Great place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Lots of fun green drink specials and decor. The corned beef was spectacular! The veggies that came with it were cooked separately so not that flavorful and my cabbage was a little undercooked. Would be better to cook the veggies with the corned beef if possible. 10/10 for the corned beef itself though

Making a stop in Grand Junction, we reviewed Yelp to find a spot to visit. There were several places that we thought about; however, feisty pint seem to fit the bill! We walked in and noticed an image of Guy Fieri on a cut out in the bar area. In addition to him, there were so many cool and interesting signs to see that adorned the walls! We sat down at the bar and started chatting up the bartender. Yes, Guy Fieri was there. Yes, it was slow for the night even though it's a college town. Normally much busier. We ordered adult beverages and an order at Chicharron's to start. After more conversation with the bartender, we decided on the Reuben sandwich, a Guy Fieri taste. And my wife decided on the three sliders. Our food came out relatively quickly and was positively delicious on all counts! I do like that they had a small picture of a Guy Fieri on the menu for the two items that were featured on his show. If we ever happen to come through Grand Junction again, this would be the stop!

We liked this place so much that we already pretty much committed to each other as a family that we'll eat here whenever we find ourselves in Grand Junction. I hadn't been there in over 30 years but I intend to be back for more often in the future. their challenge meal was incredible and though we just ordered it because it looked great, it was very reasonably priced for two people, let alone four. My daughter loved it so much that she ate it four meals in a row until she finished the leftovers. Excellent balance of flavors and textures ands fantastic service as well. Great spot!

The food is good here. We always sit at the bar and get good service. Dining room is a little dark for my tats. Salads are big. Philly Ruben and fries are the go to orders. Always appreciate happy hour menus as well.

This was yummy and a fun little stop on our road trip. We got the Roadkill challenge to share and some wings. 10/10 will return for that. The place seemed pretty clean and a nice little small town atmosphere. The service was ok. There was only one person working which made it hard for her to manage everything. but other than that it was great!

I am addicted to the chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo with blue cheese dressing!!! Homemade sauces, the crispy fry they get in the chicken tenders is 10/10. This time I tried the Mac & cheese with chicken tossed in Buffalo. Didn't realize it was grilled chicken- still good though! Mac & cheese was so creamy and cheesy!! Kind of limited selection for beer/wine but the options they have are good. The ambiance is that of a typical pub, nothing special plenty of space- won't ever have to wait here! The service is incredible Megan is the best bartender and so nice!!!

After starting at a different brew pub in town and leaving after looking at the menu we walked over here. This had been our first choice. We should have just come here to start! It was too hot to eat at one of their sidewalk tables. Inside was hopping and pretty loud. We got a high top along the far wall with a good view of the place. The service was very good. The manager came over a couple of times to check on things - we really appreciated that touch. The happy hour prices of well drinks at $2.75 and $5 well mules was a great deal. Our meals were really outstanding. Their version of a Monte Cristo was different and excellent - the blueberry sauce was a nice touch. The fries were crispy, hot and thin - perfect. The BLADE sandwich had a good amount of thick bacon - it was given a big thumbs up. We like the twists they gave to some standard fare. Highly recommended!

We were simply passing thru and staying at Grand Junction for the evening and were keen to grab a nice bite after a day of driving. It didn't seem like there was much in the area, but the Feisty Pint did catch our eye. We were seated pretty quickly despite it being 730pm on a Sunday. While the service was okay, the food was good and clearly Instagram-worthy, with every plate set in a thoughtful manner. I ordered the B.L.A.T.E., which was generous in size and basically a BLT on steroids with a healthy sized side dish (I got the Caesar salad). My friend ordered half a pound of wings (with the dry rub) for the table and the jambalaya. The Jambalaya didn't lack flavor but was unfortunately a tad on the salty side. Meanwhile, I'm not quite sure you could call the wings "dry rub", but they still tasted great (nice and lightly fried). Glad we stopped by the place!

