If you chose to book this food truck for an event do not pay before hand and do not expect him to show up on time. I'm attaching the texts where the day of my wedding when he should have already been there set up like every other professional vendor was, he let me know he was still over 90 minutes away. Then when I followed up with him DURING my reception when he should have been serving my guests he still hadn't arrived. He finally arrived two hours late , still wasn't serving food yet, and left in two hours. He then never responded to any texts or offered to make it right. For months he texts me like we were friends and came across like a nice guy, but I assure you he isn't. I see another person took him to small claims recently as well so definitely beware. We hired Felipe to cater our beach wedding and he did better than we even imagined!! The food was to die for and he was so personable with all the guest. I've had my fair share of "taco trucks" especially working in construction... and I must say, this truck has got to be the worst in SD and the service was no better. the tortillas? I had a better chance of biting through my rug. The meat? Drier than Popeyes biscuits. I've had food months past the expiration date that tasted more fresh than this. Just paid $14 for 2 shrimp tacos that were the worst tacos I've ever had. It was bland and very oily.

The food was great! The owner is very kind and gave us many samples. They lost 2 of the 5 orders we put in so 2 of our party waited quite a while for their food and had to put in the order a second time. He is a person with ZERO INTEGRITY. I booked through a service for a milestone birthday. The day and time arrive and he is nowhere to be seen. I proceed to call him and he tells me he is 15 minutes away. 14 calls and 2 1/2 hours later he arrives. The contract was from 6:30-8:30. He arrives at 8:45. He's injured and instead of contacting me, so I can make other arrangements he shows up when my event is mostly over. Half of my guests are gone by this point and he then proceeds to stay less than an hour (contact was for 2 full hours) and just takes off. He never let me know he was leaving and he served less than half of what I paid for. I understand injury and life happens but he never once contacted me to tell me. The menu he offered was not what we agreed to and the owner of the venue I booked had to help him finish cooking. He now tells me he will not refund any of the deposit I paid and continues sending me bills saying I owe him money. I am currently in the process of taking him to small claims court. Food was mediocre at best. read more

100% do NOT recommend this food truck especially for events. If you do use them, be sure to pay with a credit card you can easily dispute a payment and get your money back. We booked fiesta bravo food truck for a wedding MONTHS in advance, and he knew what time the event started, what time he can set up and what time food was to be served and he still managed to show up 3 hrs late and serve a FEW plates and then left. luckily our other food vendor, Big J's BBQ, brought enough food to feed the entire wedding. After the wedding we tried to contact the owner and see if he would work with us to make this right since we paid a lot for him to be punctual, and serve decent food, which he did neither of, but he ghosted us, so here we are. If you are thinking about hiring this truck for an event, trust me when I say there's better food vendors out there that are more professional, and taste better. We showed receipts, screen shots and our contract and was easily refunded our money by the banks, except for the 1 payment we made with apple pay. (they don't refund you when you get burned by rats)Trust me when I say fiesta bravo can't be trusted, and their food is terrible.
