The interior of this cafe is super cute. The customer service was great, the staff were super friendly and they bring the drinks directly to your table. I tried the banana matcha, which was good and had a strong matcha flavor. The blueberry matcha was bitter compared to the banana. I also tried the Biscoff latte, which was a little too strong for my taste. I wish it had a stronger Biscoff taste instead. One thing to note is that the drinks come with quite a bit of ice, so next time I would ask for less ice. Overall, I'd give the drinks 3 1/2 stars if I could, but the staff were incredibly kind.

Cassie Cafe is a cute, newer Vietnamese spot with indoor seating. Just a heads up - parking is mainly paid street parking, so it can be a bit tricky. I ordered the double matcha and Viet coffee. Personally, the matcha wasn't my favorite. The flavor profile didn't quite hit for me and there were little chunks, possibly due to the powder they use. However, I really loved the coffee! It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong, and the pebbled ice was a great touch.

Ordered three different drinks, and all were a miss. I came here because I love coffee, especially Vietnamese coffee and teas. We tried the Ube coffee, the Viet coffee, and the Thai tea. The Thai tea was super muted and lacked flavor, which was very disappointing. The ube coffee was decent, but not the best. The Viet coffee was flavorful, but not so strong and only translated to being about one or two ounces without the foam, ice, and milk. The barista and cashier was friendly and the space was cute and well air conditioned.

Newly opened cafe located in Downtown Santa Ana, this hidden gem is one you MUST try if you're into Matcha. The place has a wide assortment of fresh and affordable pastries from sweet to savory! The service is quick, along with a cozy feel within the store. Looking forward to returning and trying many of their other options of coffee and matcha!

It's always great to get another coffee shop in DTSA! Stopped by in hopes of trying their garlic bread, but sadly they were sold out. Regardless, it was still a nice trip. Cassie is located off 4th & Broadway, with plenty of street parking within a block or two. The shop is super open and modern, with some indoor seating up front. The staff were incredibly friendly, and quick to serve (they also do a discount if you pay in cash). I tried the s'mores cookie and the biscoff cheesecake and both were fantastic. The cookie was super soft and flavorful, and the cheesecake had all the flavor of a biscoff cookie while still being a good cheesecake. On the drink front, things weren't as great unfortunately. I got a strawberry matcha and a coffee Einspanner, and both had room for improvement. They offer soy and oat milk as alternatives and I got oat milk for both drinks. They use the shelf stable Costco oat milk and it is NOT the business; it totally overpowers the drinks and makes them taste super watery. For how much the drinks were, they should absolutely upgrade their milk alternates to something that won't ruin their drinks (and also get almond milk as an option!). The matcha itself was pretty good, and the strawberry used wasn't bad. The coffee in the Einspanner was burnt unfortunately, but the cream top was nice. This place has been open for only a few weeks now, and definitely has a ton of potential. The staff is wonderful and the baked goods are great, but the drinks need some work. Cassie is on the same block as two other coffee shops, so the competition is stiff, I really hope they can overcome the growing pains because I think they've got potential!

Such a cute café with cozy, storybook vibes! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made for a great experience. We tried the garlic bread pastry, and they kindly warmed it up for us. It was decent--enjoyable as a sweet and savory snack. Unfortunately, the strawberry matcha wasn't for me. The milk overpowered the drink, making it difficult to taste the matcha itself. The strawberry flavor also didn't complement the matcha very well, so the drink felt a bit unbalanced overall. Overall cute cafe and friendly staff!

We stopped by because we were in the area and this place had good ratings; now I can definitely see why. The girls working were incredibly friendly and attentive, they seemed genuinely sweet. I tried the triple matcha, and girlllll, it was phenomenal. Not only did it get me lit, but it was so delicious. I also tried one of their cookies because baked goods are my weakness and it was a dollar. I cant argue with that ‍ The inside of the shop is very inviting and warm, I like the lighting and all the wood furniture. This is a spot I will definitely be coming back to.