We had just completed hiking 22 miles over three days. All any of us wanted was cheeseburgers. Feisty Pint delivered!! Not being from the area we didn't know about their local claim to fame on Triple D. Nine of us showed up looking to fill our bellies. The staff worked hard to get us the tastiest burgers. The create your own selection had many wonderful choices. If I am ever back in GJ, I will be visiting Feisty Pint again. Til then, I will recommend them to anyone I know traveling that way! read more

Food was ok. Service was ok. I expected more based on the reviews but they did seem short staffed. Was hoping to find my new favorite local grub but not this time. Responding to Tim: I had the wings and they were dry and overcooked in my opinion. Not sure who was working but seemed like there was only one barter and one person bringing out the food. It was approx 7pm-8ish last night. They were busy so I understand the lack of ability to be social. Hope this helps. read more

This is such a lively bar and the food is great! It's my first spot to invite a friend and enjoy the night, they have a mega mule that drinks 2-4 ppl that's so tasty and fun. I Have yet to try something I don't like and the atmosphere is a perfect to meet with friends and loose track of time. I've had a few encounters with less than nice bartenders but hey it can get really busy and we all have our moments also, the amount of kind servers more than makes up for it. Go once or twice and they will remember you! read more

Decided to drop in for our Anniversary snack-ish-liquid lunch. Did not disappoint, great atmosphere, lots of places to sit. Esther, our waitress, was awesome! Tried something new to us, the Scott Eggs, absolutely worth the tastebud adventure! Service started getting a little slow when they got a huge to-go order, but they were quick to make sure we were good (Nice bald dude, you were awesome too, sorry I didn't catch your name), thank you! My family and I have attempted to eat here 2 times in the last 6 months and no one ever comes to our table after we are sitting there for 15 min so we always have to get up and leave and go somewhere else. I get service is slower these days but at least get a drink order in for us. Service needs to improve and seating 5 of us at a table for 4 is a little squish. read more

WOW WOW WOW!!! What an amazing and lucky find. Traveling thru town from California and stumbled upon this place while checking out the downtown area. Undoubtedly the best restaurant of this 3500 mile journey, and beyond. My son had the pork green chili , which was INCREDIBLE!! Our family shared the waffle nachos which were even better than they sound. Entrees were equally as spectacular and service was A+!!! Stop scrolling they yelp and just go here. This place is packed with locals and laughter. Never heard of their Feisty Bulldog or whatever specialty drink so had to try that and it is different and yummy. I got the Monument Burger and Fries. The burger is delicious and worth the money. The pulled pork has been marinated in wine it taste like and makes this buttery sandwich awesome. The fries are on point and friendly Bartender buzzing around. read more

Today is 1/15/2022, I ordered a Philly Cheese steak, poppers, and chicharrones. Literally the most trash food I ever had. The philly cheese steak had no cheese and the poppers had no cheese... The chicharrones was a verity store rand of pork rinds. Chicharrones and pork rinds are two different things. What they sold me was a bag of dollar general . 99 cent pork rinds with a tub of hot sauce. So not only did I get shit food, they don't even know what food is what food... poppers was literally one slice of Jalapeno wrapped in burnt ( I mean the bacon was fucking burnt, like it was in a fire ) bacon with no cheese. Someone should tell these ass clowns to stick to selling shitty home brewed beer, cause they sure can fuck up a food order... I would give NO stars if they would have let me write a review without at least one. read more

Go here!! So good! Great atmosphere and the food is top notch. We stopped in during our road trip from Salt Lake City to Denver. We got Tim's Roadkill and Chicken Bacon Mac. Both were delicious, however, Tim's Roadkill was my favorite. So far this is the best food we've had on our trip and we're extremely glad we stopped in. fun place to go every once in a while. fun to try different local beers. Only issue I have is their menu. I know they have tried to taylor it to their clientele, but its basically bar food... I would love some good salads and a few veg / vegan options; that would attract a smarter set of eaters more than a Cob Salad. or Sweet Potato fries. This was our first time eating here and we were pleasantly surprised. The environment and the food, both amazing. The menu is plentiful and has something for everyone From appetizer to main course, delicious, we had the shisito peppers as an appetizer and they were amazingly good. Came through on a roadtrip. This is equivalent to an Applebees. The food is not fresh. Kids menu provides an actual fruit cup instead of real fruit. Kid corndogs were super fried and hard. Service was nice and friendly. Beer choices were good. read more

DELICIOUS!!!!! We sat outside on the patio. Perfect breeze plus shade made for an ideal temperature. The food was amazing. Started with chips and queso, very good not super spicy. I got the B.L.A.K.E. A bacon, avocado, lettuce, and fried egg on toasted challah bread. Sooooo good!!!!! read more

I realize servers are in short supply in all restaurants but tonight we were rushed, no interaction with our server except to take orders n bringing our check. This is the second time I've visited this establishment and the music is always too loud and not appropriate for this brewery/restaurant atmosphere-difficult to have a conversation at our table. We had an elderly hard of hearing man with us and asked 3 times to lower the volume; they didn't seem to be concerned. Not recommended unless you can sit outside. Atmosphere and consistent service keeps GJ businesses popular. They need to seriously consider this review. read more

This is an amazing restaurant. After a not so good experience, Tim, the owner reached out to me and apologized. We went back with my sister in law who has very specific food allergies. The Feisty Pint has many different options for gluten free food which was wonderful for her. The food, drinks and atmosphere were amazing. Poor service and warm beer. My family and I came here for their wide variety of Colorado beers and it took 25 minutes for us all to get a beer. The bartenders took unreasonably long to wait on us. My moms beer was warm. Overall, good beer selection, poor service. read more

History

Established in 2018.

