    Prosciutto pizza

Came to figidini with a friend and we enjoyed our meal! The ambiance was nice, though a bit dark. We both got red wine and started off with an appetizer that was a special. It was some sourdough bread with cheese and some tomatoes on top. It was a good start to our meal, though it may have been better to have something more veggie based. The menu was smaller than I expected! We got the prosciutto pizza, which ended up being enough for us to share. It was pretty good, with the right amount of cheese and crunchy crust! It did take quite a long time for the pizza to come out though.

Have an awesome dinner at Figidini last night. The bartender was great. The pizza special was perfect. We also tried the artichoke appetizer which was super. Will definitely be back when visiting Providence.

As people who are always chasing the best pizza around, figidini is our favorite Neapolitan pizza in the states. It even rivals the best we had in Naples. No hyperbole. How it's still under the radar is beyond me. Perfect high-hydration dough, quality ingredients, and a small, but well-curated and executed menu. The specials are almost always worth checking out, too, as well as the homemade gelato and cheesecakes that are always changing for dessert. Whenever I'm in Providence, it's one of the spots I can't miss. From the friendly staff to the excellent food and cozy atmosphere, it's just a place I always love to visit. It's smart to call for reservations just to be safe because it can get busy if there's a show or event nearby. Also beware that your safest bet is to go earlier so they don't run out of dough. I'd hate for anyone to miss out on some of the best pizza around. Enjoy!

Came here with some girlfriends on a Thursday night and had so much fun! It's a small little restaurant, but very personable wait staff and delicious food. Food is a bit pricy for the size, but still very enjoyable and would come back anytime!! Charred kale salad: SO GOOD. unexpectedly good. Great smoky flavor, also with great mix of textures Pizzas: thin crust, but very well done! crust is doughy and charr-y at the same time :) Nduja pizza: so good. white pizza. pairs very well with the hot honey! Burrata pizza: red, saucy, also pairs well with the hot honey! Drinks: I got the pride of providence which was delicious! fruit and also unexpectedly strong. I would definitely get this again if you want a good time Parking: street parking only, which can be a bit of a hassle in the downtown area :( would recommend ubering if you want to drink because parking can be annoying.

WOW! Great pizza, great staff, great ambiance. I've been wanting to try Figidini for over a year now and I'm glad I did. You can see the kitchen and the pizza oven from dining room. It was fun to watch them make the pizza. It doesn't take long at all from start to finish. We tried the Burrata, Margherita, and mushroom pizza. Everyone of them was fantastic, but our favorite one was the Burrata...we had to order another one. The red sauce is simple, but so good. The crust is light and fluffy on the outside. It was floppy on the inside, but that is to be expected with such a light wood fired pizza with Burrata in the center...no complaints here! Cut it with the scissors and enjoy the great flavors that shouldn't be disturbed with any other ingredients. I was very tempted to get other toppings added to my pizza, but I trusted the menu and I was very glad that I did. We were a party of 6 that included 3 kids that are usually picky eaters and they want to go back for more.

I've passed by figidini so many times during the day when I walk on Washington Street in downtown Providence, but I have never been since they open only for dinner at 5:00pm. I finally had the chance to visit figidini on a Wednesday evening. My husband and I were the first ones inside and were informed by the hostess/waitress named Kara that all the tables are reserved, but we can sit at the bar. Inside, along the left wall, are cozy tables that seat about 14 people and on the right is a long bar that seats about 10 people. Outside, there is a petite patio with heat lamps that seats eight. On the wall, there are three shadows boxes featuring birch wood. Kara informed us of the food and drink specials on the chalkboard on the back wall adjacent to the restroom. I ordered the Hudson North Caramel Apple Cider. This was a really good apple cider. I must get more! We started with the grill special which was grilled oyster mushrooms and polenta. This was delicious and warmed us right up. We didn't leave anything on the plate. The flavor profile of mushrooms is unique since they are cooked on a wood fire grill and the taste was rich and robust. We also ordered an arugula pizza and added cremini mushrooms. They gave us scissors to cut it which was unique and fun since usually pizzas are usually already precut. The arugula pizza has mozzarella, pecorino, and 24 month aged prosciutto di parma. It was so flavorful and delectable. I loved the fluffiness, thinness, and crispiness of the crust. The wood fire oven gives the pizza a smoky taste and is slightly charred. For dessert, we shared a slice of maple walnut cheesecake. This was such a sweet way to end the meal. I absolutely enjoyed everything about figidini from the decor of the plates and the inside to the service to all the food. Each of the plates had a fun design. Everything is cooked in a wood fire oven and a wood fire grill. All the local seafood, quality meats and local poultry is sourced from local farms.

