I typically like Fazolis. I'm fully aware it's fast food Italian. I would customarily expect a clean restaurant but not a high class feel. This place is the dirtiest I've seen in fast food. Worse than many McDonald. The seats are badly deteriorated. The floors are disgusting and discolored. The tile work is broken all over. Almost EVERY booth needed cleaning and some sort of repair. This place could be closed for a month for repairs/cleaning and probably still be in poor shape. read more

So, so bad. I had a sudden pregnancy craving for breadsticks and frozen lemonade so I begged my husband to go through the drive through. No joke, we were the only car in line and the staff just couldn't figure out our order. We had to repeat and then repeat again and then clarify and then start over. This lasted FAR too long. My husband finally gave up and just drove to the payment window. The problems continued. They forgot my drink. They couldn't seem to count how many breadsticks should go in a bag. The breadsticks were hard and stale without that buttery hot goodness that usually goes along with a Fazoli's run. Again I come to this restaurant during the day instead of the evening hoping that this shift has respectful kind hard-working employees that will do the job right. I found that even though they move faster than the evening shift the level of respect and kindness they show their customers is subpar. Slap together food not putting lids completely on containers throw it out the window at the customer in the drive-through. Asked the lady for some napkins and she handed me a wadded up Mess of napkins said Very quickly have a nice day and slam the drive-through window! Whoever is in charge of managing this location really needs to take note of who they're hiring and what they're doing while they're working it's horrible and I can't see this place lasting too long running the way it is. I ordered food online and opted to pick-up in the drive-thru. The wait time for the food was 30 minutes out......which seems ridiculous for reheated spaghetti and breadsticks. Waiting in the drive-thru line to pick up the food was painful. Each vehicle in front of us had to wait at the speakerbox for extremely long periods of time. When we finally reached it, the guy asked us to "hold on". Ten minutes later the guy hadn't come back so I just walked inside to ask for my food. Once inside the restaurant I asked for the food and got a finger pointing to a shelf near where other customers were standing. The Alfredo Sauce I ordered was missing, no forks, no napkins, the breadsticks looked like they had been kicked around a little bit.....overall though, the food actually tasted pretty good. I only saw two employees working during a dinner rush and I understand that is the norm for many restaurants but these guys didn't seem to care about anything going on around them....no sense of urgency, staring into space, no acknowledgement of customers. read more

Clearly better management and staffing needs to be put in place. It's a shame how negative of a turn this place has taken. What used to be a wonderful, family dining environment, with fast and friendly service- is now quite opposite. I have been here three times this past month. the wait time increasing each time I have gone, along with worse service. The teenagers working were on their phones in the back- while wearing their gloves, but one young lady who was taking our orders seemed to be very overwhelmed and in distress, i felt for her. One woman ordered us to pull forward in a very rude fashion- though I would assume she may be fed up with how stressed they were. We waited for 35 minutes because the "sauce and breadsticks" weren't ready. When your business relies on both sauce and bread- they should always be ready. I understand things aren't always what they seem on the outside, and while the food was delicious, I think this place needs to be re-evaluated by store managers. read more

We had a coupon, so we thought we'd try Fazolis again. We ordered the classic sampler platter. Coupon stated that one could receive $2 off sampler for up to 4 orders. Cashier seemed like she had never before seen a coupon. We should have received $4 off our order but she only gave us $3 off. Ok not really a big deal. She was dim, and it didn't seem worth arguing about. Salad was brown and wilted. Tray given by cashier was dirty. Went to get drink. Everything was filthy. Drink machine was not properly filled. Silverware seemed unhygienic. We sat and waited for our food. Breadsticks were yummy. Sampler platter was just ok. Not worth going back. The food was good taste wise but most of the broccoli in my pasta was all brown. My sisters alfredo wasn't warm at all, and we had to use a dirty table because my grandmother can't make it to the back of the restaurant and the entire front halves tables were sticky and full of crumbs. Last time we came here the service was great and we were checked on many times throughout the meal. This time we weren't checked on at all and our waitress was very cold the very few interactions we had with her. The napkin dispensers weren't filled and the counter where you get napkins, silverware, and drinks were so dirty we almost left without our food. They were not busy at all (I've worked in food service so I understand during the lunch and dinner rush things get a little crazy) so I don't understand why it was so dirty in there. read more

