    Mushroom Tart
    Betsy M.

I have been wanting to try Feast for many years and FINALLY made it there for Valentine's Day and it was everything I had hoped it would be! They had a pre fixe menu along with the February menu items, you could also order pre fixe items ala carte. We started with the specialty bread service and the Lobster/Corn/Scallion Bread Pudding and were in absolute carb heaven. I had the Mushroom Tart and my husband did the Beef Tenderloin. All of the food was bursting with flavor and we were both proud members of the clean plate club. I had a couple of bites of the spinach soufflé that came with my husband's entree and could have made an entire meal out of a slab of that! We DID save room for dessert and split the chocolate caramel nut tart which was scrumptious. The service was excellent and we enjoyed watching the owner/chef go around checking on his guests. If you want a nice meal in an ambiance that makes you feel as if you are at someone's home and enjoying creations from their kitchen, Feast is where it's at! We will definitely be back and enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end.

Everything we ordered was so good we ended up finishing every last bite. But the true standout was the sourdough -- perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, and honestly unforgettable. We'd come back for the bread alone. Excellent service. Quiet and clean.

I believe this is a long lasting Tucson restaurant. I liked the place because I felt like I was a guest in someone's kitchen. Staff seemed to care. My short ribs with root vegetables were nicely seasoned. I did not like the cream spinach as much and would have preferred more spinach and less cream. Staff were friendly and offered some good food guidance. The prices were very reasonable for a meat dish (it would have been 3x more in Manhattan. I left feeling full and thought what an enjoyable meal.

    The gnocchi with crispy duck

We are so lucky in Tucson to have such a marvelous restaurant and wine shop. With an ever-changing menu and an extensive (and greatly affordable) wine list, Feast is a go-to restaurant for anyone that enjoys a good meal. The menu is changed monthly, and there are still dinner specials to choose from. We chose the lobster, scallion, and corn bread pudding with Parmesan cream to start. The dish is more like a large muffin filled with the accompaniments, and it sits in a generous pool of the incredible cream. Licking the plate would be frowned upon, but it is seriously that good! The mains - I had the seared scallops atop creamy butternut squash and cabbage cooked in a bit of white truffle oil. The dish also featured small slices of prosciutto, and the bite was perfectly curated with balance and texture. My husband opted for the gnocchi with crispy duck in an XO sauce. This dish also offered a magnificent bite of flavor and texture. For dessert, we opted for a caramel nut dark chocolate tart, which is a bar-type dessert. It had a light drizzle of spiced crème anglaise, which only provided a hint of flavor. I was disappointed in most of the other dessert offerings, as they all featured beer or aniseed or caraway seeds - not my jam, but others may like those flavor profiles. We paired the dinner with a 1/2 bottle of Hartford Court Cabernet Sauvignon - a perfect choice for everything we ate. The service is beyond wonderful, and the chef actually came out to talk to diners - a happen to love that! This was a splendid meal that left us extremely happy!!!

Came for the first time and enjoyed a beautiful dinner on a Friday with some friends. For appetizers the house salad with maple dressing fell flat. I was expecting more. The crab cakes were delicious! They had corn and tarragon with a delicious cream lemon sauce. I got the special which was the salmon stuffed with crab stuffing. The waitress described it poorly and didn't really emphasize that it wasn't just crab. It had an interesting flavor. The stuffing was probably 35% crab and this bread stuffing that was soaked lemon and herbs. The crab was delicious but the stuffing was just okay. A little overpowering. The salmon was cooked PERFECTLY! Their wine selection is extensive and we enjoyed a bottle of Grgich Hills Chardonnay. Delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit. The food (Creamy Potato & Carrot Soup & Turkey Club Salad) were fresh and tasty; the house Malbec was very good; and the service was exceptional.

    Barramundi!

