I never thought I'd write a review for a burger place, but after my last experience at the Sherman Oaks Fat Burger, I just had to. This place is WAY over priced! I drive all over the City for work and this Fat Burger location is at least 30% more than other Fat Burgers. Why?. Almost $12 for a turkey "DEAL" with cheese?! Really? I can go to Carl's Jr and get two meals for that price. Totally ridiculous! On top of it when I was in there today, the burger was slopped together. It was COLD and it looked like somebody assembled it blind. Very unappetizing. On top of it the fries were cold! All this and the service there comes with an attitude. Tip jar right in your face? Really? After spending almost $12 for a lousy meal, I think not! I don't mind paying a reasonable price for something. But I hate walking out the door feeling like I was given some slop and ripped off in the process. That is how I felt today. I will never go back to this Fat Burger location again. I don't know who owns this particular store, but they are based on the other reviews as well, they need to rethink what they're doing. It is NOT working! read more

Hadn't been to Fatburger for a while but glad I made it in last night after saying no way to the line at In n Out. The classics (burger, turkey burger, onion rings and fries)were as great as I remember and the Impossible burger is a nice addition for my vegan friends. Freestyle Coke machine with a ridiculous number of drink options to wash things down makes for an all around great experience. Don't forget a shake if you still have room, they make some good ones. read more

Ordered chili cheese fries through here. It gave me a pickup time but of course, when I arrived 5 minutes after the pickup time, they had not even started to make it yet lol. Wow! I remember I use to like Fatburger when it first came out a while back. I haven't had it for a long, long time. I was extremely disappointed. The burger was terribly salty. I'm glad I only ordered the baby burger. The chili cheese fries were OK, nothing to cheer for. I think I'll stick with my In & Out Burger. On a good note, they are open late if you ever feel like a salty burger at 3am. read more

Although the food is ok, the staff talk too much and don't act professional. There is some type of a compressor making a loud buzzing noise...in the eating area where the customers are on top of the juke box playing. VERY ANNOYING. Expensive food, dirty tables and chairs. Savahna ruining this place. Completely unprofessional arrogant service. Waited to her to even show up on register for few minutes. Came out in some black hoody with no name tag. Upon paying 7 dollars she harrassed me to provide ID when I payed with debit card which doesnt require any ID confirmation. Finally she "did me a favor for last time" and just charged me for food. I canceled right away and wrote this to her boss. teach her some customer service skill and lessons on profiling customers - previous girl that worked there at least had more common sense. On another note she deserves this 10 buks an hour job with such demeanor anyway just keep her away from the kitchen - I wouldnt even trust her with a hotdog! read more

Before I say anything about the food here let's talk about how filthy dirty this restaurant is. I came here Sunday afternoon around 4 and ordered 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger to go with everything on it. As I waited for my order, looked around and saw how filthy the tables were and food all over the floor and nobody attempting to clean it up. Somebody needs to bring a power washer to this place and completely power wash the entire surrounding area. The person that took my order could not even get my name right. When I arrive home and open up this burger it was way overdone with sprinkles of onions and the thinesd piece of bacon and cheese I have ever seen in my life. No lettuce, tomato or any dressing whatsoever. I remember this place years ago and it used to be good. I also saw it on Undercover Boss some years ago and it looks like they cared about there restaurant but I can see that's no longer a concern of theirs. I will never set foot in this filthy restaurant ever again. It is truly disgusting and the food is worse than disgusting. read more

(Though this is no diss on In 'n Out... there's just no comparison.) It's a bit pricier than most and a bit more of a wait, but worth it in ALL WAYS. open very late nights. serves burgers, hot dogs, and fries, occasionally hot. patties are indeed fat, compared to many other fast-foodish burgers. outdoor seating. lemonade is pretty tasty. those are the highlights. pricey -- enjoy your 99c upcharge for every add-on; big fat deals on burger, fries, and drink only save 50c, enough to get you another half slice of cheese. burgers are under-seasoned to the point of flavorless. wide variety of sodas, but they all come out of the dispenser's one spout so everything has an aftertaste of everything else. i've had the turkeyburger here and at another location and both times they went through me like a dolphin on a waterslide. ignore their tip box, you still get the same cement-headed service and dull product whether you drop change in the "skinny tip" slot, bills in the "fat tip" slot, or nothing at all. with the "fat tip" the order taker rings a desk bell and calls out "fat tip!" and i guess you're supposed to be entertained by that because nobody on the kitchen side is. my amusement was watching the late-night counterboy casanova trying to run game on a customer in front of her date. playas gonna play. on top of that, the old jukebox is gone. the whole thing, it should be better. read more

2/5 stars for shitty customer service! :) I've never experienced so much attitude from a simple, "Should I get the pumpkin pie milkshake or water?" The burgers were great, but we received enough attitude to keep us away for a life time. I'm truly sorry that the employees aren't happy, but that doesn't justify the way they treat the customers. Everything from the 24 hour service, to the outside counter and seating, to the outside bathrooms, to the filthy floors gives this place its flavor.
