Febe does their flavors INCREDIBLY well, but i feel like they skimp a bit on the actual AMOUNT of drink you're getting compared to other places. For roughly $7 a drink i did feel like a majority of my cup was ice, but that aside, I really enjoyed all the drinks we tried. The red bean matcha was so tasty, matcha quality is good as well, but if you're a fan of sweeter drinks (like at airoma, 7leaves etc) then id maybe ask for it to be sweetened a bit more. The black sesame cream on the hojicha was very good, but the hojicha base was a bit watery in my opinion. The yuzu matcha tonic was SO good, my favorite drink hands down, so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. Service was ok, not super slow but not shockingly fast either, I could definitely imagine you'd be waiting quite a while though during their busier hours. Otherwise the seating is nice and the AC was PUMPING which i appreciate because we came on a hot day haha I can't wait to come back and try some of their other drinks!
I love banana cream top coffees and this cream top was really good! The coffee itself was just okay, a little bitter for my taste. The shop was cute and they had a portion of things for sale! Overall a cute cafe and I would come back and try a matcha!
I've been here a couple of times for their matcha drinks, I like that they do try to get creative with different matcha flavors. My last visit I decided to also get a breakfast sandwich, since it's their only food offering I figured you do one thing and you do it well. For $11 plus $2 for bacon it was definitely not worth it. It tasted like it was microwaved and I felt really ripped off. I wish I had just grabbed a breakfast bagel or croissant at the donut shop next door. Service was also Meh, lots of choices in the area so I'm not in a rush to return.
Tried this place for the first time, and it was a pretty solid experience. I got the Double Matcha with whole milk at a lower sweetness level, and it was perfect for my taste. It actually reminded me a lot of the matcha at Rok and Stagger--I wonder if they use a similar recipe/proportions. The matcha flavor falls somewhere between a light, grassy profile and a roasted one (maybe a tad bit more grassy than roasty) and the matcha cream top complements it really well. It made for a refreshing drink on a hot day. They also have a nice selection of other drinks, pastries, and merchandise for sale. The interior is clean and inviting. Parking was free and easy to find, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid matcha spot.
Great selection of matcha and coffee with a variety of different cream tops and speciality drinks. Ice and sweetness can be adjusted upon request and staff are super awesome. Interior is very cute with really impressive AC , lots of seating, and a restroom Great spot!
This is one of my all time favorite cafes in OC!! I've been here at least 15 times at this point and I've had a good experience every time. The matcha and coffee both have strong flavors but are still so delicious. I love the nutty because I haven't seen any other cafes with peanut butter foam like this. The workers are always so nice and helpful too. There is also seats, outlets, and WiFi for studying.
I've been on a matcha binge lately trying matcha lattes from a lot of local shops. Febe was a little further for me but it ended up being worth the drive! I got the banana matcha and the banana foam had a light flavor instead of being overwhelmingly banana. The nilla wafers on top were a nice touch that made it more like a banana pudding. The matcha itself was well-blended and smooth. It didn't have a strong and bitter flavor like at some places. It was sweet and creamy. The foam on top also had a thick texture that was very pleasant. The customer service from the girl working was really good as well. She was a one woman army taking my order while making drinks! Also the security guy T was really friendly and made the atmosphere really welcoming! The cafe area was clean with lots of available seats and pretty quiet. Overall, I can easily say Febe is the #1 local spot for matcha!

