    Lasagna
    Robin D.

1Apr24 Food: Pizza was yummy a homemade crust, nice sauce and the right amount of toppings complimenting one another. Lasagna, of course nothing beats mama's, but this one is not bad. Gelato, two words, try it! Service: our server was so friendly and happy to be there. We appreciated her enthusiasm. Ambiance: a lot of wood makes it feel comfortable and warm. Parking: a large lot right in front of this establishment. We would return for their pizza and another taste of their gelato

We ordered a pizza after seeing more than 700 5-star reviews on Slice. Apparently the only people who order pizza there must be VERY high stoners with major munchies. This pizza...we ordered mushroom, pepperoni and onion. I'll be there was ONE small mushroom on this thing, cut into very thin slices. Onion? I saw one string and it was seriously a STRING. Not even a thin-sliced piece of onion...it was like the stuff you throw in the garbage because it's a little annoying fiber off of the onion. Sauce was unflavorful and tasted like it had been reheated. Over and over! My sweet husband was trying to get us a treat, something really good and out of the ordinary. I have had several frozen pizzas that were better than this, straight out of the box. Let me cut to the chase: this pizza was so non-epic that our dog, whom we lovingly call "the vacuum", didn't even want it. But!!! It was ready on time.

    Cooked Beef Lasagna

Our family used to dine at Ferrante's years ago. I finally went back this past week to pick up some takeout cooked lasagna and some cook at home trays of food as well. As I waited 30 minutes for my lasagna, the staff were all very nice. The marketplace was adorable and I enjoyed my time. I took my cooked lasagna home and when I opened it, it was completely burned and hard on the top. I called the Resturant back and informed them of my issue. The girl said she would check with the chef. She came back and told me chef said some people like the cheese on top to be crispy. I told her this was much worse than crispy it was un-edible. She had no way to resolve the issue. I ended up throwing the lasagna out. Between my takeout food and my purchases, I spent over $100 that night. Very disappointing and it's going to be a long time before I go back.

Had lunch at Ferrante's and had a great time! The service was great and the food was delicious! Some people don't like the deli style of ordering but I don't mind. I had the chop salad and my friends had the grappa salad and the chicken piccata. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Ferrante's also has a little market place with jewelry and oils and wine. You can also pick up pasta and food to heat up at home. I highly recommend this for a great little meal!

I live in Spokane. Always thought The Scoop was kind of mid, but I had a friend in town who wanted…read moreice cream so we came tonight to get some. There was a long line, but not too bad. I could tell there was still plenty of time to get a scoop before 8PM. At 7:43 PM, one of the workers came out from behind the counter and told about 10-15 of us in line that we would have to leave because they close at 8. She was very kind about it, and she kept saying "I hate having to do this," but it made absolutely no sense. She arbitrarily split the line, and decided some people could stay, but said the rest of us (5 girls ahead of us, and 7-8 people behind us) had to go. Mind you, the girls in front of us and our group were ALREADY IN THE SHOP. Everyone looked really confused, understandably. I've literally never had this happen to me before. I held up my phone to show the worker the time, and I said, "Its only 7:43. We have 17 minutes before closing." Others said, "but we're already in the shop" or "but we've been waiting in line for a while." None of this made any difference. We all still had to leave. Even though there was plenty of time to get everyone ice cream. And god-forbid they have to keep working until 8:05 or 8:10 to make sure patrons who waited in line could get ice cream. What kind of shop does this?? How is this acceptable? "Bad customer service" puts it mildly. I could spell out a million other better ways this could have been done. Do better, Scoop. Spokane already struggles in the ice-cream shop department. Please be a part of the solution, not the problem.

Locally owned Parisian bakery cafe and not a franchise. Owners, Maximus and Ella were inspired after a trip to Paris which help them to achieve this. Cafe is located downtown near cross street: N Freya Street and E Sprague Street. Next to European Delicatessen and Carpet Barn. This is a modern French bakery which offers a wide selection of bakery sweets and goodies: -Macarons Ice cream -Assorted teas -Italian sodas -Occasional drink flights (summer/valentine, etc) -Chai tea -Lattes -Gelato -Sorbetto -Specialty Hot chocolate **Too many drinks and pastries to list. They make everything organically. The menu is a good sized menu. There were so much to select from. My niece decided on the Tiramisu which she loved. I enjoyed it too. I decided on crème brûlée. It was as they say in French "C'est magnifique!" LOL! I also had jasmine peach tea which was good. My daughter, Kaylah visited 12/15/25 and ordered strawberry Italian soda and almond croissant. She enjoyed both. The workers were really nice and helpful. This place has a very large interior. It's clean and bright. I'm excited to try other items on the menu.