When I first saw the drink I was like oh great another matcha that's purely milk. Boy was I wrong! It was very strong and tasty. All I needed was a few sips to feel the caffeine. Can't say I've ever had a matcha make me feel that way before. I recomend the triple matcha. The jelly matcha chunks i think it was were fun to eat. Their pastries are also good as well. The Ambience was peaceful and nice. The girls working were very kind and pleasant. I will definitely be back here again

5/5 experience Ambiance: as you come in you are greeted by a cozy/homey ambiance Coffee: Biscoff latte 5/5. I was expecting something very sweet but the strong coffee foam balances everything out well! Cassie Foam tea: I did a black tea base with a sakira foam. I thought the combination is atypical and I did not know what to expect but the bitterness of the black tea with the sweetness of the foam made it balanced and refreshing!! Great drink for summer. Pastries: unique variety and very delicate. Give it a try! Staff was very nice and checked in with the taste which they would happily adjust if needed (which I did not need) Overall, highly recommend when you are around 4th street!

Stopped by Cassie Café and accidentally found my new fav drinks: Matcha einspanner and coffee einspanner. The Japanese-quality Matcha Espresso was smooth, rich, and gave me that calm-but-productive energy. The Coffee Espresso was bold and creamy. Great drinks, cozy vibes, and friendly service -- definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Beautiful coffee shop.. also much variety... Vietnamese Coffee was strong and delicious. If you are a boba lover go ahead and get the mini boba... this made me so happy to get back to work and so on. Shio pan is also a must try.

Omg Cassie's cafe is so good!! Got a few drinks and pastries right before work and they were great. They do not take long to make your drinks. I had hojicha :) oh and they have 1$ cookie, they were so yummy.

I was very pleasantly surprised with their Vietnamese coffee, as it tasted exactly like the ones brewed in Saigon! Their matcha and jasmine were also very strong and yummy. Cassie Cafe is definitely a must-try. read more

WuzupWuzup! First off...the owner and team were so very nice and always asked how we're the drinks, if they needed to be remade, but everything was great. They took their time on making them, which includes fancy artwork for taking photos of the masterpiece I ordered several items which included banana pudding, banana bread muffin, and few drinks. All we're delicious especially that banana pudding. You want to experience some good tasty sweet treats, i suggest trying that one out for sure. Business just opened not that long ago, so they're still growing and I can see this business being here for awhile. I wish them the best read more

Super lovely new matcha and coffee shop in downtown Santa Ana. Had the banana matcha and it was well balanced and absolutely delicious. You could actually taste the matcha. We came in on a Sunday afternoon. It has such a nice cozy lounge to chill and hang out, and the employees were very friendly. Our drinks were so yummy, especially the Biscoff latte. We tried the turkey and cheese croissant which interestingly was not warmed up but was still delicious. definitely recommend and will be returning! read more

This place is awesome! Just what downtown Santa Ana needed, something new and delicious. The service is fast and the workers are super sweet and attentive. I love the seating set up, it's cozy and perfect place to get my work done at. I was also allowed to bring in my bike and put in a corner which is a big plus for me. This is my third time here within two weeks. Today I got the Cassie's foam latte and added the creggbrûlée, I definitely recommend if you like drinks on sweeter side, the Vietnamese coffee is the way to go if you want to feel super caffeinated. I've also tried the banana pudding which is delicious and the oreo cookie. read more

Best new cafe in DTSA! We tried the Garlic Cheese Bread and it was so garlic-y and delicious! I also had their Jasmine milk tea. You can tell items are made in house and with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and the space had a cute, welcoming vibe. Can't wait to try more of their coffees and boba drinks! read more

I've stopped by this new coffee shop twice, and I must say, they have not disappointed me. Between my family and me, we've tried five different drinks, and every single one was amazing. The coffee was rich and bold, while the matcha drinks were smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The Sakura foam was truly the finishing touch--it reminded me of my time in Japan and added a unique flavor to the drinks. Their pastries were just as impressive. Freshly baked every day, they were soft, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. Pairing a smooth coffee or matcha with a fresh pastry is a great way to brighten your morning and start the day right. I will definitely be coming back for more drinks and tasty pastries. Highly recommended! read more

