We use Deb who is located in Center City, Philadelphia, but they have locations where you can drop your dog off all over the area. Deb is great as she is very professional and well-experienced. She welcomed Charlie into her home and set up a place for her to hang out. Deb always sends thorough email reports on how Charlie is doing. Fetch when I joined as a sitter/walker last year, July 2023, to spend time with dogs and get great exercise was great. The management team was thorough and very consistent, however, when Fetch came under new management in 05/2024 the company took a complete turn for the worst. Support members would call me incessantly to ask me to take on clients that were upset due to a scheduling error on the companies part. I had clients who enjoyed working with me for several months state that they would have walks cancelled on them with out notice and stated the communication was horrible when they tried to call and confirm. As a walker I would have appointments that I confirmed, cancelled by Fetch support workers without notice and without informing the clients that they had been cancelled on. This company is a mess, the communication is slim to none, and each support representative seems to have not continuity to what is expected. I would not trust my pets to this service as they are not capable. read more

I booked Fetch to pet sit my 3 cats during the holidays because my normal sitter was booked. While I was away, I felt very confident with the service, receiving text messages and sometimes pictures. The sitter assured me that my cats were being taken care of and that she was visiting each day. I returned early from my trip and was HORRIFIED at the conditions that my cats were left in. They had NO WATER. They had NO LITTER. They were FAMISHED. It appeared that the sitter had not been to my house in days!! Further, the sitter texted me the day before my return confirming that she had changed the bag on the automatic litter box. However, the litter box had not been cleaned since I left and the full bag was preventing the litter box from cleaning itself. My cats were forced to use a filthy box for the entire time I was away. I have called Fetch twice since the incident, I have left 2 voicemails and no one has returned my calls!! The sitter was supposed to return my keys today, no contact!! ********Update I received a call from Fetch today and spoke with a supervisor about my experience. He apologized and sincerely meant it. He offered a refund for 2 days of service. After discussing the matter further, a full refund was issued. I changed my review from 1 to 2 stars, but still would not recommend the service. ********Update #2 After checking my credit card statement, I realized that no refund had actually been issued. I am so grateful that I discovered Fetch! Pet Care of Center City. When we needed to leave town for Thanksgiving, I absolutely refused to put our two kitties in a kennel, and thankfully my fiance agreed with me. But we were stuck with what to do, so I searched online, found Fetch had good reviews, and decided to choose them over the other few similar services. They responded immediately to my request and set up an appointment for Deb to come over and be introduced to both of our cats and see where their stuff was around the apartment. Paid for package of 20 half days upfront and have been wait listed every time tried to book a half day even 3 weeks in advance after having been told over the phone that was more than enough notice. Fetch! is worth the money. We have used Fetch! about 8 or 9 times in the last two years. Including trips as long as 11 days. Our cats only eat wet food, so when we are away, we need two visits per day. However it is worth it because I feel totally comfortable having Mark in our house and KNOW he is taking great care of our cats. You can tell Mark actually loves animals and would never want anything to happen to them. It gives us great peace of mind to know he is there. Her eyes lit up when I introduced her to my shy, sweet kitty. I felt so at ease after that. Sugar will hide under bed if she is afraid of a human, but,her breed generally prefers humans over other animals (especially doggies). I've used Fetch! Pet Care of Center City twice for my rescued cat. The first time was shortly after I brought Alley home, and she was very shy, but the caregiver went above and beyond and took care of her beautifully. The second time Mark came, and again went above and beyond, even brushing her when he was not asked to. Before I left, Alley only asked to be held/petted about once a week. However, when I came home she had changed to a cat that asked to be held/petted every day! I credit Mark with that wonderful change, assuming that he did his job well and gave Alley the love and attention that was promised. I like that from the start, I always have the same pet sitter assigned to take care of our pets. Because of that, she not only knows the routine, the pets like her and are not afraid. My cat met her initially as a kitten and is very friendly towards her now though not so with other visitors to my home. We needed a sitter for our two kitties because our usual cat sitter (neighbor) was suddenly unavailable for the holiday weekend. First of all, I told the sitter that my dog had had run twice before, she did did not go "missing", she came right back home, and that she was skittish. I did not ask for $60K, however, I did ask for $30K,from the insurance, because they dragged their feet for 5 months before settling the claim. This was the first claim I had ever brought before an insurance comapny and all I wanted was to be reimbursed for my vet bills, lost dog poster printing, and the week wages I lost while searching for my dog. However, when I mentioned the word sue, and $30K, things started to move faster. As far as the dog tracker, she told me my dog was in my neighborhhod, while in fact, she was found 8 miles away from my home. As far as pain and suffering, not knowing where my dog was for almost two weeks was one of the worst experiences in my life. Not knowing if she was alive or dead, or if someone had taken her and abused her was horrible. Any dog parent will agree with me. I will not aloow this to become a war of words, but I stand by my review. read more
