Inside the smoke house on property. We got a tour and story behind the scenes
    Dave B.

Had an opportunity to visit this BBQ spot and was quite the treat. The service was excellent with the talkative staff sharing stories and even opening the smoke house for a peek. The price was reasonable and the portions were generous (plus leftovers!). Now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- I need to schedule a return visit to fill my bingo card. This team has a great mission for the community that I encourage you to read about.

I came here for a Yelp Elite event but wanted to leave a little public praise for Darrin & the rest of the Feed The Well family. First and foremost, please know that the service is top notch. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. You do not feel like just another customer, you feel like family. It's such a cute little place inside and out, with farmhouse style decor and a barn look on the outside of the building with a front porch to sit on to enjoy your food if you so choose. Now, on to the barbecue. All the meat is smoked on the property in their smokehouse. I lived in Dallas TX for 10 years and this is consistent with the quality of barbecue you get in Texas, if not better. I've eaten barbecue almost everywhere - Texas, Memphis, the Carolinas, KC Style...This combines the best of it all. The brisket is succulent and fatty in all the best ways with a super flavorful bark. It absolutely melts in your mouth and falls apart with the simple touch of a fork. No sauce needed here, this beef is flavorful all on its own. The pulled pork is so tasty and tender, with a sweet and tangy smoky sauce. The ribs fall off the bone and taste absolutely amazing. I hadn't had ribs in ages but these did not disappoint. They have a delicious dry spice rub on them. The sausage has a great flavor profile too, a little bit spicy but not hot. I love a good smoked turkey especially when it's not dry. This is absolutely flavorful and juicy. The mac & cheese and fried okra were my favorite sides. The mac was super creamy and cheesy and tasted like somebody's grandma made it. Not boxed, not over cooked, and not bland or soupy. The okra was near perfection, super hot and crispy. I also tried the bacon beans and loved the flavor of those too. Make sure to grab a piece of Oreo cheesecake for dessert. If you're in need or feeling generous, there's a giving tree in the front to provide a meal to someone who needs it. All proceeds from the restaurant go back into the community. Darrin & his wife are so kindhearted, and the love they have for their community shows without it feeling forced. Can't wait to go back!

This was a great experience the story that was shared about how the well became was amazing. Very inspirational story like that aren't heard every day. The owners were very nice and very hospitable. It was a pleasure being there and to top it off all the food was great the baked beans or the bacon beans were very good. The coleslaw was good. The meat was good. I'm a big rib girl so I was getting into those ribs but overall this is the place that you wanna go They are very godly so it's a good place to be spirits are real in there.

Tonya the Co-Owner of Feed the Well Restaurant, has a 501-C Nonprofit that was a vision from God for the community, for people from different walks of life to know they are loved, they have an identity with a purpose in life and to come to a safe place and leave better than they came. It is truly unique and quite a gem to the community and the community of faith. Women come to experience a faith experience in hearing from the Lord through music, scripture reading, art, reading a book, affirmations, and journaling the wisdom and understanding they receive to living a wholesome life daily. This place is place with no judgement nor shame. Just as Jesus met the Woman at the Well, as this vision came from. You may come broken, weary or downhearted, but you will leave refreshed and restored knowing you have a community that supports and loves you the way God intended. One thing that impressed me the most is the seating was creatively designed. You could sit in different types of chairs in a row or you could sit at a table. The table had pens and pencils for journaling your thoughts or what you received. You could write or draw what you received. There are refreshments such as healthy snacks and water during this event. They have many other events during the week at different times. There is a website you can check for the calendar and for updates.

The barbecue here is incredible. This is the best barbecue I've had in Georgia. The brisket and the pulled chicken were my favorite. I also tried the sausage and burnt ends and they were also delicious. My kids tried the Mac and cheese and burger and really loved it. This is a great family friendly restaurant.

My chicken, and egg biscuit. I forgot to ask for cheese. Ughhh Not to mention I ate the top biscuit before the pic. ‍

I have eaten their scrumptious chicken, cheese egg biscuit and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was brought to us and introduced to us by our realtor during our hunt for our new home. Was always excited when she'd bring us one. My husband I always split one but if hungry, one can finished by one person. The biscuits are so moist and flaky. The chicken cooked just right. However the other day I went by myself and treated myself to one and ate it by myself. Enjoyed every bite and nothing had changed. They finally are able to serve bbq and that looked amazing as well. It is a very lovely restaurant and really aids the community in so many ways. It is one place you want to support knowing their money helps so many in need. Its ambiance is definitely casual. There is a drive through with plenty of parking to enjoy your meal inside. The owner does alot of the grilling and cooking. His wife can at times be seen roaming and chatting/thanking customers for coming in. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I'm told the bbq Salmon is truly a treat so I'll need to return soon. The restaurant is kept clean and stocked. A definite "must try!"

The best ribs I've ever had.. ever! And let me tell you, I have tried many in the name of research lol The fact that all the proceeds go to The Well it's right here in our community and is changing lives.. amazing!

I was so excited to try this place because the reviews where great, but sadly disappointed. Now this place has always had great breakfast, this review is directed soley to the bbq/lunch. The pulled pork lacked flavor, no smoke flavor and not fresh tasting at all. They also serve is with a sauce already mixed in the meat. I prefer dry pulled pork with smoke flavor that I add sauce to once served. This is more of a elementary school style bbq.... The fries are different and good. The coleslaw is very good and fresh. I will definitely not return for bbq.

We stopped by for a lunch today for my daugters birthday and we're completely blown away. This small little bbq place should be in the same conversations as fox bros and heirloom as best BBQ in Atlanta. My kids who are very particular couldnt stop eating the brisket and burnt ends. Darrin, the owner, even stopped by to wish my daughter a happy birthday and came by with a treat. It was an unforgettable experience and we will be stopping by again next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!!

Our server, Mikayla, was attentive and sweet, and made sure we were good without hovering. I didn't expect such good service because it was super full in there as we went for Easter Brunch . The first time I came, I had a different server and didn't have the best experience, so I was a little unsure about coming back but this visit changed that. I feel a need to mention that the hosts were amazing . There was a older man i did not get his name but i got the girls name, Trinity. She has been there both times i've came and is always welcoming, and helpful, which really sets the tone. The dim lighting and comfortable seating also made the experience even better. Side note: the "Loaded Pancakes" was really good and worth trying. Overall, a much better experience this time around . I'd come back again.

There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.