This was a cute spot walking distance from our hotel. There is also a parking garage right above the restaurant which is convenient. It was open later which was nice for a quick bite and a cocktail. Super cute date night spot! The service and quick and informative. I told the waiter I liked sweet cocktails and he consulted with the bartender and helped me pick a tasty drink. The pizzas are smaller but I was satisfied with splitting mine.

We lucked out big time. We didn't have a reservation but they happened to have a last minute cancellation. I liked what our waitress said when I said, "lucky us." She said, "lucky for both of us!" For a small and popular restaurant, she's very right but I appreciate that she acknowledged that it was fortuitous for both of us. From service to the food and ambiance, it was a great experience. We started with the artichoke with pesto sauce, and it was delicious. We each had three personal pizzas but between the three of us, we could have probably shared two. I ordered the traditional Marguerita, my daughter ordered the spicy sausage and the hubby ordered the special pizza or the day which had mortadella, and an herb I can't remember. All were delicious Mine was slightly underdone and a little wet but I think it might've been my fault because I asked our waitress to let the chef know "not too well done. The last time I had wood fired pizza, it was burnt. Not here, but at another place near me. I had to send it back and it was very disappointing. Meanwhile, I should've just let the chef make it the way he always makes it. I think it would not have been so wet and mushy. I didn't send it back because I did feel it was my fault for asking for it "not too well done". Overall, the food was very very good. I love the dough and the texture I would absolutely recommend, and I would definitely come back again. Five stars all the way.

Very nice, very small restaurant downtown. One side is a long bar, the other side has a few tables against the wall. The back is an open kitchen with large pizza oven. We made reservations and although we arrived early and only a few guests were in house, it quickly got busy. Staff seem to be a bartender, a waitress and a cook. From what we witnessed, it seems they have a lot of 'regulars' here. If you are in town for a show or sporting event, be sure to make a reservation. The menu is small: salads, sides, pizza, small plates to share. The quality is very good and reflected in the pricing. We ordered some green olives to start and I must say these olives are excellent. The have small, edible flowers over the top which makes a pretty presentation. Their pizza is served in one piece and you are given pizza shears - scissors - to cut the pie however you like. The outer crust on this pizza is large and pillow-y. The crushed san marzano tomatoes are light, There is just the right amount of cheese on there. The bottom crust is quite thin, and the tomato made it wet through making it difficult to cut and hold to eat. The staff were all very nice, however with all the people they knew in house, we didn't get much attention. No napkin or flat ware were offered and as the staff were busy with other guests I pulled some off a neighboring table that was empty. If you want a side of grated cheese to sprinkle over your pizza that's a 'side' order, so just know that. I very much appreciate the very good quality of the food here. The interior is nicely decorated, clean and not too loud. I like trying new restaurants and love wood fired pizza so I'm glad I tried this spot out. I would come back if invited and try other items on their menu.

Want an "Old Fashion" cocktail, come to Figidini!!!

Stopped in for pizza and it was tasty. The drinks and the service were good. They have a short and concise menu with a relaxed atmosphere. I'm not in a hurry to visit again, but I can appreciate their pizza. Average dining experience.

All around great experience! The cocktails were very well done. We had the artichokes and chicken thighs to start (not pictured) and the spicy sausage pizza - all very unique. The chicken appetizer may have been the best chicken I've ever had. The pizza was very fresh and so fun that it was served with scissors to cut it. Outdoor seating was limited on the sidewalk, but still nice. Very friendly service.

OMG don't skip this just because it's downtown or near the hotel. It was one of the best meals we had! Perfectly cooked wood fired pizza, olives and so much more. And the cocktails were inventive and perfectly made. Thanks to our delightful waitress who made great recommendations!

We were immediately greeted when we entered and seated. We went during the middle of the day so we're actually the only ones in the restaurant which felt very special honestly. For drinks my fiancé ordered an Irish coffee which was perfectly made and not too sweet and I ordered an expresso martini which I really enjoyed. For starters I ordered oysters which tasted so crisp and refreshing! I loved the garnishes as well! The mignonette was a delicious, with tons of flavor. It was tangy, citrusy and sweet while the horseradish + hot sauce carried a powerful kick. I truly loved the flavor profile! For our meals he ordered the clam chowder which was pretty yummy and the steak and eggs which was pretty decent he enjoyed the potatoes most. I kept my New England vibe going pretty strong and ordered a lobster roll with a side of fries. I will say I wasn't the biggest fan one the unfortunately. The fries were very crunchy almost like cooked in old oil and the lobster roll was a little too buttery for my liking. Our waiter was excellent and really made sure to check on us several times throughout our meal. Given, the overall ambiance and the delicious oysters and drinks I'd say this would be a nice restaurant to stop by for afternoon drinks or maybe even dinner. We were looking forward to trying the crab cakes but only available during dinner time.
