This particular Fedex facility is great. I go there almost every day. However, I usually have shipping labels that were sent to me by title companies. Today, I need to create an account and make a shipment. The system just keeps taking me in circles. So I called the customer service line. It is of absolutely no use unless you are tracking a shipment. It hangs up on you if you don't have a tracking number. This is terrible customer service. I will go to Fedex and see if they can give me a number where I can call and get to a person. I am so disappointed. I don't want to use UPS, but I may have to due to lack of customer support. FedEx as a whole has been circling the drain for years, but this Hub and Mesquite seem to be particularly bad. I sent FedEx online the message below: If I could give you 0 stars, I would. The shipment I needed today was sent priority overnight as it is a refrigerated, time-sensitive $30,000+ medication. Since tomorrow is Christmas, and you won't be delivering, if it does not arrive to be refrigerated by close of business tonight--which I do not have great faith in occurring--I will have to reschedule a multi-hour very crucial neurological treatment that has to be scheduled months in advance. Not receiving this treatment presents life-threatening issues. The agent who opened the ticket was snippy and condescending. He actually had the audacity to blame the shipper for not binding the 3 packages under the master tracking number together when I mentioned that I'd only received 1 of 3 boxes on the shipment. I did not appreciate that at all. I worked handling and arranging the shipping and logistics of highly sensitive and confidential documents for government and medical investigations of a Fortune 250 company for 20 years. Often times this included transport of thousands of boxes cross country. So you'll no doubt understand why such a cavalier attitude, incomplete response, and then closing my ticket when there hasn't even been resolution as FedEx has not yet even fulfilled its obligation and delivered my medication is unfathomable and completely mind-boggling to me. I have also notified the shipper of these egregiously unacceptable and disturbing events in hopes that eventually it may help prevent such occurrences in the future...because sadly this hasn't been an isolated incident for my family in dealing with FedEx. read more

I had a package that seemed to vanish into thin air--tracking had stopped entirely at the local terminal, and I was beginning to lose hope. I submitted a research request and was quickly contacted by a local representative named Shanbrial at the Garland, Texas facility. From the start, she was attentive, kind, and genuinely reassuring. I explained the situation and described the contents--two cosmetic bags I had accidentally left behind in a hotel room while on a road trip. Amazingly, she called me the very next day: she had found my missing package--or what remained of it. Despite the box being poorly packaged and missing a label, she managed to identify it based solely on my description. Her initiative and persistence turned what could've been a total loss into a resolved issue. I'm beyond thankful. Shanbrial went above and beyond, and her efforts meant the world to me. Awful. I wish ups or even the USPS had my packages but nope just this sorry excuse for a delivery service. Got notified on a recent shipment that a door tag was left. Strange because I was sitting on my porch when I was notified. The picture is clearly in the driver's lap no attempt to actual deliver the package. Apparently, the drivers cannot read Shipping labels. Clearly states apartment 321, but he took it to apartment 359. Nobody was at home, so they took the package back to Garland. No Saturday delivery and they expect me to wait until Monday (I paid for 2-day express delivery) or drive from Fate Texas battling the construction traffic on I 30. To make things worse, they don't list a local number, it's the 800 number and they claim they can't contact the site in Garland. read more

Fire the delivery driver Anthony didn't even try to deliver a package that required a signature, i have been waiting for the package to be delivered for two weeks. Was expecting a delivery one morning, but when driver arrived, scan showed error (wrong zip code??). Address was fine (error was an error) but driver went on with my package. Called 1-800# three time over course of 5 hours, which was frustrating because got through the call tree every time. Went to the Herrmann Dr location and Babette helped me and said she would get back. By 8pm I had given up, but she called 3 times to update me on her efforts to contact driver, who returned to location with my package rather than making 2nd effort to deliver, and finding someone willing to drive it out to me at nearly 9pm. She made final call to be sure I had received my package as the 2nd driver did not log it. OVER AND ABOVE effort!! If I had my own company, I'd hire her. Would make this review 5 starts, but had to take 1 off for the bumbled effort of 1st driver. read more

I rarely give five stars to any location, unless I see outstanding customer service. Not just me receiving outstanding customer care but others around me as well. And in this location I did. This young lady was working by herself but we could tell how quickly and professionally he handled all of us. She promised to get us out of there quickly and she did just that as was polite while she did it. I got my packages send out and all in less the 10 minuets of my time. Sometimes, you have to let a person know how you appreciate them valuing your time. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stop at this location again. read more

Early next morning, I called and request delivery 12-1PM in order to stay home and waited for it, believing that it would be on time. 12:16PM I got an updated of shipper noted that nobody at home to receive the package. My experience was pretty good. The staff were wonderful and quick when I needed to make a return.

