This place is great. I'm here maybe once a week & the staff is always super helpful sending out my packages. They have a computer for quick use & are never too busy to help you out. There are a few places to print in the neighborhood, but this one is a gem. read more

I went to Fillmore Postal to get Live Scan fingerprinting for continuing Cal Bar licensure (I believe April 2019 is the deadline). Not only was Z meticulous in assuring all paperwork was accurately completed, but he contacted the company that runs the prints and made sure they reviewed all scans before submission so as to avoid any unexpected issues. He also confirmed the addition of an "M" before my bar number (something I have never seen in 29 years since I received my license). He also scanned and emailed to me my completed application. Faxing services way too expensive here. Call around and do price comparisons before you get ripped off. Shame on services like this that up charge in neighborhoods where people may actual need access to them. Not like faxing is such a big thing these days but sometimes you need to take care of business and are out of the office, geez. If I went here it would have cost me $14+ dollars to send a fax that was less than $5 to send from a different family owned copy shop- trying to avoid Fedex/kinkos but these prices are out of sight! read more

I came into the store today in need of a passport photo, armed with my application, my old passport, a check for renewing the passport, my checkbook, a mailing envelope, mailing labels, and even my mini-stapler. I hoped to finish the task before the day was over, and I came to the right place to carry out my hopes! Z, the welcoming efficient man behind the counter, waved away my mailing paraphernalia and my stapler, took my photo with care, let me choose my preferred take, cropped away the writing on my T-shirt, printed the photo, stapled it to my application, made sure I signed it, ran off a mailing label to the correct address, let me type in my information for return address, produced his own postal envelope plus a lined smaller envelope for the passport, check, and extra photo, sealed the mailing envelope, and off it went to be mailed, while I stood there, my ears popping from the speed and care and thoroughness of service! Soon after I left the store, two emails arrived, one with my receipt for service, and the other to track the package. I now intend to make this my first stop when I need any of the many services offered by this store--for example, notary, live scan fingerprinting, and all kinds of shipping and postal services. read more

Extremely satisfied with this office. We showed up with bulky packages of wool that were taking up a lot of space and even USPS / Wallgreens did not have boxes big enough to fit everything. When we walked into this office, the owner kindly started looking for a box and found a perfect sized one. He also helped us put the box together and tape it up. The charge for material was only around $4 and we did not have to buy a tape (a regular USPS office would make you do that). This gentleman knows what a customer needs and truly offers the best help. He helped us pick the cheapest service (which turned out to be FedEx given the size of the box). It's super convenient that this post office has all the postal services to offer and the customer can choose the one that suits their needs the most. Definitely recomment this office for anyone who doesn't know much about the differences between dif postal services and wants to get a professional advice. I am really stoked that Ethio Bay Services is available. Granted, the first hundred times I passed it on my way to FedEx Office in Japantown, I thought, "This place looks sketched out, but it sure would be nice to have an independent to do these services with." I was delighted to find them open one day on my way and tried them out. That is probably the biggest drawback, not having dependable or convenient open hours.
