We were really excited to try something new, and we were pretty disappointed. We ordered two burgers, both medium well for take out. When we finally got them home (we should've checked there), they were ithon very pink. It's almost understandable if it was just one that they undercooked, but they were both undercooked. I didn't call and complain. Instead, I emailed them, and no one has gotten back to me. It's just disappointing because we had to re-grill out burgers, and the reason we got take out was because my husband worked a 12-hour shift, and we wanted an easy dinner. It was good! The U shaped bar is the heart of the place. There was a separate section with table seating and a big screen TV. All very inviting. Food was pretty good, I had the buffalo chicken salad and subbed steak. Tires out it was just a really fresh salad with steak and blue cheese, very tasty. This DDD spot is worth a visit. Guy and I both had Tim's roadkill. The name makes it sound like a nightmare but it is fantastic! Tater tot has with bacon, jalapeño, pepper Jack cheese, pork green chili, eggs and a cholula aioli. Definitely a happy tummy dish. It's big so you'll have enough to take home for seconds after the food coma you'll be in from the first half. Their Fiesty Old Fashioned is the best i've ever had. Check out the bathroom doors! Each door has the outline of hips but one has a martini glass in the middle, the other a beer bottle. Just follow the pink and blue foot prints on the floor. Fun place to stop for a drink! read more

Yelp clearly isn't a thing in grand junction. I for one, rely a lot on yelp when traveling or just eating out in general. This place is fantastic. The bartender was a bit rude to begin with, but she actually was really nice and recommended great drinks. When I first asked about some drinks she just threw a menu down at me and walked away. After my 2nd drink she started to lighten up, approach me and my bf to recommend some drinks. I love colorado. For a mixed drink back home, it'll run me $14-$20. Our tab.... $17. Large, high-ceiling'd and well-ventilated, we were seated immediately. Loved the signs with the catchy slogans! Kind and capable, Nikki J recommended great beer too try. Service was good despite them being down a waiter! I ordered the special which was spicy chicken wrap that had jalepeno ranch and cheese curds. It was just the right amount of spicy and packed with chicken/ cheese curds. Very tasty! Tots were good but fries were better. Their ranch is so creamy here, it's a must as a dipping sauce! I didn't get any food but I did see they had a $25 for $50 offer some places, but that usually does not include booze. I sat at the bar, drank cheap draft beer and watched sports. Crowd was a bit over friendly for my liking but I think I have low tolerance for drunks telling me the story of their boring lives. They seem to get a true cross-section: sloppy drunk and disgusting college girls, weird old people, angry dudes (that's my category), and of all things, fucking families. The patio seemed nice too. Mostly I loved the bartender here. Just watching her work was humbling. I left a fat tip, but that's just not enough; she also deserves a glowing Yelp shoutout. Overall, it's a solid 3 stars place for a late night hang out place: the location is very convenient, the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. The wine they offer is not the best, and food is not that good but beer selection is decent. They do have an inside and outside sitting area. We came from SoCal to try out this tasty restaurant were not disappointed. The beers were selected were excellent, the Colorado Cheesesteak sandwich was very good, and the BLATE sandwich was also very tasty. But the cheese curds appetizer with Ranch dressing was the best we have ever had! And the service by "Q," our server, was as good it gets. She attended to our every need, she came by our table often but didn't bug us, and was as delightful as she could be. Next time we are in town, we will definitely be back! read more

Great food! I had the 4th St 3 taco mix. Loved the steak and chicken ones, pork was okay- just not my thing. My only complaint was that they were extremely messy. Impossible to eat like a real taco without ending up with toppings all over your hands. Onion rings were very good, too; great size, breading, and taste. I'm gonna start backwards... watch your bill our waitress tried adding her own tip to the bill by just wanting to run the card without showing the bill. A $15.00 tip at that. Burger was not cooked, bun was soggy on another dish. Salad way to much dressing. They were out of a beer we wanted. They have items on menu they don't even serve. The service was outstanding! Our waiter Ryan (?) knew the menu and helped us make informed decisions. He explained the self-service beer (which I guess is not really self serve but no matter, not really important to us), and guided us through the beer selection process. The food was outstanding! My wife had the Reuben and I had, from the suggestion of Ryan, the Dip. Both were really good. The atmosphere was wonderful. The bar is in a National Historic Site hotel with plaque next to the front detailing the citation. We enjoyed our visit and meal thoroughly. They had several TVs tuned to the College World Series Regional, which was good because we used to live in Omaha where the CWS is held and we enjoy watching the games. So why the 1 star? They charge for the sauces over and above the $62 we spent on lunch! The help explained how the chef makes his own sauce and how that is the way things are done now. They said that the sauces are really expensive to make and they were just trying to cover the cost. I. Don't. Care. All I know is I spent $62 for two sandwiches and two beers. $62! And they were going to charge for the sauces. We didn't buy any. We won't be back. read more

I stopped overnight in Grand Junction on a cross country trip, and I always like to find local eateries that are not chains I can eat at anywhere. The name of The Fiesty Pint caught my attention first, and then I saw the menu and knew I had to try this for supper. The staff there was super friendly. I ordered a Nutty Hawg, which was a hamburger with peanut butter. If you haven't tried that, you are really missing a culinary treat! It was a great burger, and the cheese curds appetizer was on point. I did not try any of the beverages, although if it were summertime and not so late in the evening, I probably would have. This was a great discovery for me, and I hope my future travels bring me back to Grand Junction so i can experience this place without a raging pandemic! read more

Based on the 4 1/2 star ratings I wanted to give this more. The main problem was that the food was lukewarm, almost cold, particularly the green chili stew. Wait staff was friendly the BLATE sandwich was tasty. My husband and son both enjoyed their burgers. The wings were pretty spicy even for medium.