Their online tracking Service just strait up lies to you and Customer support is outsourced to another country so they just read from a script and promise it will arrive when it won't. Don't expect to have the option of picking your package either, even when it's been in your city for 4 days. They hold it at a warehouse that you're not allowed to go to. FedEx will say it's out for delivery but it never gets delivered. I've totally given up. Basically, I spent $150 for Fed Ex to steel a $900 package from me. Don't use this shady business. read more

They left tickets at my house saying I needed to be present to get my package. Obviously I have a job and am not home during the day. However they did not leave an address as to where I could pick it up. I finally got customer service and they gave me this address, however I was told they were not allowed to give me the phone number to the facility! What?!?! I had three packages shipped from Chicago, IL to the Dallas-Fort Worth area on July 11, 2022. They arrived in Garland at 9:47p on July 12, 2022. These same packages were scheduled for delivery to my door on Thursday July 14, 2022 by 8:00p - Keep in mind these are three large packages that cost roughly $200 to have shipped. It is now Saturday July 16, 2022 and it is after 5p which means the office is closed and my packages have yet to be delivered. Of course I've tracked the packages daily, I have done the virtual chat and I have tried calling ... Nothing! This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a FedEx facility. I had a bad experience while trying to ship internationally... my first visit customer service was not very cooperative with us, then I check my fedex app. It notifies me that there is a signature after 4days the pack should have already been shipped. I don't even receive a call from them. Turns out they forgot to give me an invoice that was holding my package from being shipped!? I go a second time & I sign the invoice, and I'm thinking everything will be ok. Great customer service. I wasn't rushed and explained everything and all my shipping options to help me figure out what the best one was. She signed me up with a FedEx account and was really patient even though I was freaking out because I needed to be 100% sure that my package would arrive on the day and time I needed it to. After all said and done, I walked out with peace of mind that my package would arrive on time. I'll definitely be coming back here any time I need to send a package from now on and it's less than 2 miles from where I live. I just moved to Dallas from San Diego, CA and it's nice to not be treated like an outsider when I told her that I'm new in town! I placed an order for parts and paid extra for next day guaranteed. It is now 6 days later and when I called them, I was told that they never even made an attempt to deliver the package. They said their driver looked up the address and wrote "delivery exception" and returned the items to the shipper. Very impressed! We were expecting a package that was sent to be delivered by 4:30 but we needed it by noon or 1:00 to prepare to a 3:00 meeting. I called the Garland number and spoke to Patty Crowe. After explaining the situation, she offered to check with the driver to see if the package could be delivered earlier, (it was already on the truck). She said someone would call me in 2 hours or less to provide an update. Less than 30 minutes later, Robbie called to provide an update and low and behold, the package was delivered alittle before noon! Both Patty Crowe and Robbie went above and beyond the call of duty! Pretty lame! I walked in with papers to ship and I brought the item in with no packaging I wanted a price quote on how much it would cost to ship overnight I had the address but she told me she couldn't tell me until it was packaged. So even though I knew it was bullcrap I got an envelope and she told me it had to be sealed. While I was filling out the address label she disappeared and I could hear her talking to a co worker in the back about personal stuff. Now I'm not afraid to speak up for myself but I'm a fan of timing people to see how long they fuck off for and obviously I was already half way done when she walked away so it's not going to take me another 10 min but that's about how long I stood there listening to her talk about her personal life. Then she grabs the envelope and label and gives me so ridiculous price of $58 dollars I said no thanks and then when I tried to leave she told me I had to pay for the envelope!
