I stopped by Febe Coffee with a friend and was intrigued by their diverse menu selection of drinks along with their secret menu. I opted for their Matcha Latte with Biscoff Cream on their secret menu. While there were plenty of people waiting, I was able to get my order quickly within 10 minutes. The matcha was smooth and earthy, while the Biscoff cream added a rich, sweet, and slightly spiced flavor that paired well with the matcha. The drink itself was on the more indulgent side like a dessert, but I still appreciated the quality of the matcha itself. Lots of unique drinks to try at Febe Coffee!
Great staff, friendly and quick service. I ordered an iced Spanish latte with sweet foam. It was delicious not the best Spanish latte I have had, but it was tasty. Def recommend a stop to try them out. They have tons of other drinks and diff cold foam flavors. The location has inside and outside seating with great vibes.
Great selection of drinks, I feel like they have a very interesting variety that can appeal to all kinds of tastes and palates. Super friendly and attentive customer service by the whole staff. Would like to try their double matcha, mango matcha and strawberry matcha next time. I did enjoy the ube and banana marchas. Not elite or perfect but very good. As for the coffee lotus eispanner with almond milk. Thought it was very balanced, not too sweet. It's a solid option. Oh and I think their logo / cup art is really freaking cool. I'm a fan. Cheers
A cute place in Irvine with a variety of drinks to choose from. Plenty of parking in the front with tables both inside and outside the cafe. I'm a hojicha fan so I ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha. I liked the nuttiness of the drink and the sesame was a wonderful addition to the flavor profile for about the average price point of similar specialty drinks ($7). Something to note though: even though it was evening time, all of the tables were full so I had to take my drink to-go. Aiming to return and try more of their menu (and hopefully stay longer too)!
Love this place and their variety drinks menu, another plus is the awesome pricing just one flat price. $7 bucks for the double matcha is great. The drinks are on the sweeter side so 30% is good for me. Pretty good tasting double matcha and fast service too.
Cute coffee shop that seems like a good place to get some work done. It's not that big overall but there was some seating both inside and outside. Overall thought this place was ok but I have friends that like the matcha here a lot so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing Panda latte: 3/5 it was ok but I don't think i'd order it again My boyfriend also got an ube matcha latte which he thought was just ok
I have seen this place on social media and was hoping to try it one day. Was in the area and this place popped up. So I gotta stop by to try it. Ordered the lotus latte & corn matcha. None of the drinks really stand out. The lotus was biscoff and there was nothing special about it. I had better. Same with the corn matcha. The corn flavor wasn't really there...matcha itself was not bad. Cute place Prob will not drive outta my way for it...
The coffee place is located in a tiny neighborhood plaza with a small parking lot. There are only 4 or 5 tables inside and 5 tables outside, 2 with umbrellas. They're best know for their matcha drinks but I went a different direction, ordering an iced Madagascar vanilla latte and choosing a raspberry pistachio croissant from their pastry case. The interior had no available seating so I sat at an unshaded outdoor table for a few minutes. I appreciated the judicious amount of ice in the latte (I dislike it when places over-ice the drink). It was just okay with no flavor of vanilla detected despite their note that their vanilla syrup is housemade. The pastry was very not-so-great. It wasn't warmed (as requested) and was quite dry. I couldn't taste any pistachio, even with some crumbles on top, and the raspberry was minimal. It was oddly sliced horizontally in half. Based on other reviews, come for the matcha drinks otherwise it's a pass.
Definitely one of my favorite matcha spots in Irvine! The matcha flavor is strong, and they have so many different flavor options to choose from. The price is also pretty good, especially with matcha inflation these days. I just wish the space was bigger and had more seating. I would definitely come here way more often if it were a better study spot!

The matcha is phenomenal here!! My husbands favorite is the banana matcha as seen in all the pictures. I am on a rotation from corn, black seasame and ube matcha. The space inside is outdated and a bit dirty...the matcha is the prize here! They have outdoor area and seating inside. Worth it for the matcha! There seems to be a line everytime we go! I wouldn't get coffee here...just matcha!
We stopped by Febe on our roadtrip down from LA SD because we were craving a matcha. Thankfully Febe is right off the 5 and easy to park in. The cafe itself is pretty small but there is plenty of outdoor seating. It seemed like this was the most popular spot in the shopping center. We ordered the blueberry matcha + regular matcha with oat milk and they were delicious! The blueberry syrup is so fresh and definitely the best i've ever had. They clearly use quality matcha as well. Would definitely recommend this spot.
Considered good matcha to me! Nothing super special compared to the LA ktown ones haha. Service was friendly and fast, clean interior. - ube matcha: my friend got it 0% sweet. i would prefer maybe half sweet if they offer that customization. - corn matcha: personally, i didn't really taste the corn flavor. delicious matcha though. - strawberry matcha: delish! would get again. - double matcha: yum, standard, would order again.

