The only thing here that's good are the Calzones. Their pizza is HORRIBLE! It's never ready when I've gone in to buy a slice. Sometimes I've tried to order a couple slices of cheese pizza when there was only pepperoni. Instead of telling me they could make another, they just said they are out and won't have anymore! It was 5pm on a Saturday! If you are going to advertise all over your windows 'PIZZA BY THE SLICE' then you should be prepared to make more when someone orders it! It's sad because I live like 5 doors away and LOVE pizza. OH and add 15 - 20 minutes to their wait time. If they tell you 20 minutes, it will actually be ready in 35 - 40 minutes. Any pizza place that has slices offers varying qualities of slice depending on when you get there in relation to when the pizza was cooked. I've lived in Logan Square for five years, and I defy you to find a better pizza delivery. Thin crust. Once in a great while, you will get a pizza delivered that is a little less done than you'd like. Once in a great while, you will get a pizza delivered that is a little more done than you'd like. Very meh. Although they list anchovies on their menu as one of their pizza toppings to choose from, they never actually have anchovies to put on the pizza. I've tried four times and they've been out of anchovies every time. They seriously need to either get some damn anchovies or take them off the menu. Pizza is also waaaaaaaaay too saucy. People leave bad reviews for a pizza place based on ordering by the slice? It's a pizza place. Order a pizza for delivery. I challenge you to find a better delivery pizza in Logan Square. I've lived in Logan Square since last April and we tried everywhere before settling on Festa. The delivery is always on time, and it's way better than other places in the area. They don't use those little plastic things to hold the box top off the pizza, so every once in a while you get your cheese stuck to the box. But it's rare. Sometimes the delivery guy doesn't ring the doorbell, but instead calls from the car and then you go to the door and he's not there. Which is annoying. Otherwise, Festa is amazing. read more

Ok so the foods not horrible horrible. It's really all you expect for the money. It's cheap food let's be honest, and sometimes you need that kind of meal. All that aside, what really gets me is the service. I've never been here when the person behind the counter isn't snotty or short with me. Instance: I was with a friend and he placed his order and was asked for payment. I told her I wanted to pay for both our orders. She made It seen like a huge inconvenience to add more items to the order on a paper slip she still had in her hand. And they also have a $10 minimum for cards. For a place that sells $4 combos this is a little bit of a joke... Especially when they turn you away from an empty restaurant since you don't have cash and a bit under the threshold. I understand they pay fees for credit payments but they lost a customer that lives on the same block with their horrible customer service. Nice business plan dudes. read more

My family and I have been ordering from here since they opened. No matter where we move, they are the trusty, reliable, affordable choice. Its the middle of SNOWPOCALYPSE and not only did they deliver; but it arrived 40 minutes after I ordered it. Didn't even have to leave my doorway. Always great customer service. if somethings wrong. It was served to me at almost room temperature (which I think is just offensive!); the crust split in two, like they took a knife and sliced it like a piece of pita bread, which I thought was kind of strange; and the sauce was sparse. I live in a dead zone for pizza delivery. So I can't get my favorites such as Pequod's, Piece, or even Lou Mal's. Alas, I found this place around the corner from me, walking distance, and I've quickly become a fan. In fact, I've gotten pizzas for parties at my place and people LOVE it. Thin style, but not super thin. Plenty of cheese and great pepperoni. I enjoy getting hot giardiniera and spinach with pepperoni. VERY cheap, especially for large pizzas. Always quick. It's great to support a local pizza place like this. My new go to for pizza when I'm looking for something quick and cheap and delicious. This is definitely serviceable, cheap pizza. As I've said in previous posts, I love pizza slices. And I am all for two-slices-and-a-soda combos. And for $4! The pizza is not gourmet or fancy. You can't not know this as you walk into the small storefront. It's actually a cute little exposed-brick space that feels like it's been a pizza place forever. There are a couple of tables to sit if you'd like, and during the day I frequently see workers or families having lunch together. The slices are kept in a warming case, so they are appropriately lukewarm and slightly congealed. They have what they have and you have to choose from it unless you order a whole pie. The crust is thin and crispy and it tastes like dough. This is an improvement from some thin crust pizzas I've eaten in this part of the country. The cheese is not flavorful, but it held the challenge of a generous dash of cracked red pepper and oregano and parmesan cheese. The best part is the sauce. The sauce is oregano-heavy and sweet, something I haven't tasted in years. It brought me back to all the dirty little pizza places in central Massachusetts where I ate as a child. Yeah! With my Grape Crush, I felt like I was 7 years old again and it was Pizza Friday. They get an extra star just for giving me an awesome flashback. I can't say I'll eat this pizza exclusively, but when strapped for cash and in need of a full belly, I will not hesitate to walk down the block for Festa. read more