When we first got here I realized most of the tables were dirty. My grandfather went to get a fountain drink and there were 0 drinks available except for diet sodas. Got coupons in the mail. Store 1805 is the only Fazolis in Muskegon County. 1. When ordering online, no place to use coupons 2. Store would not honor coupon. They said they didn't know about them, even though there was a copy pinned to their wall. 3. Cashier not too motivated. Our food was ready when we got there, and we ended up waiting 15 minutes for a to-go order that was already done. There was no one ahead of us. 4. Food was cold and miserable 5. Asked for a refund before we got our food as the service sucked and they were taking forever to get us our food. They refused. As they brought us out the rest of our food asked if we really wanted a refund we said yes NEVER got it. Asked the manager about it she refused again. I had an online order ready for pickup at 6:25pm. I arrived at the restaurant who's inside was not open and had to sit in the drive thru for over 30 mins when I got to the window I was told to pull ahead and waited for another 10 mins plus, when they never came I saw another person coming out the side door and went in myself, I asked for my order and they talked to their coworkers about it without responding to me at all where it was or when it would be done. A guy that was standing waiting for a delivery order saw my food was on the shelve next to him THE ENTIRE TIME. I will NEVER order from here again in my life nor will my boyfriend we will never sit through that experience again. Very disappointed. I usually LOVE Fazolis...but it was absolutely disgusting from the moment we stepped inside. Tables were sticky, carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed all week, flies were buzzing everywhere, and trash cans were full to the max. I've never experienced such horrible customer service as well. Many of the employees seemed to not know how to answer questions or help guests. We paid extra for a drink but the machine was completely out of everything but sparking water, and when asked to refill it, they simply stated, "we're out of Coke." Like I said, very disappointed since I've been coming here for years and have loved it in the past. Horrible. Had the Combo plate as I have a few times before and it was terrible. The lasagna was teeny and they had a ton of spaghetti on the plate to make up the difference. Super disappointed with the Jenison location! Every time I go there I say it's my last . . . but I try to give them a chance and they blow it every time. Recently I've been hesitant to write poor reviews about restaurants as they're having a hard time staffing. But this Fazoli's continues to set the bar at all new lows. Drive thru is ALWAYS abysmally slow to the point where they deliver food to cars 2 deep past the pay window within 5 mins. Around mid December '21 there apparently was substantial tension between the manager and his staff causing the staff to be very apathetic and unmotivated. Exchange of terse words in passing, slow service, etc. The manager delivered our food (dine-in) and complained to us about his employees and invited us to apply for a job there. The most recent visit (dine-in) we heard an employee (presumably on break or clocking out) say, "I just wanna burn this f****** place the ground...". My wife and I both had shocked looks and were at a loss for words. As I commonly use humor as a defense mechanism force a fake chuckle and say, "Just give us both a heads up warning." The only this keeping us there at this point was nostalgia for the Fazolis of bygone days. The booths are i. Disrepair and many seats are not fastened to benches. One booth table is listing appx 15 degrees away from the wall, etc. The food was slow to come out, lasagna was over salted, bread stocked were soggy, and the spaghetti and meatballs were cold upon arrival. We will NOT be returning to this location or possibly any unless I see an "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT/OWNERSHIP" banner. read more