Owners Tim and Nikki Babbitt opened the Feisty Pint on Dec. 1, 2018 in the historic St Regis Building. The building was once a hotel in downtown Grand Junction for many years and was frequented by former heavyweight boxing champion Jack Dempsey, who hailed from Manassa. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.

My wife and I were passing through town for the night and just looking for somewhere near the Colorado National Monument to kill an hour. Handlebar Tap House turned out to be exactly what we needed. A lot of places claim to have a great beer selection, but end up pouring the same tired distribution kegs week after week. Not here. They run 24 rotating handles, and whoever is doing the ordering actually gives a damn about curating a balanced board. I was stoked to see they had a special local collaboration beer on tap called The Ocho. They brewed it up with the folks over at WestCo Brewing to celebrate their eighth anniversary, and it is a phenomenal, juicy IPA. The pour was absolutely spot on, complete with a perfect two-finger head that left thick lacing all the way down the glass. The hop profile was incredibly bold and fruit-forward. We were really only planning on grabbing that quick beer, but we caved and ordered the beer-battered cheese curds. I can be pretty picky about bar snacks, especially when trying to save room for a big meal later. Most of the time, fried cheese is just a heavy, greasy mess where the breading completely overwhelms the actual dairy. These were a massive surprise. The beer batter is light and super crisp, practically shattering right when you bite into it. It gives way to a perfect, hot, melty pull while somehow still keeping a bit of that authentic cheese curd squeak. We polished off the entire basket in minutes. The atmosphere hits that sweet spot between a lively local joint and a relaxed gastropub. The service was fast, which is crucial when you are watching the clock for dinner reservations, and the bartender actually knew the tap list inside and out. The whole vibe is completely unpretentious. It is just a proper pub doing exactly what it should. If our travels ever bring us back through Grand Junction, I will definitely be stopping in again.

We were a little taken aback simply because we dressed as 'business casual' and the waitstaff were dressed to the 9's. But we noticed that almost everyone else there was dressed casually, so we relaxed (i.e. they seem to have a relaxed dress code). Our waiter was prompt taking our drink order (and the water was filled immediately). He explained the special (some sort of fish which both my wife and I thought sounded wonderful) and then let us take our time looking over the menu. When he came back, I asked him about the sautéed mushroom appetizer. He described it and we immediately ordered it. It came out piping hot, and I must say - my wife and I both were 'fighting' for each bite - it was AMAZING. The sourdough bread is fantastic (and was great to use to mop up the rest of the melted butter from the sauteed mushrooms). I ordered the bacon wrapped, blue cheese encrusted filet with the house mashed potatoes and my wife ordered the ribeye steak with the potatoes au gratin. Mine selection was pretty awesome. The kitchen burned the bacon, but the steak was done perfectly and with the blue cheese encrustment and the sauce that came with it, I just pushed the bacon to the side (note - if I had pointed this out, I have no doubt that the staff would have refired the entire plate - so that's on me). However, my wife's selection blew mine completely away. Her steak was done perfectly (medium-rare) and the au gratin potatoes were absolutely to die for (I may have stolen quite a bit from her plate). We have our favorite place in Loveland, Co (4th street chop house) and Colorado Springs, Co (Peppertree restaurant), and we've now added the Winery to that short list. Sadly, it's a little further than the other two, but when we come back to Grand Junction/Palisade, this is one place that won't be skipped! We definitely recommend this place.

Definitely not worth the $13.

Great new pub to Grand Junctions downtown. Amazing food with great service and a fun atmosphere! (Gotta check out the sign by the fireplace) Family friendly too! No where else on the western slope can you find a beer tap system that you pour your own beer! It is a must try. Every time I go back to this place, I love it even more. They have amazing specials running all the time, awesome burgers and $2 taco tuesday, people! My husband and I had 5 tacos yesterday that were amazing (and generous portions!) and after tax, it was only $11 total! I also loved that they only had local beer and used a ton of local ingredients.
