"Perfect"? - No. BUT.... After a LOT of visits I can honestly say that anything lacking is more than made up for by Sonja and a couple of the waiters who are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. I've only had an issue with food once (totally burnt fajitas) and the searing in the bar is incredibly uncomfortable but those are my only complaints. I've been here twice and both times have been a disappointment. This last visit I ordered the chicken enchiladas Suizas. The jack cheese on top was barely melted and the enchilada itself had more peppers and onions than the chicken. The sauce was okay but the overall meal not good. read more

We ordered over $150 (not including fees) via doordash in food and there was food missing. We called ahead to see if we could order a few additional items then are not available of DD. They said no which is ok. However, when the food arrived we were missing items. We called to resolve and they said "well what do you want us to do about it". My wife and I have been loyal customers for at least 15 years, beginning at the location on Fairview in Meridian and then Kuna when we moved out here. I took my wife and daughter to the Kuna location last night for a celebration. The food was good, our waitress was nice and understanding. Food prices seem to go up fairly regularly and I can accept that. However, they have been charging for 2nd basket of chips for a while, but last night they charged me extra for another small portion of Salsa. They did not even give us enough for one basket of chips, and certainly not enough for our food!! The small amount costs them a few cents to make. The final straw was when the bill came there was a cash price and a card price. I could understand maybe if they charged for a credit card, but a debit card is same as cash. I pointed this out, and she said she understood, but they charged me extra. I do not appreciate being nickle and dimed for things that should be included with good customer service. If they really have to cover the cost they could just increase the price by .25 cents or so on each item and I would go along with it. But this act is just sticking it in our face and saying we do it because we can. It's not the extra few dollars I had to pay, it is that it tells me they really don't appreciate me as a customer and are going to get everything they can out of me. This is my wife's favorite restaurant, not just mexican food, but everything. This experience has ruined that for me and I will not be back. Treat you customers with a little respect. It is clear you think we won't "catch" those extra charges so you sneak them in. We will go elsewhere in the future!! read more

Came here after hearing some changes have been made recently. We came here over 3 years and never thought we would be back. The first time was not good. This time we decided to give it another try. I would have to say it was OK. Chips and salsa were good, bean dip was runny and not great. I ordered a combo with a chicken taco and 2 cheese enchiladas. The enchiladas were pretty good. Taco was so-so. Wife said her beef taco tasted like Taco Bel, which she didn't like. Wife didn't each much of her dinner. My mom ordered a chimichanga and she said it was good. She also ordered water and she said it was just the way she likes her water. Flavorless and no smell. No chlorination smell or taste like in a previous post. I may be back if I crave some cheese enchiladas but doubt my wife will want to return. read more

Just went to lunch there because we were told it was under new management. Prices have increased, the water was so chlorinated we couldn't drink it, and the service was extremely slow. I asked for some butter to put on my flower tortilla and at the end I was charged for the butter, which is just ridiculous. The food was just so so and nothing I would go back for. read more

I try to support local restaurants in Kuna, trying to keep money local. Yet, this is the second time that I was left standing in the lobby for five minutes and no one ever came up to greet or seat me, leaving my wife and myself to go elsewhere to eat. We have tried going here many times. It is either randomly closed or not accepting anything but cash when we go in. The first time we went in they were about to seat us without telling us they were only accepting cash; we only found out because we overheard someone else who was leaving the dining area to find cash talking about it. I placed an order on grubhub and as soon as the lady handed me the sack I could something that smells like old oil. I ordered a Mexican pizza and I ordered the chicken mole. Even the chips that I ordered smelled like old oil. As I ate the food I discovered that it also tasted like old oil and it was horrible and absolutely inedible. I am so discussed with myself for paying $51 for this delivery order because it wasn't worth paying. The portions were absolutely huge and could have fed 4 people and they don't give you a choice of a smaller version. We came here last night and it was a complete disappointment!! It sucks because here in the city of Kuna the choices are very limited. I wanted to like this place and should've read my Yelpers opinions but I didn't and that's my fault. The overall ambiance is typical Mexican sit down restaurant and had high hopes, but that quickly went away. First I always judge every Mexican restaurant on the chips and salsa. Chips stale and had a burnt oil taste to them. Asked for a 2nd batch and while they didn't have the burnt taste they still didn't taste very fresh. For dinner my wife and I split the chicken fajitas for 2 and this was probably the worst version of fajitas I have ever had. Even though I asked for the veggies to be cooked well done they came out barely cooked and completely translucent. Literally this plate should've been called no seasoning onions and green pepper with a side of chicken. Literally the smallest amount of chicken in a fajita plate. Everything else was the same just bland, no seasoning and lack of flavor. Sorry for being spoiled with Mexican food where I am from but this can't even compare. SCAM alert!!! The bar manager is hustling CASH from patrons for their alcohol orders. Telling us he'll cut us a deal on our drinks if we pay cash. No tab, no record, under the table. I've never experienced this in my life. It felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. He hustled my husband into buying a $20 shot of tequila that he thought was a free taster. Well.... What a wonderful surprise ! The last time I was here was 5 months ago and I was so disappointed in the service that I didn't want to come back. But word of mouth in a small town piqued my curiosity to come back. I am so glad I did! This is a changer restaurant! The food was always yummy but they finally found a great fit for the front end management. We were seated right away, served our chips and drinks with minimal waiting and the food came out hot and yummy! Kudos to them And on their way to being the best restaurant in the area! If I could give a zero, I would. My fiancé used work here and the manager was constantly putting her down and yelling at her for things she doesn't do. He steals the money from the employees, and fires anyone who opposes him. He tells her she is constantly late, when she is always 10+ minutes early. He also says she's called in 17 times, when she called in twice. He had started rumors and made outrageous accusations against my fiancé. Lastly, the employees are illegally underpaid. Would NOT recommend as long as he works here! The staff is great though! Just wish they got treated as they're worth. read more