Tried Febe for the first time a few days ago, I had a great experience! Staff is kind, the space is super small so seating is very limited, but there's also a couple tables outside too. I'd say it's better to just take your drinks to go. I got the banana cream matcha, and it was so yummy! I was a little off-put by the price because my drink was close to $10 which is pretty steep especially since the drink is pretty small. However, I do think they use quality ingredients so definitely nice for a little treat. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for my drink when it wasn't too busy, but that's not too bad. The matcha was strong and pretty sweet with the cream, but not overly sweet it was a perfect level. I definitely want to try their strawberry matcha next!! read more

drinks are yummy!! the girl working the register was really kind and helped me choose between the double matcha and mango matcha. inside was very small, only about 3-4 tables inside with a few additional tables outside. black sesame hojicha (4/5) - this was really yummy! their drinks seem to run a bit sweet so i'd definitely ask for half sweet next time. very creamy! mango matcha (4/5) - i got this one less sweet but i'd go even lower next time. i liked that the mango wasn't super ripe, it added a good texture to the drink. i'll definitely be back to try more drinks!! read more

This spot just recently opened up, replacing Baum Coffee. The location of the establishment has always been awkward to me; it's nestled in the corner of the shopping center with the front of the store basically facing outward towards the road rather than inward where cars are parked. In any case, we wanted to see what this new coffee/matcha place has to offer! Here's what we ordered and my ratings: croissant sandwich (9/10) - Simple but great flavors. The tomato and lettuce made it feel very fresh. egg scramble sandwich (8/10) - the egg was very soft and great flavors on this as well. Maybe could've used some veggies or meat to add some complexity, but still a tasty sandwich. Sea Salt Nutty, 50% Sweet, Oatmilk (9/10) - This was a risky choice because the foam top is peanut, which can easily overpower other flavors. When I tried the foam on its own, it was veryyyyy much peanut. But mixed in with the coffee, the flavors complimented each other very well! Banana Pudding Matcha, 50% Sweet, Oatmilk (10/10) - Delicious! Banana Foam Top was addicting and didn't taste artificial. Matcha flavor was fully present even with the banana foam mixed in. Overall everything tasted great! But I would highly recommend ordering your drinks at 50% sweetness. I'm excited to try their other coffee and matcha options! read more
My friend and I came on the grand opening day and it wasn't too busy! The staff were super friendly and our drinks came out relatively quickly (within 10 minutes). I ordered the sesame hojicha and my friend got the banana matcha, both were $7 for 12oz drinks. I got the sesame hojicha less sweet but the drink was still on the sweeter side (mainly due to the sesame cream because the cream too is definitely super sweet). The hojicha flavor was pretty subtle since the drink was so sweet but I want to come back to try the matcha lattes! The green color was really promising so I will for sure be back soon. Came back a second time! Staff is always so friendly and welcoming! I tried a coffee this time and the lotus einspanner was so good! It is on the sweeter side but a great balance. They did update the size of their drinks to a 16oz cup for the same price! Love that they listened to customer feedback! Came to do homework again and there was space inside and out and the wifi worked great. Overall great place! And will be back again! read more
This place is sooo good! I am very picky with matcha places and I find that most are grainy and not flavorful, but this was great! I am not sure of the matcha grade that they use, but it tastes very high quality! I got the banana pudding one, and the banana flavor comes through really well and the drink is nice and creamy with no grainy-ness. Service was super fast and the interior was very nice and clean! There is limited seating though, so id recommend just stopping in and not working/studying here. read more