We really want to like this place, but it gets worse every time we give it a try. Last night ordered an Ultimate Sampler with fettuccine alfredo, penne, spaghetti and lasagna. Generally, most of the food was OK except for the lasagna. The piece brought out with the meal was clearly undercooked as the bottom noodle was so hard, you couldn't cut it with a knife, let alone eat/chew it. I returned to the counter to request a different piece, one that was properly cooked. The waitress took my plate and went back to the food line where a her and the line cooks began discussing how there was nothing wrong with it (easy to hear the conversation through the opening into the kitchen area). After several minutes, I was finally given a different piece with a half-hearted apology. I returned to the table only to find this one was undercooked as well. Again, noodles toward the bottom so hard that you couldn't cut it with a knife or eat it. In fact, it was so hard that when lifted and dropped with a fork, it 'tinked' when hitting the plate. Really? You expect me to eat this, let alone pay for it? I again returned to the counter where the same waitress assisted me. She again brought the plate back to the food line where the conversation between the staff began all over again, discussing how there was nothing wrong with it. One cook looked up through the window and stated, "What is your problem?" What? Are you kidding me right now? The blonde female in the kitchen then stated to me that it had already been cook three times, what more did I want? I simply stated all I wanted was a properly cooked piece of lasagna. She mumbled something about they were having problems with not being enough water under the pan and that was the best they could do. So, do I take this as an admission that there was an issue with my food? Look, I don't expect to hear "My Pleasure" every time I'm addressed at a food establishment, but I do expect staff to be properly trained, knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. This clearly is not the case at this franchise. It's unfortunate that the franchise owner doesn't pay more attention to management staff that is hired, how staff is trained and responds, and the cleanliness and maintenance of his cash cow. With the continued escalation of prices over the last few years for what we consider fast food, Friday night was our last visit to this establishment, and we encourage you to seriously consider whether the attitude and food quality is worth the price, both monetarily and emotionally. read more

Very "ghetto" and dirty, the guy who took our order was also texting at the same time, me and my family got our food all seperately and I waited almost 30 min for my double slice of pizza and I had to go back up to the counter and actually ask for it as the whole pizza sat on the counter behind him, fruit flies and flys all over in there and it's absolutely dirty!! The drive thru had 3 cars pulled for over 20 min and they had a hood 6-7 employees working, also one of the men in the front was bagging up food and constantly sneezing!!! Ordered a kid meal and didn't know it was a single slice of pizza for one. Then when delivered we're told ice machine is down. Then go to pass out the food and they forgot one entire meal so I call and they say they can't do anything about no refund for the drinks or food they forgot or didn't tell me wasn't available. I ordered curbside and tried to call for 20 minutes to check in to and the phone continually rang busy. Of course the doors were locked due to covid so my only choice was to go through the drive through. After 15 minutes of waiting in line, and still trying to get through on the phone, I was finally able to get to the drive through to ask for my curbside order to be brought out to me. The employee who brought out my food had no apologies or empathy for my wait and my concern of how the curbside service was poorly handled. I love their salad and breadsticks, and I usually don't like salad much. But theirs is so delicious. I also like the big soda machine where you can choose from many drink flavors. Get the $5 lunch, and it's totally worth it. The one drawback is that they sometimes won't give you breadsticks with the lunch special even though they're supposed to. The interior is nice, by fast-food standards. Definitely recommended. read more

Great fast food style Italian, almost everything is made as you order it, minus pizzas and breadsticks that i see. If you have a little more time, stop inside, order and have a seat while they make and bring your food to you. Enjoy all the free yummy breadsticks youd like. Food is good, nothing great but not bad, the freshness makes up for how simple some items are. They have a good menu with a variety of items and during the week they have things for kids, like free meals, discounts and activities for kids and families to do. Fazoli's is one of my favs and this location was great. The staff was super friendly and the food was great as usual, but the only drawback was the shortage of the breadsticks. I think they were trying to keep up, but it took a bit before we got ours. I had the baked lasagna and would highly recommend it! read more

Great place for faster food with taste. Older review is wrong though, breadsticks are no longer brought out to you. You must go up there and get them now. Some corporate change is what I was told. Bread sticks are great if you like ones with flavor and not dried out ones. I believe they're even better than Olive Gardens. We had a group at closing once, and they brought out some extra food they had in back, along w/ a whole nother tray of breadsticks.