Best eating experience I've had, start to finish flawless, in Arizona. I'm happy it exists and yet also angry that I live in the Phoenix metro area because we need places like this and don't have many. We have nothing good or inventive in Mesa where I'm located. But enough about my existential crisis- on to the food and experience at Feast! We started with the fried squash blossoms, which are stuffed with house made ricotta and drizzled with garlic honey and scattered toasted hazelnuts. They were melt in your mouth decadence; delicate, tender little flavor bombs. For our mains my friend and I had the barramundi and pork schnitzel sandwich. The barramundi was pan seared til the skin was perfectly crispy and the tender white fish was so mild and delicate. It was served on a bed of lovely sticky rice, surrounded by tequila roasted cucumber and watermelon with cashew garlic coconut chili crisp. Such a great juxtaposition of flavors, the sweet watermelon playing up against the spicy chili. The pork schnitzel was incredible according to my friend although I didn't taste it. Many other tables had the schnitzels so I believe it was a hit. Dessert is so rarely the showstopper it should be, yet at Feast it is an event not to be missed. So what if you're full? GET THE DESSERT. The house made pistachio ice cream is a perfect bite of creamy, rich, vibrant pistachio. Then there is a ribbon of lavender white chocolate which as soon as it hits your tongue, melts into that familiar white chocolate flavor but then ends on a pleasant explosion of lavender. Sublime, and genius. The angel food cake grilled with cherry compote and adorned with goat cheese creme fraiche was comforting and delicious. I had a glass of their house made lavender lemonade and let me just say it was worth every calorie. The lavender was assertive and not fake tasting like wine syrups can be. Our server was delightful, attentive and sweet. The chef came out to check on each and every table, chatted with everyone, and made us all feel like we were eating a meal at a good friend's house. Love everything about this place except that it's so far from my miserable, Mesa-dwelling ass.

    Rabbit confit and almond cakes

This very pretty restaurant was on my list of places to try for a long time. We went there for lunch last week and honestly it was just ok. The staff is very friendly. You are greeted by a smiling hostess at the door, walked to a table and handed their ever changing menu. The chef is super creative and comes up with a seasonal menu. I got 2 appetizers. The almond cakes and rabbit confit. I didn't quite understand the almond cakes. Two cakes were drenched in what seemed to be oil. Roasted vegetables and marinated goat cheese that accompanied them were delicious. The rabbit confit was yummy. If you take a forkful of risotto, salami, olives and a piece of rabbit..yum! The soup of the day was sweet corn and leeks, that unfortunately was lacking a personality

10/10, will definitely be returning! Doug made it feel like home he's the owner and was checking in on every table during dinner! We came for Valentine's Day and it was packed. Parking was easy right in front of the restaurant. The wine & cocktail and drink menu was IMPRESSIVE! Food was spectacular, everything we had was delishhhh! We did the Valentine's Day menu and it was the perfect amount of food. The beef carpaccio was fun and went so well with the bread. Scallop was delicious with some sweet sauce and chicken skin. The blue cheese cake was DELICIOUS, it was definitely strong on the blue cheese so if you don't like that then don't get it. Samantha was a great server, despite her long day on V day was very kind and attentive, thank you!! Very cool that in the front there's a whole bottle shop or curated sections of wine and spirits. We got a nice bottle of bourbon there that could not be found anywhere else! Overall great experience- I'd love to go back and try other food/beverages because it sounds like their menu changes monthly!!

    Wine tasting Saturday

I haven't eaten here yet, but if it's anything like the wine tasting it's going to be great. Came in for a Women Making Wine tasting. It was let by a great wine rep from Maverick. The chef/owner chimed in and was a wealth of knowledge. The service was excellent with the staff checking in. The place is well decorated and has a nice color scheme to it. Definitely eat and drink here.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally had a chance! All my friends voted for this restaurant to try their Sonoran restaurant week menu. I really liked their menu selection and thought they were generously portioned. I picked sablefish for an entree and it was delicious!!!! Everything I ate was good and I loved the mix of cuisine they offered. Service was good as well. Chef came to ask if everything tasted good, which is always a nice touch. Our reservation was one hour before their closing time but we did not feel rushed at all. Parking lot was almost full when I got there! They do have a big lot but I almost couldn't find a parking spot but I got lucky and found the last one available.

