. My total was $24 with 10% tip!!! 30mns pass, and my 2 coworkers finally got their food. Note: There were only 2 people in the restaurant before us, 2 delivery drivers that came in after, and a couple with 2 small children and another couple that sat after us. All received their food before I got mine. 45 minutes later, the lady at the counter came with my food and explained my order was comped, and she apologized. That is the only reason I have this place 2 Stars instead of 1. Now to the food!!! The burger tastes Exactly like a Sonic buger, to the T. The onion rings were undercooked and so salty, I could only eat a couple. The vanilla shake was really good, and it deserves a star. I really love there burgers. The meat is seasoned very well. They don't have the average burgers like McDonald's or Burger King. They are on the range of homemade burger at home. The only reason why they don't get 5 stars is because they are slow. Even if u order it online u still are there 15 mins later. If they get there timing together they would be great. read more

This place is close to home so I decide to stop by and check them out. I ordered the #1, it took longer than expected but it was on weekend and they were busy. I expected a normal fast food type of burger but was surprised buns were toasted and the meat was grilled to a good well finish. My daughter chose Fatburger as our lunch stop when we were out and about on a gorgeous sun shiny afternoon. The staff was super friendly. And the service was super slow. But it was busy. My daughter ordered the Western Bacon BBQ Fatburger which she devoured. I ordered the chili cheese dog and waited quite awhile to receive it. One small issue was that I requested mustard and onions and once it was delivered both were missing. And the bun was really hard in some places like it was becoming stale. I'm definitely recommending the burgers over the chili dog. One slight turn off was that the kind lady interacting with customers brought one small milkshake sample to our table with clearly two adult females sitting there and she offered the one single sample to me. I love Fatburger - love it. Those fat fries are delicious. But I can't make myself go there anymore - their demands for a tip are outrageous. Tipping employees is supposed to reward good service, not for me to supplement the employee salary. That is the responsibility of Fat Burger - THEY are supposed to pay their employees a living wage. The option to leave no tip is not an option on the first screen so you have to scroll to the next screen (in front of the employee) just to get to it. So then you have the double whammy of guilt and worry that an employee will screw with your food. Plus tipping in advance is crazy. You don't know if your food will be any good or if the restaurant atmosphere will be acceptable. You don't get any more service than a Whataburger. You stand in a long line to get to the counter, place your order, get handed an empty cup, and then someone brings you food. What about this deserves a tip? I don't get to sit in comfort at a table and wait for someone to come and take my order. I even have to fill my own drink and get up for a refill. read more

Came here to hang with a friend so I just ordered a margarita and onion rings. Funny combo, but both were great. The margarita was strong and tasty, nice balance, not too sweet. The onion rings were big and crispy. My friend ordered a full meal and I got the Oreo milkshake for my hubby who was at home. He ate it the next day and still raves how good it was even after an overnight stay in the freezer. The owners came out and greeted us and checked in with us as well. This review is late but I promised that I would write and tell the manager of this location how lucky they are to have two wonderful ladies such as Honey and TI working in this location. I was visiting Arlington to see a Rangers baseball game and got lost after the game because I walk with a cane and was forced out the wrong door and wandered around the area for over an hour till I found my car. So I tried to get out of town and drove to an area that I knew that a Burger Fi was to pick up lunch. I saw they moved out and a Fatburger had moved in so I tried to find a parking space near the restaurant. I walked over and stood near the back and finally had to sit down after getting jostled by a bunch of youngsters pushing and shoving each other. I saw and read the menu because I had never been at a Fatburger before. Then Honey came over and asked if she could help me. I said I had never been to a Fatburger before and she explained the menu and helped me order. I went and got my drink and sat down and waited and then after a while TI brought me my order and I sat for a while longer because my parking spot was about 1/2 way across the parking lot. I had not gotten their names so I waited till everything died down so I could get their names and thank them for their help and head home. I first went to Fatburger on Saturday and the burgers, wings and fries were delicious. The service was good that day and it wasn't too busy. And they have nice diner feel and decor. It is a bit pricey though. So I ordered online on their website today, 1and they totally screwed up on the order. I asked for gluten free bun for one of the burgers and they gave me a burger with no buns. Also i ordered TWO fat fries and I only got one order. Of course they package everything up and staple so you can't check it when picking up. Anyways my upset about the takeout service paying for items I never got! We have dined at the other Fatburger in NRH, so we were so excited that we were getting one here in Arlington, 2 miles from our house. We have given this location 2 tries, and they messed up my burger the first time, so of course, we gave them another try because they are new. This time, they took 45 solid minutes to make our food, after we stood in line for about 15 minutes behind two people. If we ever crave a Fatburger, we will gladly drive the extra miles to the NRH location, and wait no more than 10 minutes for our food. *The staff in Arlington are very friendly though* read more
