Food is great, service was good, ambiance is nice, but seems like it's just a bar n grill. It's itching to be something though, feels unfinished. Such a fun place! From the decor and sayings in the walls, the super friendly and accommodating staff to the awesome food! Being from Utah I don't typically order cocktails but I went for it here and I was very pleased. I got the 975 mule with the peach street bourbon and it was so refreshing and delicious! For appetizers we got some fried okra and the pickle fries. I've never had fried okra but I liked it a lot, they come with a jalapeño Cucumber ranch which was also amazing, and that's saying something since I don't typically like the flavor of jalapeños. The ranch went really well with the pickle fries, I also loved these as well. Normally deep fried pickle spears are not my fave because of the pickle spear size but these spears were cut to look more like fries and they hit the spot! I wasn't super hungry so I opted for the tacos on the appetizer menu, I got a mix of Baja chicken, Carne asada and the pork. The red sauce on the pork taco was pretty spicy, I wish it was on the side so I could add just a dab instead of the heavy drizzle that was on the taco but the pork was still my favorite, the pineapple helped cut the spicy a little and I loved the sweet and spicy combo. The pork was so moist and tender, very flavorful! The Carne asada was pretty good and I didn't care much for the Baja chicken. Compared to the pork the Baja chicken just wasn't my favorite. They have lots of fun burger and sandwich choices and the rest of my party liked their dishes. If I'm ever in grand junction again I will be back! read more

I tried this place for the first time the other day. The food is great and it would have wonderful ambiance with the bar in the elegant old hotel. The thing that messes it up is the beer vending machines. Customers have to go through the extra step to pay for beer then go get it out of a machine. The vending machines remind me of a corporate break room surrounded by coffee, candy, and snack machines. read more

I had a big issue with the restaurant. They rang up my shishinto peppers as $8.50. On the menu it was $6.00 and on happy hour it says all appetizers are $2.00. So I thought it was $4.00. When she brings me the bill I say this is wrong. She said so we are in the process of updating the menu and these are actually $10.50 now and we have you $2.00 off. That was NOT communicated and best business practice is you honor the price on a menu especially when it almost doubled in cost. THEN she did take off $2.00 for our other appetizer. She was very rude and not a good waiter. She also stood behind all of us watching our tip. I've been here before but this was horrible business practice and not okay. I would never pay $10.50 for peppers...seriously. read more

Unfortunately we sat at the bar & had poor service, I think regulars for the bartender were in... which left us constantly trying to wave her down & being ignored a couple times. Drink was also poured very light, we had to order another shot to add in. But the food came out hot & was pretty good. The signs on the wall are a fun touch! read more

We split one then added the best onion rings we've had since???. The sweet potato fries were tasty as well. Didn't indulge in any of their yummy sounding drinks since we were doing a quick trip, but they looked great. When traveling I always use yelp to find new places to try, it did not disappoint. The food here was wonderful. There was 4 of us and we split 2 meals and 2 appetizers and we were stuffed. The chicken mac was delicious. I will say their specialty drinks weren't the best so stick to something simple, but it would not deture me from going again. We actually contemplated going back a 2nd day in a row just for the mac and cheese. Their atmosphere is also great and have some really cute/funny signs inside. read more

That's right, a MF playground. I said it, I won't take it back. And to back this bold statement all I have to say is.... Serve yourself, legit frozen yogurt style. Not sure about something on tap, pour yourself a small taster and see. Try something you never would and find yourself amazing or with sour face, but all you have to do is one teeny bit... Or fall in love with a sumptuous sampling and pour it over and over again. And no one gets to judge you for your choice. Your girlfriend can't stand IPAs and they're your legit side chick, pour one and she'll never know (tip -chase with something less hoppy to cover up the scent). Point being, this is an EXPERIENCE. We stopped in for a late dinner and were very surprised with what we discovered! The place was quiet, almost too quiet. We were greeted instantly with good humor (we came in the patio door by accident). They have a good variety on tap, and the bloody Maria was delicious. Our food came out REALLY fast, and was nothing less than surprisingly delicious. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection! Never been to this place before and we decided to go on a Sunday for happy hour. We arrived just after 5 PM. The website said happy hour goes till 7 PM. The menu said domestic beers were $2.50 and other beers were $4.50. The waiter said he would correct it, however he brought back cash which wasn't the correct amount. We stopped in for a late lunch and a beer on Sunday after a 4 hour tour of the Colorado Monument on a 100+ degree day. They have a delightfully cool shady patio that was refreshing on a hot day. They had a great selection of beers and I selected a chocolate nitro stout. My husband ordered a BYOB (grilled turkey and his choice of veggies and cheese), and I had the BEST! Sweet potato fries ever with my chicken club that was made with a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, bacon, avocado, and goat cheese (?). It was yumminess on a plate. We ordered the chicken and waffle nachos as an appetizer and they were delicious. We decided to give The Feisty Pint a try last night...best decision we've made this month! I can't think of a single complaint. The food was delish and the prices were great, drinks were amazing and the service was off the chart. They had a VERY large party in one corner (25 people or so) and our waitress was taking care of every table except that large party. We never felt like we were missing anything or being ignored. The chicken and waffle nachos are my new favorite thing in life , the Monument burger and Tim's Roadkill are must tries and the donut holes are killer. And don't forget the kitchen staff...for $10 you can buy them all a beer at the end of the night. How cool is that? read more

No knock on my door no nothing they just set it at my door and left. Our poor server had no support or help from the Manager. We were are large party of 9! We called ahead to let staff know we were going to go. Whoever manages this restaurant is a poor manager. Our server not only had our large party, tables outside and tables inside. She did the very best she could under the circumstances. When we arrived only a few tables in the restaurant.... by the time we left...more than two and a half hours later many tables and the servers seemed chaotic. We did receive our drinks and food.... although it took a long time. I would not recommend this restaurant. When we brought our concerns to the Bartender/Manager.... she seemed unconcerned and was a little rude when we approached her. I stopped in here and it was exactly what I expected. The bloody Mary's here are phenomenal. They have multiple flavors and will mix them any way you want them. They have an excellent bar. The food is bar and grill type. I had nachos and the peanut butter burger. And let me tell you, the nachos were great and the burger was excellent. I don't know if I would want one every day, but it was an amazing burger to have. What a great experience. The staff was great also. They are right in downtown and have fairly easy parking. read more