They have so many fun cream tops! It's still their soft opening but everything was pretty solid and we got our drinks at a decent time. We tried a black sesame hojicha, strawberry matcha, and double matcha. They were all so potent and the right amount of sweet. They have a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating but could see it getting really full. Staff was super friendly and nice. Glad to have a cute corner cafe nearby! Excited to see a new matcha place in Irvine! I tried the double matcha with 2% milk and half sweet. The price wasn't too bad at $7. For the drink itself, I loved the cream, it was decently sweet and they give you a lot. For the drink itself, unfortunately there wasn't much flavor and it just tasted kind of like water. Service was great, the person that took my order was super nice! There are maybe 3 tables inside but plenty of seating outside. Parking was a bit hard to find. read more
Febe Coffee - Cute vibes, creative drinks, but a little underwhelming for the price. Stopped by Febe Coffee after hearing some buzz and loving the minimalist aesthetic from their Instagram. The shop is definitely cute - clean design, cozy seating, and a menu that leans into trendy flavors. I ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha, which sounded like a dream combo. It had a nice nutty depth, but I was hoping for more pronounced tea notes. The hojicha flavor kind of faded into the background, which was a bit disappointing. Also tried the Banana Matcha - a fun and unique twist. The banana didn't overpower the matcha (thankfully!), and the texture was smooth. That said, at $7 a cup, I was expecting something a bit more memorable. The drink was good... but not $7 good. Service was friendly, and I love that they're experimenting with bold flavors. I might be back to try something else, but next time I'll go in with more tempered expectations. Cute drinks, but a little more substance and flavor depth would go a long way - especially at that price point. read more
I've heard lots of things from UC Irvine students about FEBE and wanted to give it a try! The worker helped me navigate through the menu and recommended their more popular items, one of them being a strawberry matcha. The matcha was definitely more sweet than bitter, and the strawberry foam was sooooo light and creamy. I would say this drink is definitely for those who prefer to drink matcha that doesn't taste super umami and grassy. Unfortunately, there isn't much seating to study so it's definitely more a coffee chat/ grab and go vibe. read more
I live very close by so I've spotted this place on m drive home a few times. I also recently saw it go viral on social media so I knew I had to try it. I went for the matcha and it did not disappoint! The matcha was very high quality, very earthy. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet or over powered by artificial syrups. I am very picky about matchas but this is a place I would return to over and over again! read more
Matcha Einspanner: Yummy! The cream top is like a perfect sweet--it paired so well with the matcha. The matcha is good quality and has a natural sweetness to it. I really, really liked it! Note that the size is smaller (I believe 12 oz, like Stagger's size). Pandan Latte: Refreshing and not too sweet--it was 95° today, so a yummy drink! Rating: (9/10) New spot in Irvine! Their grand opening is this upcoming weekend, so it was cool to stumble upon it on Yelp. I really liked these drinks, and I think it might be my new go-to spot for matcha in Irvine. It looks like they used Aiya matcha, and it was prepared super well. There's a couple of indoor and outdoor seating options, Wi-Fi, and it's family-owned! Their menu is pretty big, and their specialty menu actually looks so good--I would come back to try those (ube, banana cream, pandan, etc.). read more

Some of the best drinks I've ever had!! We got the mango matcha and the salted peanut coffee. The mango was so fresh and delicious- didn't taste like concentrate or sour. Matcha was strong while not being overly grassy or even too light. The peanut cream was a perfect salty and sweet blend that lifted the coffee from just good to great. Also a unique cream top, I've never seen either of these flavor combos in a coffee shop before. The store is pretty small but the baristas work quickly. I'd definitely come again! read more

No Could I drink this as a treat on a hot day? When I crave a good drink and a light meal, this is one of my go-to spots! I love their matcha latte -- especially with ube or blueberry -- and their bakery selection is quite decent. You can get both savory and sweet items to share, which makes it perfect for a casual bite. The only downside is that seating is limited, so sometimes we end up getting our order to go. read more
I've been wanting to try this spot since they opened a while back, but never got the chance until now. They're located in the corner of a small plaza, with very limited parking spots. The shop itself has some indoor seatings and outdoor. It has clean and modern decor inside, and appears to be more of a grab-and-go spot due to the few seating inside. I love that they have a variety of different drinks ranging from coffees, matchas, blended drinks, etc. I opted to get their corn matcha because it sounded super interesting! Ordering was done at the front with one of their staff members. I can see the wait being long with just one person making the drinks and one person taking the orders. I waited about 5-10 minutes for mine, so it wasn't too bad. The drink itself was good. The matcha they use is a bit bitter for me, but the corn cream and oat milk definitely helped! read more

I tried the lotus einspanner and loved it as a sweet treat! They were generous with the biscoff cookie topping. The coffee was solid, the syrup used is brown sugar. 5/5. Subbed with oat milk. read more
This place is so cute! I got the double matcha 50% sweet, which was perfect in my opinion! The cream on top was absolutely amazing! 10/10!! We also ordered the egg coffee which was strong and sweet! I want to come back because they have so many options for einspanners! I also love that they give you your drink with the lid off, for the aesthetic! read more