I was so excited to try the matcha banana pudding that I completely forgot to take a picture before drinking the whole thing. My drink came out super fast too! It was so good and definitely lived up to the hype. The drinks are just as good as the Irvine location, but I think this shop feels a little more spacious with more places to sit. I also noticed they have free WiFi, so it seems like a nice spot to hang out or get some work done. The only small issue was that the bathroom door was a little tricky to lock, but they have directions posted on the door so it wasn't a big deal. Parking is plentiful too!!
First time here -- ordered the lotus einspanner,an iced espresso drink with oat milk and a sweet cream top, with crumbled biscoff cookie. Half sweet. Fully delicious. It's iced coffee as dessert. An einspanner is a traditional hot Viennese coffee topped with whipped cream. This is the Orange County/Vietnamese/Japanese version. You can also get iced matcha drinks with cream tops as well. There's also a small variety of pastries: chocolate scone; rosemary ham and cheese croissant, co ammon rolls. Vibe is industrial kawai with a dash of etsy grandma. Concrete floors. Mid pop but at least it's not too loud. Popular with Asian American teen girls and their awkward boyfriends, college boys with panda backpacks and the occasional auntie. Service was friendly! I'll be back the next time I'm in the OC.
FEBE is the best coffee shop to come into this neighborhood!!! They never miss with the drinks, they are perfect. They also make sure to ask about the sweetness level (no sweet, half, regular or extra sweet) . They have a cute small shopping area with squishies and health jellys. They also have a decent amount of seating some with outlets. It's good enough for the size of the coffee shop. I would study here for sure. 10/10 spot. 10/10 coffee. 10/10 vibes.
Febe Coffee was one of the spots my cousin and I had on our list while café hopping around SoCal, and I'm really glad we decided to check it out. The space is super clean and spacious, which made it really comfortable to hang out in. They also have a small shop inside, which was a nice touch and fun to browse while waiting for our drinks. The worker was incredibly nice and helpful, answering all our questions and making the experience feel really welcoming. We ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha Latte, Hojicha Einspanner, and Banana Pudding Matcha, and all of them were really good. The cream tops were especially thick and creamy, adding a rich, smooth texture to each drink. The Black Sesame Hojicha Latte had a nice nutty depth that paired really well with the roasted hojicha flavor. The Hojicha Einspanner was smooth and comforting, with that strong roasted tea flavor balanced by the creamy top. The Banana Pudding Matcha really surprised me. I usually don't like banana-flavored things, but as a banana flavor hater, this is honestly one of the best ones I've tried. It was creamy and well balanced, with the banana not being too overpowering and blending nicely with the matcha. Definitely a solid spot with good drinks, a clean and spacious space, and friendly service. Worth stopping by if you're café hopping in the area.
I ordered the pandan matcha ($7) and it's refreshing. Not as sweet at Airoma's but it has a perfect balance between pandan and matcha flavor. It's creamy and you can tell the matcha is good quality. The service was quick and efficient. There was no line when I arrived and my drink was out within minutes! There are a few tables inside and some people are studying, but it is a bit noisy. I would come back again if I am around the area!
I've been to their Irvine location so was excited to hear they opened one in Santa Ana/near South Coast! Love how much more spacious and aesthetic this location is ~ definitely more work-friendly with ample seating & outlets inside. If you plan on working/studying here, I recommend coming early or at a random time since their tables are limited. We ordered the ube matcha & double matcha, which both tasted pretty watered down despite the vibrant green. The cream tops are more flavorful but a little too sweet for my liking. My experience was similar to their Irvine location, so their drinks are just a miss for me. Otherwise, friendly staff, cute space, and would come back simply to get some work done if I was in the area. read more
First time visiting this new coffee shop. The ambiance is inviting and so cute. Tried the Febe's Signature and did not disappoint! The coffee is strong, and the foam not overly sweet and it doesn't overpower the palette. I can see this spot becoming a staple coffee fix for me. And service was incredible they weren't afraid to make adjustments if needed. read more
I have been to the Febe Coffee in Irvine so I was delighted to discover this location in Santa Ana when I was nearby! The space is a bit bigger than the Irvine location and there were some people working there which was nice. The service was very quick and the strawberry matcha (my favorite from here) hit the spot as usual! read more
LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FOAM. dare I say one of my new fave coffee/matcha spots in OC. matcha was good, great taste. Went around evening time. basically no wait time. Their speciality has to be in the foam because it tastes real (non-artificial), foamy and creamy and compliments the drink so well. Have been to very few places that can match this. Not super sweet surprisingly. Would 100% come back and try their other drinks. Interior is cute, a bit simplistic but it is a brand new shop. read more

Febe Coffee is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots! My coworkers and I make the trip here every week, and it's become one of our favorite traditions. If you're a matcha fan, do yourself a favor and order the Banana Pudding Matcha. It's absolutely incredible. I recommend getting it at 30% sweetness if you prefer your drinks balanced rather than overly sweet--it brings out the flavors perfectly. The drinks are consistently delicious, reasonably priced, and made with care. Their croissants are just as impressive, with several different varieties to choose from, and every one I've tried has been fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor. Between the quality of the drinks, the great pastries, the affordable prices, and the friendly atmosphere, it's easy to see why we keep coming back week after week. If you're looking for a new coffee spot, Febe Coffee is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend! read more

This is my new favorite coffee shop in ALL of OC. And I am a self proclaimed coffee snob. Their coffee is wonderful and their drinks are not too sweet at all. They use fresh fruit and their creams are light which make you feel like you are treating yourself without the guilt. Their croissants and pastries are also amazing too. The vibe is cute and the ambiance is really chill and welcoming. I will be coming here A LOT. read more

Lotus einspanner is amazing! I'd recommend 50% sweetness on most of the drinks since the foam and syrup are both sweet together! Nice study spot with good lighting and ambiance. Great place to hang out and grab a drink! read more

Cute and modern decor with excellent service. I appreciated how we beat the crowd and got our order in and done. The Saturday morning rush came in a blink of an eye. I got the sea salt nutty with one less pump of sweetener. I think it needed the full amount. It was subtle but I don't like my drink too bitter. The peanut flavor was subtle and smooth. We also got the mango matcha which was on the creamier side but the mango sweetness shines through. There are so many matcha drinks to try here, so we will be back again soon! read more

