During the appointment, the technicians pointed out leaking valve and offered a temporary fix, since the permanat couls would have been $500, which I agreed to. He ied tape and left. However, two days later, I noticed water leaking from the front dispenser area--a feature I have not used for several years. When I called to address this issue, I asked why the water had not been turned off instead of simply taping the valve, since I pointed out that I do not use that feature. Today, when they came again, they told me that the real problem is now the control panel, which wasn't brought to my attention before, since it was working. It appears that the temporary fix may have caused further damage, and I am now facing an unexpected and costly repair. I am disappointed with the handling of this service, as the initial visit seems to have created a new problem rather than resolving the original issue.

Initially he repaired my oven by replacing a part and the error codes were gone. The oven at this point was fully functional and repaired of the errors. However, the new part was causing the oven to make a mild humming sound that it hadn't been making before. He asked about the sound, then took my oven back apart and fixed the sound as well. I can envision so many service providers that I've had work for me before that would have just told me they were done when they fixed the part and left me with the sound because they don't feel like taking it apart again. I appreciate that Henry did the right thing and works with integrity. My oven is working wonderfully.

In March he quickly found the problem in the freezer mechanism and managed to secure the correct part, even though it took a while to find it. In November, after a power outage he successfully helped me reset over the telephone some codes that were affecting the cooling system. Having a company with highly-qualified professionals such as Henry that one can trust gives a welcome sense of security in today's world. He installed a fan in the dryer, but it turned out also to need a new motor. He ordered the motor and microwave handle and came back 3 working days later to finish these tasks. The price was reasonable. Because he had to come out twice for the dryer, he did not charge labor the second time. He was courteous, efficient, and in the end totally effective, saving me hundreds of dollars for a new microwave and dryer. If I had any wish, it would be to clean up the floor after his work, but I think cleaning is not part of most service these days. He did remove old parts and boxes. He also found lots of coins under the dryer and bothered to pick them up for us. I would not hesitate to call him again if I needed his services and I recommend him to every one. You don't always find someone as competent and responsive as Mo Ben.