Not very good. Eaten here three times. We ordered the Fajitas first two times. Both times it was a tray of onions and peppers with a ghost of meat. Second and last time I ordered the two tacos and what I think was a tamale. The tacos seemed to have been assembled with Taco Bell shells, except Taco Bell's taste better. The manager feller, Antonio I think, seems to have a chip on his shoulder and seems to take offense if spoken to in Spanish. Funny thing though, I thought it was a Mexican restaurant. First time here, although we've lived in Kuna for 2 years now. I wanted Menudo and unfortunately I was disappointed. I'm use to menudo having hominy. There's don't and had so many bones. y'all, do not get fooled with the bogus 3 star review on yelp. This place is phenomenal. I've eaten here with my wife multiple times. Their queso dip is great to start and their portions are perfect. The shrimp tacos are amazing and the staff is so friendly. Occasionally the staff can be lackadaisical about seating or refills but use your words and ask for what you want. The food is great, the prices are fair and they have happy hour for drinks. If you live nearby absolutely check these guys out. read more

We always go to Enrique's when we are in Kuna but there was a line out the door and no parking anywhere near so we decided to try Fiesta Guadalajara. There were only a couple cars in their big parking lot. We should've taken that as a sign to come but upon walking in, it had a nice atmosphere so we gave it a shot. Chips, salsa and beans were mediocre. We ordered an Appetizer Sampler Plate that was a generous portion of chips smothered in beans and cheese so extra soggy, half a plain cheese quesadilla and extra dry chicken flautas. No sauces. We also ordered Beef Lengua Burrito Supreme. It was a generous size but mostly beans, no lengua and a little shredded beef. We ate a few bites of each and couldn't handle any more. What a complete waste of money! Next time we drive out to Kuna for Mexican food, we will happily wait in line at Enrique's!!! read more

I was disappointed. Grandsons streak taco consisted of cubes... Yes, cubes of meat on soggy white corn tortillas covered with loads of cilantro and chopped onions. Wife's relleno was over cooked and flat as a pancake. My super burrito was just ok... Not a lot of flavor and barely warm on the inside. Ice water was more like iced clorox. Getting food took forever and getting check even longer although we were the only 2 left by then; watery, flavorless salsa (if you can call it that) and even a thriving imagination would have difficulty calling our meals Mexican food. My husband didn't feel well afterwards. Not sure how this place stays open, but regular patrons seriously need to discover TRUE Mexican food as at best this was tasteless and underwhelming. I gave this place a two because they had pretty good salsa. I had their fajita salad and the only edible part of that meal is the shredded lettuce, tomato & avocado- pretty hard to mess that up. When it came to the shrimp fajita part of the meal (which was half the plate) I could not have been more disappointed or disgusted. I ate two bites of the veggies and had a piece of shrimp. DISGUSTING. When I asked the manager if they cooked the shrimp & veggies in oil because it tasted like nasty oil- she told me first that they cook the veggies and shrimp in butter and that they usually drain the excess off. I was in shock- why are they cooking these things in so much butter that they have to DRAIN it off!?!!!! This place is an absolute joke. Last time we had a poor experience and decided to give it another try. Unfortunately we received the same level of service. While eating, we saw an employee crying and then the waiter then said next to our table "she obviously can't handle bussing tables" this comment was I. Such poor taste and I would not recommend working at this establishment. I ordered the combo fajitas for $19. This $19 gets you one steak and one chicken fajita. Such a rip off! SO DISAPPOINTING!!! We just started coming here almost weekly. We came in tonight with our out of town friends, excited to share our neighborhood restaurant! My friend brought in her water bottle, an OBVIOUS bottle of water, and the first thing, upon approaching the table, the waiter says is "you are not allowed to bring in outside drinks!". I said, "that is weird, I have Never been told that and I take a water bottle everywhere" "I dont like that". The waiter proceeds to say, "well, there is another Mexican restaurant down the street", which is where we sit now. We started coming to Fiesta Guadalajara because they were the under dogs in town and we have spread the news to support them...NO more!!! I went to the Kuna location a few nights ago, while we were waiting for our food I had my daughters yogurt melts and the baby puffs out on the table so I could feed them to her while I eat. The manager came up to me and told me I wasn't allowed to have outside food and that I needed to put them away and couldn't feed my daughter them. She is 7 months old, it was baby food!! I thought this was a "family" restaurant. I should be able to bring my baby and eat dinner and allow her to eat her snacks while I eat. read more