Wife and I first came to Febe Coffee in Irvine because she heard about it from a friend or maybe TikTok and shout out to her because this spot is unreal. We are big matcha people and someone told her this was the place so we had to try it. First visit I grabbed the mango matcha with whole milk and 100 percent sweetness and she got the strawberry matcha with 50 percent sweetness. From the first sip we both looked at each other like wow. The mango flavoring and the cream on top are so good not overly sweet and you can tell it is real matcha. The little mango bits at the bottom are awesome too. Pro tip mix the whole drink first because the syrup settles a bit and mixing makes it perfect. We have now gone four times in two weeks and have pretty much tried every matcha flavor. Her favorite is still the strawberry. Mine is absolutely the mango. Every drink we have tried has beautiful colors and that deep green matcha with the fruit layers is seriously pretty. The shop itself is a chill little joint with a few tables outside perfect to hang or study. The staff deserves a huge shout out super sweet and welcoming every single time. We have probably hit 40 to 50 matcha spots around Orange County and Febe Coffee is easily top three of all time. Absolute must try. read more

Came here specifically to try the black sesame hojicha and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! The notes of nuttiness of the hojicha and black sesame cream top were unique enough to differentiate between the flavors and mixed together, it was heavenly. It wasn't overly sweet at their default sugar level. My friend got the island ube with the matcha cream top and it was good too. Definitely a sweeter drink. Service was pretty fast. There was a small rush that came in right after me, so it does get busy. It's a small spot with some small tables, so not a great spot to sit and get work done unless you are okay with sitting at the tables outside. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area! read more

Was in the area and heard about this shop! I got the Spanish latte with banana pudding cream top. It was soooo goood! My boyfriend started stealing my drink because it was so delicious. The place was very busy but the drinks still came out very quickly. It looked like a cute spot to stay and work too. The staff were all friendly. Will definitely be stopping by again! read more

I stumbled upon this quaint little cafe while visiting Irvine, and must say it was a great find! The drinks here are delicious. I ordered a strawberry hojicha which had a strawberry cream on top...and I couldn't stop sipping. My friends ordered their matcha and coffee with cream tops and each one had great flavor. The staff was so helpful with my questions and very friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area!! read more
Such good matcha! This place has a lot of different matcha flavor options, as well as coffee drinks. I went for the banana matcha latte, less sweet. Sweetness level was perfect, and you could still taste the banana flavor. They even sprinkle cookies on top of your drink before handing it to you. Matcha had a nice rich texture and flavor, was not too bitter, and the banana did not taste too artificial, like it can at other places. Only wish the sipper hole was larger so I could get more of the cookie pieces. Will definitely be back to try their other drinks! Sidenote- parking gets quite full in this plaza, but this place is worth it. read more
The banana pudding matcha was ok. The topping made the drink unsippable from the mouth of the cup since the bits kept blocking the hole. The topping was merely for decoration purposes. Strawberry matcha was just ok as well. They use strawberry syrup over freshly blended strawberries. Not bad, but not incredible enough for us to keep coming back. Seating in the cafe was uncomfortable with weird tables, so not a place I'd recommend to come study or work. read more
Loved my first visit to Febe coffee! I went on Labor Day today which happened to be there buy one get one free deal for the first 100 customers which I didn't even know about. The line was long but they did a great job of keeping it moving. The employee at the register was so kind and helped me decide on the Nutty latte which was truly delicious! As a peanut butter lover this one was amazing! I also tried the banana cream matcha which was so tasty! My bf got the yuzu matcha and he said it was the best one he's ever had and ended up going back up for a second one. Overall this place is amazing, great drinks, easy to find and lots of parking so I'll be back! The only one downside is they don't have a lot of tables so sitting space is limited but I also went at a really busy time. Overall worth a trip! read more

If you're here for matcha, you're probably fine but hojicha or coffee? You could pass. The hojicha was very flat and felt grainy. I couldn't taste or any of the usual notes in hojicha, it just felt like a sweet drink. The Madagascar Iced latte was another drink that was just okay. Nothing special here. The staff was very sweet and there's limited seating inside but a good amount outside to come with friends. I'd give this place another try, but wouldn't actively look to go here. read more
I wanted to like Febe after seeing some hype for it on social media but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. My party and I ordered the royal milk tea, black sesame hojicha and strawberry matcha drinks as well as an egg sandwich. While nothing was terrible, none of the items were very good either, with the best being the black sesame hojicha and the worst being the royal milk tea. Ambiance felt basically the same as Baum coffee which was the previous business at this location. Service was nice enough. Parking is typically busy on weekends but you can usually find a spot if you're willing to park further away from the cafe. read more