Our dinner with friends last evening was delicious! great food be presentation and excellent service. compliments to Chef Doug Levy who took the time to mingle with the guests during the dinner service. we enjoyed the mussels appetizer followed with duck breast, scallops and a perfectly prepared fish dish, branzino!

Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! Like, don't come here expecting an intimate, quiet dinner kind of loud. This is more "laughing over music, people-watching, and soaking up the energy" kind of place. Now let's talk food, because that's where they pleasantly surprised me. They actually have a legit vegan option that doesn't feel like an afterthought (which I always appreciate). I went with the vegan curry and wow--it was delicious. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, with a mushroom-forward sauce and sweet potatoes that just worked so well together. We also had the olive oil bread, which was simple but so good, plus almonds and Brussels sprouts that were absolutely worth ordering. Everything felt shareable and fun, which fits the whole vibe of the place. This isn't where I'd go for a quiet date night or a five-star fine dining experience--but that's not what it's trying to be. It's where you go to hang out, eat good food, sip drinks, and just have a really fun time. Would I come back? Definitely.

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. They offer an array of international-style dishes that is most uncommon to hotel eateries and although not a huge menu by any means the offerings we tried during our stay were well prepared, professionally displayed, very, very well-done facsimiles of more authentic possibilities elsewhere - and most importantly, tasty. From their American Classic Shrimp Cocktail to Middle Eastern style Falafel Appetizer, to their Seafood Tacos or the Bronx Pastrami and the Border Burger to the Calypso Salmon shows the kitchen's skill and impetus of putting out an amazingly different yet appetizing gastronomic ensemble. Kudos to the management, staff and cooks behind the scenes for offering such an array of goodies, heretofore almost unseen or experienced at most hotels.

Lots of shade trees areas for families to play, there were cornhole games going on, there was another sitting area with a waterfall, I could see when I was leaving out there is a dedicated play area for children. This is a great place for a big party it's a massive ranch and they have utilized all of it in great ways.

Went to the Barnyard with friends last evening for dinner. The hostess and bar staff were…read morefriendly. However, our server was the worst we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. There was nothing wrong with the food and our drinks were delicious. Interestingly, the specialty drinks had no prices on the menu and my drink was $15 on our bill which was ok with me because it was very good. Our server was so rude throughout our evening. We asked him about the drinks and we were left to feel like it was an inconvenience. His demeanor and attitude was just so rude. Any questions we had about the menu he seemed so angry. He hardly said anything to us all evening. I tried to make some light hearted comments and he told me he didn't appreciate it as he was so busy. All of the other servers seemed fine. Between the four of us for a cocktail and food we easily spent $50 each. My husband and I typically tip 20-25% because we know serving is hard work. Needless to say he didn't quite get 10%. Love the atmosphere but felt like we weee on egg shells with this guy. I would go back but would not have him as our server.

The place was packed but were seated promptly in their patio. It was a beautiful night out so we preferred it. Our server checked in on us which was nice. We place an order for a chicken sandwich with salad and she offered to split it for us to share it. Overall great service, great value, beautiful aesthetic restaurant and great vibe! I recommend this spot when in Tucson!

I really liked the dish I tried at Agustin Kitchen. It was absolutely delicious and all the flavors compliment one another perfectly. The batter stayed crispy even with the slaw on top and the orange-chili jam balanced it nicely. I love that the entire dinner menu is 20% off for happy hour 4pm-6pm. The regular price seemed high to me for the serving size but I could definitely tell that they put effort and creativity into the dish. The menu changes seasonally and the food tasted very fresh and interesting. I hope to see them add some plant-based items to their breakfast and lunch menus the next time the menu shifts with the season. Vegan, vegetarian and GF items are clearly marked. They have nice outdoor seating with sprinklers. I will mention that the food took about 40 minutes to come out even when they didn't seem busy, it was not a problem for me but just noting that it might not be a good spot to come to in a rush. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