Visted on a Sunday morning and no wait at all. I had the biscoff latte and my boyfriend had the vietnamese coffee. I've come by twice now during my work breaks and I love it. It's a cozy warm spot great for a quick stop. Even though they just opened service was quick and staff a friendly. The first time I came I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and a salt bread that was so delicious. The second time I grabbed the strawberry jasmine tea, turkey sandwich & matcha cookie. Coffee was perfectly strong and delicious. Wide variety of flavors, but it doesn't take over the essence of coffee. I tried the banana foam latte and I'm very happy with it. Many places get too creative and lose the whole flavor of coffee. Not here! Give it a try if you're in the area. read more

I love solo dates trying new matcha spots and this one will definitely have me coming back. Everyone was so nice and attentive, greeted when entering and just overall a pleasant experience. The cafe feels cozy not too busy since they are new. The strawberry did not overpower the matcha taste and was not too sweet which I liked. Cookie was a little too sweet for me personally BUT was a nice pairing to the drink. :) read more

This place is so cute and just what downtown Santa Ana needed... a boutique coffee shop that caters to real coffee drinkers. The staff was so helpful in choosing a drink and the pastries are fresh and made in house, every day. Coming back tomorrow LOL read more

Absolutely loved the Viet coffee here! Rich, bold, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and tasted authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese coffees I've had in Orange County. I am very bummed. I LOVE Vietnamese coffee and when I saw this on TikTok, I had to stop by. I love strong coffee, the stronger the better so I requested mine with no cold foam and told her more coffee. When my order was ready, it wasn't filled up all the way and I asked her why it wasn't filled up all the way and she said because it's too strong and they have to leave a gap for the cold foam. I said I love strong coffee and I don't mind if you add more and they just would not add more. She was very kind and respectful in the way she answered so I couldn't get that upset. The customer service is great, but honestly, I won't be back. The Vietnamese coffee is really good and very strong though so I'll give them credit where it's due. read more

Just writing this makes me want another one! However, there's one thing you do not want to miss. Their newest addition is Salt Bread. These are sold 4 to a package and and are like the yummiest croissant you've ever tasted. I was sitting waiting for my order to be completed when the owner cam out with a bit of one on a fork. I was hooked. They're already baked, but the instructions are to put them in an air fryer (we used a small convection toaster oven) for 2-4 minutes at 350. I also like them split and toasted. They're fantastic! You'll want to put The Sandwich Society on your restaurant list! (And you'll want Salt Bread in your pantry too!).

It's iced coffee as dessert. An einspanner is a traditional hot Viennese coffee topped with whipped cream. This is the Orange County/Vietnamese/Japanese version. You can also get iced matcha drinks with cream tops as well. There's also a small variety of pastries: chocolate scone; rosemary ham and cheese croissant, co ammon rolls. Vibe is industrial kawai with a dash of etsy grandma. Concrete floors. Mid pop but at least it's not too loud. Popular with Asian American teen girls and their awkward boyfriends, college boys with panda backpacks and the occasional auntie. Service was friendly! I'll be back the next time I'm in the OC.

The red bean matcha was so tasty, matcha quality is good as well, but if you're a fan of sweeter drinks (like at airoma, 7leaves etc) then id maybe ask for it to be sweetened a bit more. The black sesame cream on the hojicha was very good, but the hojicha base was a bit watery in my opinion. The yuzu matcha tonic was SO good, my favorite drink hands down, so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. Service was ok, not super slow but not shockingly fast either, I could definitely imagine you'd be waiting quite a while though during their busier hours. Otherwise the seating is nice and the AC was PUMPING which i appreciate because we came on a hot day haha I can't wait to come back and try some of their other drinks!
