We've been here twice now and both times have had amazing experiences. We had the same waitress both times, super sweet and friendly gal. The first visit they were pretty busy but our waitress kept checking in on us and was very attentive and apologetic about the wait. I got the eggstatic burger the first visit. The burger was cooked perfectly rare and the egg on the burger perfectly over medium. The second time I got the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and it was flavorful and creamy, all you could hope for in comfort food. We went for dinner on a busy Friday night, even though it was super busy we were seated outside fairly quickly. Our server was very nice and quick with our drink orders. So far the few times I've been here I suggest going for appetizers and drinks. I haven't had much success with the actual entrées. They're all good, but just lacking something. I got the cheese steak this time we went and the fries are yummy. They are thin and crispy with this interesting flavoring on them. That's almost like barbecue, but the cheese steak itself was almost flavorless. It definitely needed some seasoning. Even having sautéed onions and peppers on it, You couldn't really taste them. My husband got the nutty hog burger and it was super good but the amount of peanut butter definitely overpowered all of the other flavors but I would probably still get that again overall it was a good. my favorite thing has definitely been all the appetizers I've tried , the only issue with service we had was at the end of our meal. We paid our bill and then realized after it charged our bank. The bill we paid for was three times the amount it should've been and they use like automated handheld devices for your payment instead of like a normal receipt with your card so after talking to our waitress, she realized she had the wrong tables tab up when we paid on the device she was holding and luckily she was able to void the transaction. It came back on our card and we paid the correct bill, so just be careful paying on those things because it can happen to anybody, but she was super nice and took care of it quickly, and that's all that matters. read more

My girlfriend and I were in GJ for the weekend to go hiking and we spent the afternoon bar hopping and filling up on apps. I'm a big fan of fried pickles, and they way they make them here is really creative. They slice them thin just like French fries and then batter and fry them. Probably my new favorite style for them. I only had Guinness besides the apps, and my girlfriend got Blue Moon I think, but the food we saw going to other tables looked great, and the bartender was really nice. Our server was so kind and personable-- she really listened to us. the manager even made sure that we were being helped. The beer here is amazing! The food is Even Better. Honestly, this is one of the best-grilled chicken salads I have ever had. The mixed greens and the dressing made this salad perfect. The Fiesty Pint was a great stop in Grand Junction on our drive home after checking out places to stop. 4 stars for just the length of time waiting for a burger/fries and a Reuben as we were not there during rush hour. Food was great otherwise and their selection of beers is superb. The Fiesty Pint offers 2 different food challenges for foody adventurous types. I'm a big fan of happy hour, so we made our way over and it was a very enjoyable experience. Living in Chicago, I'm not new to the whole "pour your own beer" thing, but I appreciate the vast selection of local beers here. We went with a bartender poured beer (the pour your own beers are not on Happy Hour), and had a pleasant hour. Our bartender was super friendly. What an excellent dining experience! We found the restaurant on Yelp and decided to go based on the positive reviews. Our party of five went on a Saturday around 6:30 pm and were seated right away. They had outdoor seating as well as well spaced out tables. For starters, we had the cheese curds and pickle fries. The curds were so good. The breading was excellent. Almost as good as the curds in Wisconsin (the cheese was better in WI). The pickled fries were pretty good but kind of greasy. The three of us shared three burgers based on the Yelper recommendations, Monument, Nutty Hawg, and Egg-Static. OMG, so good! I can't really pick a favorite. Our husband did ask for medium rare on the cook but got medium. But it was fine by me. The little one had Kidd Mac n Cheese which she liked. Their fried mushrooms were also pretty good but the sweet potato fries needed a bit more salt to contrast the sweetness. The prices were a bit steep but we did get a bunch of food and two beer. The server was friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Too bad we were only passing through Grand Junction. Highly recommended! read more
