I like this place a lot. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and upbeat. The food isn't a whole lot better than other Mexican Restaurants in town (for the Cheese Enchilada dinners), but it has always been acceptably good, and served hot, with chips and their own unique salsa. This local mom and pop is located in a small strip mall. Always has great food and excellent service. Last night we had Arroz con Pollo it's is big enough to feed two or more! My mom and I were on a road trip, and stopped to gas up in Spokane. She really wanted Mexican, so I checked reviews and this place seemed to be tops. I am SO grateful to the yelpers for sending us here. The service, from the owner, was AMAZING and attentive. The food came in a timely manner, but still was super fresh. The desert was amazing. What a find! Grew up in So. Calif. and lots of good Mexican food. We came across this restaurant and tried it out. So glad we did. It's not a big place inside but very nice. I have been to Fiesta Grande several times and i am NEVER disappointed! The food is truly AUTHENTIC mexican food!! I usually order the Combo lunch with items of your choice but this time ( August, 11,2016) i decided to try the Arroz con Pollo, OMG!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!! with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Fiesta Grande is a wonderful restaurant. It is family owned, and they are a wonderful family. Best of all, they make wonderful food, and treat their customers like part of their family! Great chips and salsa, cabbage salsa, and the shrimp enchiladas! I have dreams about these shrimp enchiladas. Just delicious. My husband has the Grande Burrito every time. I found this place on Yelp. I love Mexican food! When it's good is great, and when it's bad it's horrible. I've eaten at almost every Mexican restaurant in Spokane. I looked on Yelp looking for another place I haven't tried. I came across fiesta grande, and after reading the reviews I wanted to give it a try. I would never in a million years thought they would have good food being they're located in a strip mall. Don't judge a book by its cover because this place is outstanding! I ordered the combo plate (can't remember the name) it had carne asada, chicken asada, and bacon and cheese wrapped prawns, complete with beans and rice. I'm allergic to shell fish so my BF got the prawns. He said they wee delicious. They look like they were. Both the chicken and the streak was fantastic! My BF ordered a 3 burrito combo. I tried a bite of each, FABULOUS! He agreed. There was soooo much food. It was hard to stop eating because every bite was so yummy. There service was perfection. Our server was sweet and delightful! We seem to frequent this little hole in a the wall place. Our first time here we could not find a place to park in the lot that did not require walking from the other side of the gas station. I had no idea that in this little strip mall there was an amazing little restaurant. We waited for about 20 minutes that first time that we were there. But well worth the wait. The staff is very friendly,and inviting, as if they were asking you into their home. We sat down and were offered drinks, and before the hostess could leave the table we had chips and salsa. This has been like this almost every time that we come here, Once we place our order, we always have time to chat before our food get to the table, but once it does, it's fresh cooked and not out of some steam table like other places.