Great matcha!! It is potent and not bitter with extra sweetness from toppings. I got the banana matcha and it was a 10/10. Needed an Airoma alternative closer to me and this definitely fits that need. However, expect a line. I went 15 mins after opening and there were already like 10 people in line. read more
this place is great! they have a wide variety of unique drinks and pastries. they also have a ton of alternative milk options which is always nice. red bean matcha latte (w soy milk): this is really good and not too sweet which i like salty nutty coffee: naturally a bit too sweet for me, but 30% would probably be perfect. good flavor though. i can't wait to try more items on their menu! parking is okay, i feel it can be bad on busy times, not a ton of seating but it's cute. read more
one of my few 10/10 drinks. i get the hojicha latte at 50% sweet and had the peanut cream top to it. one of the best drinks of my life. the peanut cream top tastes like the adam's peanut butter fudge ripple frosting from cheesecake factory. the sea salt nutty is very good for coffee drinkers. i get that one at 50% sweet and would give it a 9/10 read more

Was in the area and went to try this cafe at their newer location. Always love finding a cafe with a good vibe and I'm always on the go for my matcha hunt. I got to try their yuzu matcha tonic - the sweetness is only from yuzu and they don't additional sweetener. I love it - the matcha is pretty strong and love that yuzu taste as a base in the drink. They sell some cute accessories/stationery and some snacks inside the cafe. Plenty of seating as well. read more

The cinnamon roll was a little dry and hard even when heated up. I think it may have been old. Was still really yummy- I just wished it had been more fresh! Matcha is not too strong so if you like strong matcha I'd recommend a different place. Seating is limited but the staff were very nice! This is very much a one and done spot! 6/10 read more

FEBE Coffee is a must-visit if you're into matcha like I am. They have plenty of different matcha options to explore, and even though I haven't tapped into their coffee menu yet, I'm definitely vibing with what they're doing on the matcha side. What can I say -- I'm a matcha guy. The quality is there, the flavor is smooth, and you can tell they actually care about how it's crafted. One thing that absolutely stands out: they don't charge extra for oat milk. That alone deserves recognition. In a time where most spots add a surcharge, this feels like a win for the customer. Definitely don't sleep on this one. Staff is friendly and they are waiting to serve you ! read more

I got the Febe special - banana cream foam with toffee nuts. I always get light ice. To my surprise, they asked me if I wanted more milk or cream. I said, you can do that ? Confused because every place has always made it clear that the level will fall shorter. She responds, "Yes, we always fill to the top here." Oh my - delicious menu and setting themselves apart. I enjoy trying new coffee spots, so when I saw this place pop-up, in the neighborhood, I was interested. They are currently in their soft opening, and the hours are from 8am to 8pm. I went around noon on a Saturday and there were three customers, and two other groups came in shortly after. The two guys who were getting their drinks before I even ordered, were told to let the baristas know if they needed any modifications or adjustments. When I received my drinks, I was not told the same. I ordered three drinks, and one was made incorrectly, and masked to hide the mistake. It still tasted fine, but I heard one of the baristas tell the other one, she didn't know it was supposed to be an island übe coffee. She thought it was just an island übe matcha. The other two drinks I ordered were: banana pudding matcha, and lotus einspanner. Also, while I was popping lids onto my drinks, a couple ordering were asking the baristas if matcha contains caffeine, and if so, if the caffeine content is as much as coffee. They replied that they didn't know, so that was a bit concerning, to hear. I also didn't see any beverage holders, only sleeves. I carried all three drinks to my car, and placed them in another coffee shop's carrier and bag. All and all this place is good, but there is room for improvement. read more

Delicious biscoff einspanner called the lotus einspanner. Perfect, friendly and welcoming customer service while I asked all my questions. Decaf beans are an option and you can adjust the sweetness. Almond or oat milk options, too. Clean location, easy parking. Watch the tired people coming out of the cycle place next door while you sip on your drink and chuckle. read more

I've been to the OG location in Irvine and, despite not really liking the pandan latte I'd tried from there, I wanted to give Febe Coffee another shot by trying their other drinks. First off, this new location is a lot nicer than the other one, imo - much bigger parking lot and wayyy more spacious inside. And the service was amazing, the girl who took my order was really sweet. As for the drinks... unfortunately, I remain unimpressed. But I think this might just be personal preference - for the coffee, I'm simply not a fan of whatever espresso they use. I don't really know how to describe the flavor... it just tastes very sharp, not smooth at all. And the hojicha was okay - very rich and sweet, especially with the black sesame cream top. Maybe their matcha is better, idk - just not my cup of tea though. read more
