I called about 5:40 pm to check if the notary was still there. I was told the notary was there until closing, which I confirmed was 6:30 pm (which is what it is listed on Yelp and on their website). I busted my butt to get there by 6:05pm, and found the store closed, and it had been closed for some time (it was dark, no one there). I called again and it went straight to the answering machine. The sign on the door reads that the closing time is 6:30pm. He could have just told me they were closing early today. In all fairness, my review isn't based on any experience with their services, but I'm sure anyone who is as busy as I am can understand why I am unhappy with this place. read more

So friendly and helpful. I went straight after work and found parking at 4:40 pm. I took my passport photo and filled out my passport renewal form. Zed made sure I had all the documents I needed. He directed me to head to the liquor store to buy a money order and looked up the exact amount I needed on the website. He doubled check the address and made sure everything was filled out. He made sure I filled out my money order and my receipt for my personal records. He sealed it and taped it and I dropped off the envelope on my way back to my car and was done at 5:17 pm. The process is cumbersome and takes a lot of time, but Mr Z kept a professional calm notarizing all the papers I needed. I find his services very trustworthy and with great attention to detail. I went here to complete Live Scan fingerprinting and passport photos for a professional board registration and was beyond pleased with the level of attentiveness and care that was provided. The gentleman made sure each fingerprint were of high quality, thus reducing need to have them redone. He also took a few pictures and allowed me to select my favorite photo before printing. I was having trouble finding a place to help me take passport photos for my British passport application (they are a different size from US ones and have a lot of constraints). Let me tell you that they totally know what they are doing here - the gentleman who helped me spent a good deal of time making sure the fingerprints were of high quality and even called the company before submission to ensure that they would be accepted. The first place I had gone to only took about 30 seconds to do my prints and the experience here was like night and day. I just got off the phone with an employee who I think was named "Lamar"? ( he had an accent so I could not fully understand his name when I asked )... WORST customer service I have experienced. I just wanted to confirm that Fillmore Postal provided notary services and to find out if an appointment in needed before hand. He had a horrible attitude and raised his voice at me. I will NEVER use Fillmore Postal. They should invest in a new employee who actually respects the customers!! read more
