Alright, everyone knows that as a buyer, you need to find something that fits your taste in shopping & also the kind of money you want to spend on your Purchase. But for some reason, the guy named John seemed to have a problem with that! He went from pressuring me into buying something quick into trying to kicking me out after 5mins of looking. This dude had the audacity to say "why do I keep thinking so much" like , WTF , I'm looking at different bikes & asking questions. I was the only person at this store early in the morning and honestly I didn't even feel welcomed. The place seems like they just want to get you hooked on their bikes & bye bye. So if you want to take your time to see bikes/mopeds , don't come here. Go somewhere were they treat you as a customer, not as cash bag object. Purchased an import scooter from FE Motorsports back in 2016 - John, the owner, appeared to be very helpful during the sale and ownership transition but as soon as the scooter left the lot, there were countless problems and issues. These issues persisted for next few years, and I ended up paying more in repairs and services (and my time of hauling this scooter to Vernon) than the bike originally cost brand new. Just yesterday, I came to the shop and kindly asked him what we were going to do. Here we have a scooter with extremely low mileage (250 miles), a battery or fuse or starter issue that constantly has issues (he claimed that the 7 times it was "user error"), and my expenses and time just trying to get it to run we're over $800. I asked him if I could: A. Trade it in B. Get some reimbursement toward a new scooter And when neither of these options were suitable, I simply asked if I could donate it since I would never wish anyone to have this scooter other than a scooter repair shop. You know what he said? "I don't sell used scooters." Yet, he sells brand new ones that don't work properly. What I thought was clearly great customer service from the date of original purchase clearly turned into any customers' worst nightmare! I give it two stars because I'd like to support any small, local business but this experience was absolutely mind blowing. !!!Negetive 5 stars!!! Coming from Bakersfield, despite the yelling and attitude he gave for taking my son a picture on the atv we still ended up purchasing from there, poorly communication skills!! For one, never mentioned my warranty or registration card,battery charger. Made me make a 2 trip to pick up registration card, what he should've handed when i first purchased! My son only used the bike 3 times,, Battery gave out, atv started blowing out white smoke within 3 months . Made a 3rd trip hoping for coverage. Very bad. They leave you guessing with the lack of communication. They don't tell you what's going on, ever. You have to call each time. John makes you feel like an inconvinience and if anything takes longer than expected, which will happen, he makes you feel like he is doing you a favor for getting something you needed done. They don't care about your time, when you may need your bike or doing an actual good job. I had my bike repaired here. Took over a month. He waits to work on your bike when you are on your way to pick it up! Original quote was changed about 4 times. My bike got stranded after The first repair about 3 miles away from the shop. This was a Sunday and he mainly cared about why we were there when he is closed on Sundays. I told him his business hours online are posted as open Sundays. He didn't want to help us get the bike back to the shop and suggested we push it because he was waiting for a customer! That's what I thought we were. Thank God my brother was there because that would've been impossible for me to push 3 miles. Not sympathetic to our situation at all. It was VERY hard on my brother. The job was still questionable after I got it back. I went somewhere else and they told me this wasn't safe to ride. Waste of time and money. Also, he is not upfront about anything since he doesn't communicate well and tries to get away with anything he can. Buyer beware. read more

My new scooter is fun and classy...everybody is stopping me to compliment it and ask about where I got it! I even drove it to Hemet, 100 miles away, super fun. Until one day, about 5 months ago, the engine died, I changed the oil every 450-500 miles, and had 2200 miles on it at the time it died. The mechanic said it would cost $450 to fix, so I gave him $200, and then another $250 upon delivery. Half way home it starts puttering and I called John up and said what the heck? He told me he would take care of it and fix it for free. 2 weeks later no word from John so I gave him a call, he said the transmission broke and it would cost me $100 more!! I didn't have the money but a couple months later I called and told him my friend could pay the money and he said he would fix it. To this day it is not fixed and he has my $450 and my scooter. AND he says I should be paying him storage fee's for keeping it this long, I wouldn't have to store it if he would FIX IT. read more

The manager is nice and worked with me on a late drop off. Their prices are reasonable and they don't charge you extra if you didn't buy the bike from them like some other places do. He also gave my great advice on where to buy gas, what kind of oil I should be using, etc., to avoid problems in the future. Honestly now that they worked on my bike it's running better than when I first bought it in May this year. Only giving 4 stars though because the mechanic left some screws on my seat out and I have to go back and you have to call them to find out what's going on because they won't call you. Farhan Motors is a great place with good people! I bought a 150 cc scooter there over two years ago and it still runs like a champ and I ride every day!. It now has over 14,000 miles. I get my oil changed there too and they take care of the basic maintenance. John is an excellent guy and Raoul is a top notch mechanic. Getting a scooter there was one of the best things I've done in LA. The bike gets over 100 miles per gallon. I spend about $5.50 per week on gas! Parking is usually free everywhere for scooters and LA has perfect driving weather for scooters. You have to be careful about other drivers because the scooter is quiet. Some parts of town has crazy drivers and you have to be careful especially at intersections. But the bike is a great value, safe and fun! Make sure that you take car of your bike and it will run well. I highly recommend this place! read more

With that out of the way, I've had my scooter for about three weeks and I'm quite happy with my purchase. I bought a 2011 Zohngnang (obviously a Chinese brand) and everything works fine. It gets 100mpg, it came with a free helmet, a free storage-unit thingy, and the customer service was superb. Yes, the scooter was cheap, yes it was made in China, yeah it probably won't last forever, but hey, it was a quarter the price of any other scooter on the market and it goes hella' fast. i bought a bike from this shop and not only did it not work less than 10 minutes after leaving the shop. the owner had the nerve to not replace his clearly broken unit he sold me. after taking it in for "repairs" 7 different times when i asked what he did to the bike i was told "we just raised the lines out it was clogged up" 5-10 miles later im staranded again and the owner is blaming ME. long story short i ended up having to sue to get my bike fixed. the case is still pending and i was threatened when i served him. read more

My scooter recently got hit by a car and I thought it was going to be done for good. The guys at Farhan Enterprises made sure that wasn't the case. I brought it in around noon on a Tuesday, called the next day and was told I could pick it up that evening at 5. Super fast and surprisingly cheap work, and the finished product was great. New brakes and a whole new front piece in just a day, and very friendly, helpful guys working there. I was amazed. I will definitely be going back whenever my scoot needs work. read more

I bought my scooter online from some guy in Texas and frankly did not know anything about getting it serviced or fixed. I was in an accident and I needed it fixed ASAP, as it was my transportation to work. I accidentally found Farhan Enterprises online and called them the same day. The manager John was extremely helpful and kind. They worked on my bike for an about an hour, gave me a crash coarse on what I needed to know and sent me home on my Moped purring like a kitten. The Roma Hornet 150cc wannabe is a heap of garbage obviously thrown together by unethical money hungry crooks who care less about your safety then the burgler at your back window. It is a dangerous poorly built rattling death trap whose makers are unreachable and whose retailers take no responsibility for the makers shoddy work. Low rate parts are built cheaply and unfortunately will give in approximately ninety days past the warranty. Buyer beware the smiley face salesperson who encourages you to purchase while staring intently at your wallet will sell your child this crappy machine with no conscience, taking no responsibility for the inevitable outcome which is your loss of much time, much money, and anything else you can't afford to lose.
